19/12/2025: Delicious lunch at this totally charming and cozy family owned and run trattoria. Most of the customers were locals. Everyone knew everyone. The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. So happy we found Chantecler!!

13/03/2026: Today, almost by chance, my wife and I stumbled upon this delightful place, blessed by nature. The real highlight, besides the excellent dishes, is the welcome from Mr. Giovanni, a true gentleman, whose blue eyes and life stories captivate you and instill so much energy and zest for life—the real one, not the one adulterated by the contemporary world. Excellent dishes, truly abundant, food and wine supply chain entirely or almost entirely local. We spent a peaceful hour, but what's more, we knew we had truly met a wonderful person. 08/03/2026: This morning, we were visiting the Pertosa Caves and looking for a place to eat on the way to Naples. We found Agriturismo Parisi on Google. We were greeted by a young man who immediately told us the entire menu, and we decided to have just one appetizer and one first course each. The appetizer was generous and varied; we sampled cured meats, cheeses, parmigiana, caponata, potatoes and crusco peppers, and an asparagus frittata. For our first course, we had a plate of chickpea lagane with lard and bell peppers, and a fresh pasta dish with sausage and mushrooms. Given the abundance, we didn't order a second course; we finished the meal with an excellent cherry crumble and a coffee. The total cost was €40, excellent value. The staff was friendly and welcoming; we'll definitely be back.

28/11/2025: Pizzeria La Vesuviana: excellent Neapolitan-style pizza, from the classics to the panuozzo, calzone, and roulade, all top-quality. Friendly and helpful service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended! And then there's the pizza chef, Giuseppe: a charming guy, a true Neapolitan fan, who makes the experience even more authentic! 🤣🍕

21/03/2026: I had a simply wonderful experience at the Hotel Il Nido in Sorrento. The pesce spada al limone was impeccable—perfectly cooked, extremely tender, and with a light yet sophisticated balance of flavors, highlighting the freshness of the fish without masking its essence. While we waited, we were surprised with a delicious complimentary dish: arancini and tomato bruschetta, both very well prepared and which already hinted at the high level of the cuisine. The house wine also deserves mention—very pleasant, balanced, and perfectly complementing the main course. To finish, the tiramisu was, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted in Italy: light, creamy, and with just the right amount of distinctive flavor. But the real difference goes beyond the food: the service is exceptional. Attentive, cordial, and genuinely welcoming—the kind that makes you feel special. A complete experience, which I recommend without hesitation.

09/03/2026: We went to Il Limoneto Restaurant in Vietri sul Mare with a very large group (over 50 people) and had made a reservation. The restaurant was packed, and the wait was quite long. The atmosphere was very noisy, and with so many people, we were a bit crowded at the tables. As for lunch, however, there was nothing to complain about: the food was good and plentiful. Overall, a good experience, even if a bit chaotic.

01/03/2026: A lovely, family-friendly atmosphere: lunch under a lemon grove. Sure, the view isn't the best, but you won't even think about it when you're dining with beautiful lemons and the delicious aromas surrounding you. Worth a visit at least once... and a return visit, too.

08/04/2026: Hidden gem in a quiet street with big portions, good food and fair prices. Relaxed and unpretentious, it was a welcome respite from some of the hustle around the coast. No views but a pleasant atmosphere. Had crab and zucchini pasta with a beer—and it was a large portion! Would recommend to any in the area

08/04/2026: The best restaurant in the area by far. Loved every dish we had. The octopus with potato was cooked to perfection, the scialatielli with seafood was amazing and the portion was generous, and the catch of the day was absolutely delicious (a bit pricey). The kids loved this place. The service was excellent. We had a little accident with our little one who threw up, and the owner was attentive and made the dining experience great despite the incident. This was the last meal we had in the area and it blew our minds. I wish we had tried it earlier. If you are in the area, you should definitely check it out.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

14/03/2026: Very nice place, well-decorated, clean, with a beautiful dining room, a lovely entrance, and even a lovely garden. It has parking and is very close to the Caserta 9 exit towards Maddaloni... so it's easy to get there. The staff was very friendly, but they brought us the wrong pizza. The other pizza, the second one, was the most expensive on the menu, advertised as a special pizza with bacon, provolone, pulled pork cooked for 24 hours, and fries... it was a simple pizza piled high with fries, two small pieces of bacon, and two even smaller pieces of pulled pork... good, you can't say otherwise, but it wasn't true to the description. Then we had a portion of crispy sweet potatoes, with crispy meatballs and crispy sauce... I won't comment on the sauce because it depends on your taste... but what does crispy sweet potatoes and crispy meatballs mean to you? Definitely not just fried... As far as I know, crispy means crispy fried, not just fried... I also understand that sweet potatoes, the red ones, cost more... but where were the meatballs? Five measly little meatballs... 'portion of sweet potatoes' is more correct. We ordered a cartwheel margherita and we received a regular margherita... comparing the pizzas, they were practically all the same... We called the waiter and pointed this out. He replied that they also had special, larger plates for the cartwheel pizza, so we pointed out that the plates were the same... realizing the mistake, he said, 'You're right, I'll report it to the house so you can pay for a regular margherita.' We went to the cashier and found a cartwheel on the bill. To be honest, the waiter was standing next to us and didn't say anything... he was waiting for the tip... we told the cashier there had been a mistake in bringing us the pizza, since we had ordered a cartwheel, but a plain Margherita had arrived... and the waiter, still standing next to us, didn't bat an eyelid... They immediately corrected the bill and took off the 3 euro difference. Honestly, the food wasn't bad... but none of the three items we ordered matched the menu description... the place was nice and clean, as I said, and the staff was friendly, but I didn't like the waiter's behavior, who first admitted the mistake and then didn't notify the cashier, and I didn't like the fact that we didn't receive an apology for what happened... even though they corrected the bill. So, I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll go there again... also because the prices are on the high side.

17/01/2026: A truly sublime experience at this restaurant in Villaricca. Chef Raffaele is a very empathetic person and a superb cook. You can taste his heart and soul in the flavors. The place is very intimate and welcoming. The staff could perhaps improve, but the atmosphere is good. The food is plentiful and excellent. The prices are average, perhaps even lower than average for the quality of the products offered. I will gladly return 👍

15/03/2026: It's an experience! They shout, they make a ridiculous amount of noise, but it's part of the experience! The owners are fabulous, as is the entire staff. The house appetizer is plentiful, with lots of tastings. Excellent first courses. Generous portions! Really, really good. They operate in shifts; as soon as you sit down, you eat, no waiting. We made reservations. They also bring appetizers outside for those waiting.

23/03/2026: If you're looking for Gluten Free Italian food while in Napoli, stop searching. This is the spot. The staff are welcoming, attentive and the restaurant provides almost anything on the menu freshly prepared and gluten free. Without doubt the best in the area.

23/03/2026: Very welcoming place. I was initially surprised by the prices... then by the portions (which justify the prices). The pizza was very good, the tomatoes tasted fresh. The staff were very kind and attentive. Even the gluten-free option was very good and appreciated, and they were also very knowledgeable and attentive. The entire menu is gluten-free.
