People who welcome you with such a warm smile that you almost feel guilty for not reciprocating with a hug. And the quality of what they offer? Simply unrivaled, stuff that makes you think: Are these people magicians or just very good at their job?
20/06/2025: In a wine shop, if there is very little choice of wines by the glass, it means that there is a fundamental problem. The choice also on the food side is extremely limited, even if I found the baguette with porchetta good, crumbly, not dry, tasty.
The staff does not catch the eye. Dressing in clothes of dubious taste, without a uniform, gives the idea of a lack of accuracy of the whole. There is work to be done, in my opinion.

The pasta was cooked to perfection, with perfect texture and flavorful sauces; you could tell they used quality ingredients. I appreciated the quietness of the place, which made it ideal for enjoying a leisurely meal. The prices were reasonable for what they offered, and the service was prompt. Overall, it was a very positive experience that makes me want to return soon.
10/10/2025: I ordered Italian pasta, which was truly delicious, with a well-made sauce and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use quality ingredients and pay attention to detail. The service was excellent, with friendly, helpful staff, always smiling. The atmosphere is pleasant, elegant but not stuffy, perfect for a quiet meal. I found the prices reasonable for the quality. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We will definitely be back soon.

09/11/2025: My experience was negative. Castellabate is a beautiful place to visit, but I don't recommend the restaurant. At the waiter's insistence, we ordered the daily menu: a starter, bruschetta with marinated anchovies, a first course, water, house wine, and a steak for €83. What bothered me most was that the waiter was in a hurry after I waited for my table. He brought me almost everything at once, and twice he wanted to take the first course away while I was still eating. For me, it was a negative experience.

Il Galeone – Pizzeria in Agropoli
A wonderful discovery in Agropoli! Il Galeone offers a spectacular view of the harbor, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, with friendly and attentive service.
The pizza is truly excellent – light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients. A wide selection of flavors, from classic to more creative, all prepared with great care. The appetizers and desserts are also worth it!
A place I will definitely return to: excellent food, breathtaking views, and an experience that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if it's just for one evening. 🍕🌅

The price/performance ratio is also very good compared to German prices.

27/10/2025: A medium-rare burger with salad and an excellent version of toast. I had a great time, and it's the first time I've used the dining room on the right, the one inside. I usually find myself inside the courtyard. The one at the back is a great pub, but in my opinion it's a bit underrated. Kudos to the staff. I had a great time once again, and it was time to leave you a review.
25/10/2025: We’ve waited for the kitchen to open for 1h and then 40min more the food to come. French fries were fried twice, “fresh” chips was store bought, food was awful…

25/10/2025: It was a last-minute booking for work. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the owners, who were immediately very kind and available to answer any questions. The rooms are very large, welcoming, and meticulously maintained, especially in terms of cleanliness. For dinner, I went to the property's restaurant, where the chef, who is also the owner, was very skilled at showcasing locally sourced ingredients, such as mushrooms and truffles he foraged himself.
The place is very quiet and surrounded by greenery, surrounded by vineyards, which I consider very niche. Excellent for a couple of days' stay, but also as a simple option for a dinner in a very family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

17/10/2025: We organized a group evening with our committee... the guys were kind and immediately available to organize some tastings and delicious dishes they offered... the Mexican beans were excellent, the meatballs with fondue, various fries, even toppings... in short, everything was truly delicious... the sandwiches were equally as good, as everyone else told us... excellent. Thanks to Fabio, the owner, for his kindness and helpfulness.
We'll be back as soon as possible.
Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: I often go to this place and I can say that the owner is a very serious, helpful and above all professional guy in his work. The service he offers is very good and good value for money. I have nothing to say and if sometimes inconveniences occur, I would like to know who doesn't have this problem having a commercial activity and working on Saturdays that there is chaos 👍
25/10/2025: The food was delicious!! We ordered pizzas, pastas and cannolis. The waiters don’t speak any english, but that wasn’t a big problem. The prices were a bit confusing, because on the wall you see much cheaper prices but they said that it’s the takeaway price. The bill they brought doesn’t consist any prices of the orders, only total price.
