28/09/2025: Excellent dishes, great service, quiet place. Probably the best restaurant in S. Caterina. I recommend to try local fish. But the swordfish is the best I have ever had.

01/11/2025: Excellent restaurant (Il Semaforo di Taverna Sila) a little out of town where after you finish lunch it's impossible to go for a walk... you're in the middle of the road... that's the only negative... everything else from the welcoming staff to the super clean room, the exquisite food, the short wait from when you order to the super fair price... I recommend going to try the excellent cuisine of "Il Semaforo"

25/10/2025: I discovered this osteria through friends, and I must say I was truly amazed and more than satisfied. It's been a long time since I've found an osteria that serves traditional Calabrian cuisine. The appetizer is delicious and generous, with ten courses, each one better than the last... First courses, second courses, and everything else is truly delicious. The cuisine is traditional, delicious, and made with locally sourced, homemade ingredients. For example, the bread they serve is baked in their own wood-fired oven, as are many other products (eggplant in oil, caramelized onions, traditional cured meats, etc.). The price is excellent for the quality of the products and the excellent service. The staff is very friendly, and the chef, who also runs the place, is truly a good person, and you can tell she runs this business with heart and passion. A truly unique experience, one I'll repeat. I highly recommend eating there.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!

05/08/2025: A very cute, well-kept, and welcoming place, featuring sea green hues with a tropical touch. The warm, original lighting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. You can choose from a variety of meat, fish, and even vegetarian/vegan dishes, with special attention paid to celiacs. The dishes are carefully prepared. We had three appetizers: paprika potatoes, savory zeppole, and vegetarian tacos, followed by a special rosti with beets and pumpkin seeds and a vegetarian bagel. There were also several fish and meat options. We drank two craft beers and an excellent local amaro (Amaro dell'Eremita). The service was quick and attentive. It was an excellent dinner in a very charming place. The price was fair for what we ate.

24/10/2025: The meat was cooked to perfection! The flavor was excellent too! We had the Angus stew with porcini mushrooms, the Angus arrosticini, the hamburger, and the grilled meat... delicious... I would definitely go back!

12/10/2025: We enter and head to reception, ringing the bell several times, but no one comes to serve us. We look into the dining room and find a quiet woman too busy scrolling on her phone. At the end of the day, returning around 2 a.m., Mr. Santo greets us, commenting in a patronizing tone how late it was for us to go to sleep. During breakfast, he begins clearing the table while we're eating: first he takes away a half-full bottle of water, then the cup with the unfinished espresso, and at that point we can't help but point it out, asking him to put it back on the table. Back in our room, we prepare to collect our bags so we can leave 15 minutes early, ahead of the 11 a.m. deadline. But then the anxious figure from upstairs reappears, intrusively, using a spare key to open the door to our room while we're checking to make sure we haven't forgotten anything. I'd say it's a place run by seemingly polite people but with somewhat brusque manners, who mistake paying customers for family members staying in their home.

30/10/2025: We tried some excellent pasta dishes, especially the langoustine and truffle pasta. The portions were a bit small. The service was good, and there was a decent wine list. It's a bit pricey for the area; the restaurant doesn't exactly have sea views. If you look at the price photos from a few months ago, some dishes have gone up by 20%.

27/07/2025: We recently stayed at this wonderful property during the week of July 21st to 28th. The villa is perfect for both families and groups of friends looking for a carefree week; the location is equipped with all the amenities needed to ensure guests enjoy their stay to the fullest. We were a group of 7 adults and 9 children, and everyone enjoyed generously sized rooms, a triple living room, and a kitchen that rivals even the best accommodations. There's also a large garden where you can enjoy dinner on wonderful evenings, and a beautiful pool. I highly recommend it for those looking to relax. The sea is 2 km from the house, and all essentials are nearby.
