09/11/2025: My experience was negative. Castellabate is a beautiful place to visit, but I don't recommend the restaurant. At the waiter's insistence, we ordered the daily menu: a starter, bruschetta with marinated anchovies, a first course, water, house wine, and a steak for €83. What bothered me most was that the waiter was in a hurry after I waited for my table. He brought me almost everything at once, and twice he wanted to take the first course away while I was still eating. For me, it was a negative experience.

Il Galeone offers a spectacular view of the harbor, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, with friendly and attentive service. The pizza is truly excellent – ​​light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients. A wide selection of flavors, from classic to more creative, all prepared with great care. The appetizers and desserts are also worth it! A place I will definitely return to: excellent food, breathtaking views, and an experience that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if it's just for one evening. 🍕🌅

27/10/2025: A medium-rare burger with salad and an excellent version of toast. I had a great time, and it's the first time I've used the dining room on the right, the one inside. I usually find myself inside the courtyard. The one at the back is a great pub, but in my opinion it's a bit underrated. Kudos to the staff. 07/10/2025: Very, very disappointing. I had ordered a classic baba cake with cream, cherries decorated with fruit, and a mini baba on top. I was advised to avoid any type of red fruit (blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, etc.) due to an allergy. On the day of collection, they presented me with a log-shaped baba filled with fruit, including blueberries. When I complained, they asked if they could make it in the shape I requested, but not in the shape I had requested, within half an hour. A total disaster, as the baba hadn't had time to mature, and the sugar parchment with the writing, as shown in the photo, had been patched up and thrown away so as not to displease the customer. On the other hand, the remaining pastries, marzipan and tea cakes, were nothing to complain about, and as always, very good.

25/10/2025: It was a last-minute booking for work. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the owners, who were immediately very kind and available to answer any questions. The rooms are very large, welcoming, and meticulously maintained, especially in terms of cleanliness. For dinner, I went to the property's restaurant, where the chef, who is also the owner, was very skilled at showcasing locally sourced ingredients, such as mushrooms and truffles he foraged himself. The place is very quiet and surrounded by greenery, surrounded by vineyards, which I consider very niche. Excellent for a couple of days' stay, but also as a simple option for a dinner in a very family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

26/11/2025: We went here on a Sunday, having booked the day before. Excellent quality and selection of dishes. The only flaw is the slow service, but that could also be intentional, to make the experience more enjoyable. See you soon

I have nothing to say and if sometimes inconveniences occur, I would like to know who doesn't have this problem having a commercial activity and working on Saturdays that there is chaos 👍

25/10/2025: The food was delicious!! We ordered pizzas, pastas and cannolis. The waiters don’t speak any english, but that wasn’t a big problem. The prices were a bit confusing, because on the wall you see much cheaper prices but they said that it’s the takeaway price. The bill they brought doesn’t consist any prices of the orders, only total price.
