17/03/2026: Excellent location for getting around, well-maintained farmhouse, beautiful, spacious, and clean rooms, and friendly, attentive staff. The caretaker is available in the evening to park your car. The breakfast is plentiful and good.

04/03/2026: I organized my children's birthday party. I was confident it would be a success, having attended several events there in the past and, above all, having enjoyed the food so much that I returned often. I expected the same level of service, especially considering the prices, but instead I was disappointed. The staff was kind and accommodating to our every request, the location is always well-kept and charming, but the food was truly mediocre, and the cake was even worse.

03/10/2025: Very dirty pizzeria. We ate outside because the inside dining area is tiny, so you practically eat amidst traffic. The pizzas are very heavy and poorly cooked.

28/12/2025: We visited here during our last night in Capri on our honeymoon. We were the only people seated right after opening, and the owner came by and asked us about the occasion. He gave us lovely wine and food recommendations, brought us some extra small drinks to celebrate, and sat to talk with us before we left. I had the seafood risotto, my wife had the seafood 'stew' and both were incredible! I would highly recommend this for an evening out in Capri!

04/11/2025: 5/5 stars! We visited this charming tavern and received a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety was fantastic! I especially want to highlight the homemade dessert – the panna cotta with caramel and blueberries was simply divine! My wife ate two slices. The limoncello was also homemade and absolutely delicious. We would love to come back, but unfortunately, it was the last day before their winter break. Nevertheless, everything was fresh, and the prices were, of course, typical for Capri – not cheap, but worth every penny. If you're looking for more affordable options, you might be better off going to Mallorca.

07/01/2026: Good food but terrible service. There was a child acting crazy in the restaurant running around knocking tables and chairs over, crying yelling and growling at other staff. No one really stopped nor apologized to us when we were just trying to eat. It was so stressful to have to endure this and even though the food was good we will never be back. It is one thing to be noisy in a restaurant and another to ignite anxiety throughout one’s meal. Never again.

14/03/2026: I'm a fast food lover, but at the McDonald's in the mall, there were 4 people waiting, and after a quarter of an hour, my drink arrived, which was much less than the standard, and a "1955" menu sandwich, which was a burger with a dry crust and a very flattened bun. Disgusting.

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. Thank you Ottomano!

26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me! I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!

03/01/2026: As soon as we entered, the restaurant was partially lit, giving the impression of being almost closed. At the register, a tragicomic scene: the owner was using his phone flashlight to light the way he was looking. It was enough to ask, "Where are we, in a cellar?" There was no heating, with an outdoor mushroom placed in the middle of the room as if it were normal. The owner was everything: waiter, cook, cashier, and probably even stockroom staff. Now, goodwill is to be appreciated, but here we are going beyond: total improvisation. There is no menu. The "choice" was between: spaghetti with tomato sauce (or with vegetables) ravioli with "lemon and shrimp" We ordered 3 spaghetti and 2 ravioli. The ravioli? Nothing lemon: they were a cream bomb. Oh, lemon, not even a postcard-perfect one. The owner, perhaps even nice out of context, was unpresentable while cooking: scarf, hat, jacket, pants falling down, and he was constantly pulling them up in front of the customers. An undignified, not to mention embarrassing, scene. The final blow? The price: 90 euros for this experience. Ninety euros. Ninety. A place with a big name but which, unfortunately, represents only poverty, and not even a trace of nobility. Not recommended. Stay home, it's better.

06/12/2025: A quick breakfast for two yesterday morning. Customer service, a spacious place with a wide selection of products, delicious cappuccino with lactose-free milk and coffee, and a special mention for the croissant: fragrant and generously filled. Reasonable prices.

27/09/2025: We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The location is magnificent, very clean, and incredibly peaceful, ideal for couples. What particularly appealed to us was the fact that the hotel is designed for couples, without children, allowing them to fully relax without shouting or commotion. It's a true luxury and one of the main reasons we chose it. The welcome was extremely pleasant: the team even waited for us late the night of our arrival due to our late flight, which was much appreciated. Another highlight was the easy communication via WhatsApp, which allowed us to plan our stay with peace of mind (the hotel even took care of restaurant reservations for us), a real plus when you don't speak Italian. The value for money is excellent, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tranquility, quality, and a romantic atmosphere. We will definitely return!

10/09/2025: We stayed at this property for 5 nights. We chose this property based on reviews. We were looking for a place that would allow us to escape from the daily grind... but at the same time close to the sea (about 500 meters from free beaches and lidos) and a few kilometers from the Ascea and Casal Velino seafront. The property also offers a partner beach club (near the Ascea cliffs), easily accessible via a free shuttle service. The staff were very kind and welcoming, from the moment we booked. Throughout our stay, they were very courteous and helpful, always ready to accommodate our every need. Excellent breakfast, even the light lunch that we could enjoy by the pool in complete tranquility. Thanks to Federica, Anna, and Michele; as well as to all the staff who worked behind the scenes to make our stay wonderful. Thank you Salvatore and Natascia 😘

15/12/2025: The restaurant was booked entirely for us, the food was very good, the wine excellent. Gino was available immediately and accommodated the diverse needs of the group, who in turn were very satisfied with both the location and the staff, and the delicious lunch. I recommend it.

07/11/2025: Unfortunately, I can only review the place and the staff's helpfulness. We arrived this evening and they tried to accommodate us despite the event being held below. I was sad to leave without being able to order anything, but the menu wasn't in line with my family's preferences. Thank you anyway for also offering us the opportunity to check with the kitchen to further accommodate our requests. We'll see you again some other time, hopefully. :)
