22/08/2025: I went back to Calabria for the holidays and never would I have ever thought to find such a cosy and good restaurant!! The ambiance is an italian’s old traditional tavern, which I immediately loved, but revisited to the modern days (for example, they made a beautiful terrace outside to eat and enjoy the hot summer temperatures). The food is really good, and the quantities of the plates are very very copious! I loved the Antipasto, rich of food from the area, like “Anduja”, and delicious chickpeas, beans and parmigiano di melanzana! But what’s more delightful are the Arancini! I asked and they told me they are homemade. I regret not asking for the recipe ahahah My friend took a Panino Inferno and it was huge! He couldn’t finish it, so everyone took a piece and tried it: it’s a 10 out of 10. The bread is made in the pizza’s oven, and the ingredients mix so well together. I don’t really like spicy things but Anduja made me change completely idea. It was the first time trying it and I loved the taste. The service was fast and super excellent. Chef Laura tried all the way to communicate with me even though I only spoke english, and this was very kind of her. Unfortunately I didn’t take any picture because we were too amazed.. but next time we will, for sure! I would highly recommend this restaurant, for foreigners and for locals too. Don’t forget to support small activities like this, and don’t underestimate them, because they will surprise you, just like La Taverna dei 7 Peccato did to me. 30/06/2025: Saturday June 28th I booked a table with 2 of my friends for 9:30 pm, at 9:30 pm the table was ready. Nice menu with many variations. Very good pizza, very high quality, efficient and fast service, also good and kind. What can I say, this Pizzeria is perfect, I recommend it.

18/08/2025: 1 star because you can't give it less, hands down the worst ice cream I've ever eaten, I can't understand how the other reviews are all 5 stars, not even the dog wanted it, I had to throw it away.

09/08/2025: Excellent gelateria in the historic center of Badolato. The best gelato on the Ionian coast from Catanzaro to Riace. Delicious in both texture and flavor. Also worth trying are the granitas and popsicles. Highly recommended!

31/08/2025: We spent a few days at this hotel. The atmosphere and location are wonderful, with a wonderful view of the sea and beach. The Calabrian cuisine is highly praised for its quality and portion sizes, everything is fresh and tasty, served by very friendly and helpful staff. If anyone wants to spend a peaceful time in a truly Italian atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

29/10/2025: The best meal we've had in our five-month trip through southern Italy. Finally, an authentic Italian restaurant without the usual touristy fare. Six-star recommendation. Very reasonably priced. Thank you, it was a wonderful evening.

18/10/2025: We had a great evening with our two children, aged 3 and 7, who were made to feel very welcome. The staff is attentive and the food is good quality! A must-do if you are passing through.

01/11/2025: October - Great Place for hikes, Well heated rooms, difficult to find a dinner place during the week.

17/10/2025: Customers are constantly coming and going in this shop, which is a good sign! Takeout is booming, but the dining room is also full. We had spaghetti alla carbonara, which was memorable—so delicious!

08/10/2025: Dinner was an amazing experience. It was a set tasting menu. Antipasto consisted of at least 7 items, a variety from sea and land. The pasta and seafood secondo were delicious. The wine that was recommended was also delicious and paired well with the meal. The decor is so quaint. The restaurant is actually an old storage room "Catoja" where wine, cheese, salami, etc were stored before refrigerators. The tablecloths were hand crocheted. We requested local music and they were happy to oblige. It was my birthday and our server went to the trouble of putting a candle ony dessert. We would not hesitate to return.
