08/04/2026: The cod morzello was truly excellent, flavorful, and carefully cooked. Also not to be missed are the classic pipi e patate, expertly prepared according to tradition. But the real surprise is the gluten-free arancini: divine! Large, tasty, and made with high-quality ingredients. The frying is impeccable: dry and not at all greasy. A rare and precious attention to gluten-free. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: Dinner was an amazing experience. It was a set tasting menu. Antipasto consisted of at least 7 items, a variety from sea and land. The pasta and seafood secondo were delicious. The wine that was recommended was also delicious and paired well with the meal. The decor is so quaint. The restaurant is actually an old storage room "Catoja" where wine, cheese, salami, etc were stored before refrigerators. The tablecloths were hand crocheted. We requested local music and they were happy to oblige. It was my birthday and our server went to the trouble of putting a candle ony dessert. We would not hesitate to return.

24/08/2025: Very poor service. Ordered dishes were forgotten. Drinks were sometimes only brought after being asked. Waiting time for two pizzas was two hours. The pizza dough was the worst I've had in Italy.

04/04/2026: We went to Poc and had a good meal, but the waiter was very rude and uninterested. When I asked for a recommendation for a sweet beer, given that they have so many non-commercial beers, he replied that he wasn't a sommelier and couldn't tell me. I told him to choose them, perhaps asking someone who knew more. He told me to tell him which beer I wanted so as not to waste time. It's a shame; this service seems outdated in 2026 and very unpleasant for a place in the center.

29/03/2026: A special and very cozy restaurant, with a great location and friendly staff. The "Kafka" pizza is a good choice! I just had a tuna pizza with sour cream for the first time and I was completely impressed, I can only recommend the place. (It was recommended to me by a local cafe, thank you to them!)

01/05/2026: I'm giving it one star only because it's the only way to go! We ordered two platters: the food was reasonably good, nothing exceptional, and definitely not worth the price. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the staff's behavior, which could use significant improvement in its customer service. We often received unfriendly looks, annoyed glances, and no smiles. In particular, when we simply asked for an extra plate and a fork so we could eat our appetizer better, we were met with a snort and a dirty look, as if the request was inconveniencing us, simply because the staff needed to go back inside the restaurant. A truly unprofessional and unpleasant attitude. The only positive note was the male waiter serving the tables, the only one who was friendly, kind, and courteous. Overall, it was a negative experience that we won't repeat and certainly won't return.

24/03/2026: I have to be honest. I've been coming to La Coccinella since I was 5 years old, and I have to say my opinion hasn't changed. The pizza is delicious, especially the round one; the sliced ​​one is a bit less so, but still good. I have to say I highly recommend this pizzeria, especially for the super-friendly and polite staff, even during the most awkward moments.

16/09/2025: I've been from Catanzaro since I was born, and since I love the sea so much, I should know every place, but I assure you, that's not the case 🤣🤣🤣. I discovered this place purely by chance, and among the many beaches lined up, my "snack buddy" Nilde asked me which one inspires you? And I replied: "This one, definitely this one, because it has these elegant umbrellas, this tidy beach, and then I don't know, but this spot inspires me 🤣🤣." And so it was, 9 days of pure relaxation, thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it, also for the kindness of Maria, her sister, and everyone else who helped make these days of vacation truly unforgettable. 07/09/2025: Very beautiful beach, well-maintained lido, excellent restaurant. Everyone is very kind and friendly, except for the guy (maybe the son?) who accompanies you to your umbrella. Prices are medium to high, but from my experience, it seems like even in Calabria they're overdoing it, thus hindering tourism growth.

04/10/2025: Fabulous appetizers, exceptional pipi and potatoes, excellent grilled meat by the meter but the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms deserves a 110 cum laude

02/09/2025: Quality pizza, excellent balance between maturation and leavening. Welcoming place, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Good dough rolling technique. Definitely recommended. Specific Analysis: 1- Inviting appearance 2- Well-cooked with a honeycomb crust and just the right amount of crust 3- Good consistency due to a properly matured dough 4- Well-balanced salt, definitely with a ratio of 2.5%-3% 5- Balanced toppings and combinations, each raw ingredient is distinctly perceived. 6- No feeling of thirst during the night, synonymous with a long leavening process, definitely 48h-72h, with a balance of ingredients in contrast with the sodium. Overall rating 10/10. Recommended
