04/01/2026: Historic restaurant in Torre di Ruggiero near the Sanctuary. Homemade cuisine and excellent pizzeria. Also suitable for birthday parties, First Communions, and Confirmations. Recommended.

19/08/2026: Encouraged by reviews found online, while on vacation nearby, I went for dinner (four adults and three children). Considering it was a steakhouse, we ordered two cuts of Florentine steak, some burgers, and pulled pork. The service staff told us that none of what we'd asked for was available. We were forced to order boneless cuts, and received some truly rude responses when I asked about the marbling of the meat. We had to order cutlets (obviously industrial, of which I've attached a photo) for the children. How is it possible that none of the five burgers on the menu were available? To top it all off, I mentioned my lactose intolerance, and when choosing dessert, I was told I couldn't eat anything. To be avoided at all costs.

14/08/2026: Good meat, but a very disappointing experience. Unclear pricing, meat not weighed in front of the customer, and unprofessional service. For a large purchase, one would expect much more transparency and fairness, especially in billing and cost disclosure. There's definitely room for improvement, both in terms of organization and customer service.

08/08/2026: The owner's son, Francesco, welcomed us as if we were old family friends. He treated us so well that we felt at home. He suggested we try the variety of appetizers. Following his suggestion, we were shocked by the quantity and quality of them, incredible, never happened in our life. He even offered us a bottle of prosecco, a round of bitters, coffee and sorbet. But the best thing was the bill. After the quantity of appetizers, we added a mixed fried fish and a mixed roast fish. We paid very little, if we had done the shopping, they would have spent more.

04/08/2026: Everything is excellent, if you want to eat well-prepared fish, La Cena di Afrodite is the place you are looking for.

24/12/2025: Christmas Eve aperitif, it deserves zero stars. Terrible service, very few dishes for 20 euros, not to mention the extremely long wait. I don't recommend it.

13/08/2026: We were drawn in by the usual keyboard warriors and negative comments, knowing that, as always, not everything people write is true! Our experience? Amazing service, young, motivated, and kind people, excellent food, and a super reasonable price! I come from the restaurant industry, and we need more places like this.

12/08/2026: A pleasant, discreet, and clean restaurant with well-made paper tablecloths under a wooden canopy overlooking the sea, but open on all sides. We ordered two summer salads (€8 for €2) and a sandwich (€8) with a burger and water (€2) for lunch (€2 for €3). Being outdoors, there was no air conditioning: scorching heat. Despite having several waiters, the dishes arrived later than others who arrived after us and were served first. Then we heard shouting from the kitchen... also, the salads were missing mozzarella, and the salad was missing from the sandwich. When we pointed out the omission, they corrected it. The salad was served in a paper container the size of a poke (so a medium-small portion) and was bitter because it had been cut for a long time, forming that dark line around the edges. The meat in the sandwich tasted like those big chains around the world with bits of bone. We paid €32 in total. We didn't leave satisfied.

02/09/2025: Terrible experience, I wouldn't do it again. Inability to compose a poke on your own, lack of many services, I recommend putting more effort into it.

14/02/2026: A decidedly negative experience. I ate at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and it was a bad experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor, and the portions were very small. The portions were small, and the food didn't live up to expectations. The place was cold and the service was unwelcoming. I won't even talk about it. I absolutely don't recommend it.

14/02/2026: Negative experience... a Valentine's Day dinner (2026) where we gave them 70 euros for a poor appetizer, 2 truly inedible first courses, only 3 pasta hearts, and a fried food that can't even be called such, almost starving. I didn't wait for dessert because I had already seen so much from the dinner, I saved myself a trauma. Never again. The place should be closed starting with dinner in the cold it was.

14/07/2026: A good base for our parks cycle route, right on the cycle-tourist route. Very large and comfortable room, well-appointed; the host, Enzo, is always available to meet his guests' needs. It's a bit out of the way from the center of Girifalco, and since the property doesn't offer on-site dining (only breakfast), you'll need to head downtown for dinner. Enzo's availability (and timing) is crucial, as he'll drive you into town free of charge and pick you up after dinner to take you back to the B&B. Recommended.

15/06/2026: During our bike ride, we stayed and ate at this B&B. The room was spacious and clean. The entire farmhouse was beautifully designed, both inside and out. Enzo was very friendly and kind, and accommodated our dietary needs, especially at breakfast, despite it being June 2nd. Dinner, what can I say? Superb. Both for the quality of the dishes he offered and for the generous portions, which were a great way to recharge our batteries for the next stages. And then there were many more points in his favor for the super-potato Aron and the sweet little cats!!

19/05/2026: The atmosphere is meticulously crafted, and the service is impeccable. The food is served in specially themed terracotta containers. The platter of cured meats and cheeses is excellent. The first courses are truly excellent. The coffee and homemade dessert... everything delicious. We'll definitely be back! 😍
