08/10/2025: Dinner was an amazing experience. It was a set tasting menu. Antipasto consisted of at least 7 items, a variety from sea and land. The pasta and seafood secondo were delicious. The wine that was recommended was also delicious and paired well with the meal. The decor is so quaint. The restaurant is actually an old storage room "Catoja" where wine, cheese, salami, etc were stored before refrigerators. The tablecloths were hand crocheted. We requested local music and they were happy to oblige. It was my birthday and our server went to the trouble of putting a candle ony dessert. We would not hesitate to return.

29/12/2025: We had lunch and had a great time. We shared appetizers, including cured meats and cheeses, grilled mushrooms, bruschetta, and carpaccio, and then each chose a different first course. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very kind and courteous. They managed to satisfy everyone, not to mention that this lunch ended with the first snowflakes falling, so what better setting and ending? Highly recommended.

22/11/2025: The rooms are extremely clean, as is the hotel itself. The service is attentive and professional. The hotel is located in the center of town. I wanted to share with you some of the restaurant's truly delicious dishes! Everything is excellent and top-quality.

The food is simply extraordinary: fresh, local, authentic ingredients, crafted with respect and profound knowledge. Traditional, intense, and flavorful flavors tell a long story, built on real experience and not fleeting fads. Each dish speaks the language of the most authentic Calabria. The setting is a fundamental added value: a historic farmhouse of great character, tastefully maintained and personalized, where nothing is left to chance. Even the choice of tableware reveals attention and identity: traditional, handmade ceramics, beautiful and perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. Making the atmosphere even more special is a wonderful nativity scene on the fireplace, warming the eyes and heart. The service is exactly as it should be in a true, high-end osteria: no frills, but solid, knowledgeable, and competent professionalism. Here, you can clearly sense the leadership of a highly charismatic host, an agronomist with oenological training, a great connoisseur of ingredients and the local area, who understands what it means to truly eat and drink well. The music also deserves a special mention: usually a detail that can be distracting, here it is thoughtful, discreet, and pleasant, perfectly integrated into the experience. And to finish, excellent coffee, with an excellent selection of Xelecto, which is anything but a given. It's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it doesn't claim to be: it's a true osteria, with a strong identity, character, and personality, that leaves its mark. 14/12/2025: Terrible experience for lunch at the end of November: poor starter, 2 samples of less than exceptional first courses, veal tart with potatoes (the only good thing), and house wine for a total of €50.00, therefore very expensive.

25/09/2025: I had booked a table for six at Trattoria Ceravolo a full five days before the dinner. I had also made sure a typical Catanzaro dish was available, so that colleagues from out of the region could try it. Arriving promptly at 8:30 PM, we found the shutter halfway down. The door was still open, and there were six or seven people inside who, in a rude manner, kept telling me the restaurant was closed, ignoring the fact that I had a reservation. Only by raising my voice did I manage to explain myself, and eventually the owner's son intervened, confirming the closure due to an injury. I fully understand that unforeseen circumstances can happen, but failing to notify customers with a confirmed reservation is unacceptable. In my opinion, simply because they had no other customers, they chose to close. In any case, the result was a terrible impression on my colleagues and a ruined evening. Such unprofessional behavior is inexcusable: a reputable establishment, if closed, should remain closed to everyone, and above all, it must have the integrity to notify those who have booked.

24/09/2025: The food is good, I liked it, whatever you choose is good, it seems homemade by a good housewife. The only odd thing is the prices of the dishes are either a little lower or a little higher than average, but okay. I recommend it.

08/01/2026: We visited here in October whilst travelling the south of Italy via a recommendation from a friend. Some of the best food, wine and atmosphere we had on the whole trip. Definitely worth visiting. The owner instantly greets you with a glass of wine and makes you feel at home as soon as you step foot through the door.
