It is not the first time I review this restaurant, but for some reasons I cannot find the pictures that we took during our amazing dinner. We were 8 people and ordered the Sangiovannara, their signature pasta dish, which was as divine as ever, plus the rabbit all’ischitana, the scarola as side dish, the squid with potatoes, basically the whole menu of what was on that day. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was outstanding, perfectly prepared, respectfully cooked, delicious and memorable. We actually forgot to take pictures, but I will try and see if any of my friends did remember to take some pics. This is definitely one of my favourite places when I am in Salerno. Make sure you visit it! Thank you to all of you guys, this place still rocks !

The first impression is misleading: the place is small and feels a bit stuck in time... But the dishes are authentic and the atmosphere is typical of a true osteria. Recommended!

Must book with a reservation in advance via WhatsApp. A true Salerno restaurant experience! Great house wines (red and white), delicious homemade dishes w a quirky owner and atmosphere. If don’t speak Italian will need to manually translate the hand written menu by phone or hope a patron can assist. Fair prices, credit card accepted. No cover charge (no coperto). It’s like eating at a family’s home.

Great atmosphere and exquisite dishes

We were there tonight, December 4, 2025, with two friends. Excellent food, fantastic owner, very good prices. Highly recommended.
