12/10/2025: We enter and head to reception, ringing the bell several times, but no one comes to serve us. We look into the dining room and find a quiet woman too busy scrolling on her phone. At the end of the day, returning around 2 a.m., Mr. Santo greets us, commenting in a patronizing tone how late it was for us to go to sleep. During breakfast, he begins clearing the table while we're eating: first he takes away a half-full bottle of water, then the cup with the unfinished espresso, and at that point we can't help but point it out, asking him to put it back on the table. Back in our room, we prepare to collect our bags so we can leave 15 minutes early, ahead of the 11 a.m. deadline. But then the anxious figure from upstairs reappears, intrusively, using a spare key to open the door to our room while we're checking to make sure we haven't forgotten anything. I'd say it's a place run by seemingly polite people but with somewhat brusque manners, who mistake paying customers for family members staying in their home.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!

05/08/2025: A very cute, well-kept, and welcoming place, featuring sea green hues with a tropical touch. The warm, original lighting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. You can choose from a variety of meat, fish, and even vegetarian/vegan dishes, with special attention paid to celiacs. The dishes are carefully prepared. We had three appetizers: paprika potatoes, savory zeppole, and vegetarian tacos, followed by a special rosti with beets and pumpkin seeds and a vegetarian bagel. There were also several fish and meat options. We drank two craft beers and an excellent local amaro (Amaro dell'Eremita). The service was quick and attentive. It was an excellent dinner in a very charming place. The price was fair for what we ate.

11/09/2025: A pleasant surprise with a truly high-quality food and wine selection. Dishes are elaborate, tasty, and beautifully presented. The wine pairings are spot-on, with options ranging from small local producers to top-notch regional specialties. The service is youthful and professional. If they continue like this, a Michelin star will arrive soon.

05/09/2025: A truly high-quality experience, we chose the 6-course tasting menu, which actually turned out to be 8. There was great skill in the use of local ingredients, a great imagination in the pairings, and in the end, we left extremely satisfied. A couple of Michelin stars would have been fully awarded if only this restaurant weren't located in our far south... But perhaps it's better this way; the price isn't Michelin-starred, but the experience is!

19/09/2025: An incredibly good fish restaurant! Highly recommended! We were there as a family with a toddler... delicious pasta with fresh pesto verde for the child, and delicious fish dishes for the adults were a dream! 😍 Everything was freshly prepared... Highly recommended! I would make a reservation so you won't be disappointed 🙂😉

12/09/2025: It was a nice place, and we had a great time. The seaweed pasta was truly unique and delicious, with the clams and crispy pancetta providing a great balance. The appetizer, however, didn't entirely convince me: lots of show but little substance. The fried fish was good, as was the wine. Overall, a positive experience. Tip: Use more fried calamari, as the appetizer would need a revisitation.

21/08/2025: We ordered a platter, which arrived after half an hour, and two first courses (which, in reality, was only one large one). Overall, not bad, neither good nor bad.

15/08/2025: A traditional, well-run trattoria, right in the center but not disturbed by the chaos. We ate a delicious gluten-free fried dish, rich and filling. The Calabrian shepherd's pasta is simply fantastic, highly recommended. All the flavors in the dish are distinct and harmonious. The 'mpacchiuse' potatoes are a must-try! Congratulations!

19/09/2025: This restaurant was found by chance while searching the area, a truly pleasant surprise! Hospitality, kindness, and a homely feel pervade every dish. A warm and welcoming location. The appetizer was generous, especially the croquettes and eggplant, which were SPECIAL!!! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back. A special mention goes to the owner, who is also a true master of the kitchen. She was truly kind and we really appreciated it.
