02/02/2025: One of my passions is good food. I have eaten in many, many starred restaurants and I still can't understand how La Cura has not yet received Michelin recognition. Not only nothing to envy but for my personal taste much better than some 2 or 3 star restaurants.

20/02/2025: For our 10th wedding anniversary my wife and I traveled from the US to Italy in April of 2024. Maida may not be in every tourists’ itinerary, but all of my father’s grandparents immigrated from Maida to Ambler, PA in the first decade of the 1900s so we made sure to visit. We stopped in for a meal and it was like being transported back to my grandmother’s kitchen. We were served course after course of delicious, authentic food. We were overwhelmed. Thank you for an amazing experience.

03/01/2025: Typical Calabrian trattoria. Good food, wonderful service from Mrs. Graziella, which still gives hope for humanity and the kindness of mankind. Very high quality of food with clearly fresh and excellent quality products.

29/10/2024: Bar famous for its cremolata, you wouldn't think so from the outside. At the back there is a large terrace with plenty of seating. Nothing to say about the food, very good, I recommend going at times of low attendance because although it is dispersed in the Calabrian hills you could find yourself queuing for more than half an hour for a seat

23/02/2025: I think that on the entire Lamezia plain, there is no worse place. Not for the quality of the products, I have never even managed to have a coffee, but for the behavior of the employees. I had already gone the first time, and I received the exact same treatment I received this morning, that is; We arrive in the garden with the tables, we ask the waiter if we can sit down and in a completely annoyed manner we receive the answer "yes yes" and we sit down. We waited 10 minutes, we smoked a cigarette, nothing, no one came to take our order, the other tables did because they were people they knew, the 5 of us who were passing through weren't even considered. Ok, I'll call the waiter, "Excuse me, can we order?" he turns and making a calm gesture with his hands says "Now I'll send you my colleague" who already knows you, how dare you. We waited some more, this phantom colleague went to chat with the tables about this and that, holidays/sea/fishing and NO ONE came to us. We got up and left. But it's my fault because I wanted to restore trust in him because the EXACT SAME thing, it already happened a few weeks ago. If your job sucks and you don't know how to interact with the public, the bar is not a job for you.

14/12/2024: I was a regular visitor, unfortunately I returned after a year and was disappointed. Aperitif of limited quantity, price doubled compared to the past but without maintaining the same quality and quantity. Frozen products. I'm very sorry because it was my point of reference for an aperitif in Catanzaro. But we're not quite there yet. Poor service, long waiting times for defrosted ready-made products.
