18/01/2026: A completely negative experience, celebrating an eightieth birthday. A series of appetizers that were embarrassing to say the least, followed by two inedible first courses, so loaded with flavor enhancers they were disgusting.

26/12/2025: The restaurant recently changed ownership. After going there for three years in a row and always having a great experience, this evening was definitely an experience not to be repeated. We ate for two, without bread, vegetables were served twice with the soil and cooking water, and a portion of irregularly cut swordfish rolls. A small, boney snapper. A glass of wine and water. €60 with the vegetable portions deducted from the bill.

31/05/2026: The worst pizza I've had in a long time. We ordered completely identical pizzas for our table, but the service was embarrassing to say the least: they arrived at completely irregular and staggered times. We basically ate one at a time, looking at each other—an unacceptable disorganization, considering the pizzas were identical and should have come out together. ​But the real disaster was on the plate. The pizzas were literally raw on the surface, while the bottom was completely burned and covered in black carbon. It felt like we were chewing ash mixed with uncooked dough, a clear symptom of a total inability to manage the oven and the cooking process. ​As if that weren't enough, the raw ingredients also left much to be desired: the buffalo mozzarella used was decidedly poor quality and had an annoyingly rubbery consistency, far from the freshness and flavor a true buffalo mozzarella should have. ​Money wasted on a practically inedible product and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. Highly not recommended.

22/04/2026: I went to this place to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Everything was delicious! We chose the pizza rotation menu. The rotisserie was amazing, you can really feel it's made in-house. They had various pizza flavors with high-quality ingredients and a very light dough. The staff was helpful and kind to our every request! For what we paid, it was truly worth it! The evening was accompanied by music, we had a great time! The place was very well-kept and clean! I highly recommend it to everyone!

16/08/2025: Since they opened, every year as per tradition, the first pizza of the holidays has been there, and it's always been good. This year I was disappointed; the dough fell short of our expectations. Not satisfied, we tried to get it again, but to no avail. We'll try again next year, and let's hope for the best. On the plus side, the staff.

15/08/2025: A truly positive experience. Armando, the owner, is a truly wonderful person. Very helpful and friendly. Plus, we had lunch; everything was delicious, the appetizers were spectacular. I'll definitely be back.

15/02/2026: We went to this place tonight, and we had really high hopes based on their photos... but unfortunately, it wasn't to be... low-quality ingredients, an inedible burger, and days-old bread. The service was pleasant. I'm sorry I won't be able to return and share a good experience.

02/07/2026: the place looked clean and the food was ok, good portions, price was ok too, but there wasn’t music on the place, the tv was out loud so we kind of had to speak high each other to understand, the waitress was literally a kid. the enviroment feels like dark and down inside, but good thing is that there was an air conditioning.

28/06/2026: The pizza was delicious; we chose three different kinds, the diavola wasn't spicy, and with drinks we paid 41 euros. The only downside was the lack of English, but you can get by by showing the menu.

I remember it as far back as 1976, and for over 50 years it has been part of the story of the town itself and part of the memories of generations of families returning from abroad. When families from Pianopoli gathered in New York, its name often came up in conversation. It became one of those places that everyone seemed to know and remember. During my recent stay, I was reminded not only of the warm hospitality and excellent service, but also of the important place this hotel holds in the life of the community. It represents a chapter of modern Pianopoli that so many people remember and cherish. A special mention goes to the pizza. After years of eating pizza throughout Italy, it is rare to find one that is so light and digestible. Even eating it late in the evening, I slept comfortably and woke up feeling great. It is easy to understand why people return year after year. For me, this was more than a hotel stay. It was a return to family memories, local history, and a place that continues to welcome people with genuine hospitality. A special place with a beautiful story behind it.

10/03/2026: I could say a lot, but it's not the place it once was. I can't forgive the fact that the knives, forks, and glasses were really dirty and unsightly, and I wasn't the only one in the dining room to complain. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad. The pizza is good. The appetizer needs a rethink.

03/04/2026: A very Italian and Calabrian place. We loved it. The staff was super friendly. The pizza was delicious. Don't miss this place if you want to experience typical Calabrian places and mingle with the locals.

23/02/2026: In an area with exorbitant prices, this pizzeria is a rare find: fair prices and accessible to everyone. The place is simple, not your typical "Instagrammable" spot, all lights and design, but it's pure substance. I was skeptical due to some negative reviews, but luckily I didn't pay attention: the pizza was truly good and rich in toppings. If you're looking for a modern place to take photos and pay €15 for a pizza (often of inferior quality), look elsewhere. If you want good food at an excellent price, this is the place. Highly recommended!

29/07/2026: If you look American the boss will literally tell staff to stop helping you to help someone who walks in behind you. I speak some Italian I ordered 2 pre-made panini. Instead of ringing me up they prepared 3 other orders.

29/06/2026: I was annoyed because I gave 50 eur instead of less for change. It was dirty and not very clean. Didn't look like they wanted customers in the cafe.

19/07/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We had to wait over an hour for three pizzas. Meanwhile, the beers, which had been brought much earlier, were already piping hot when the pizzas finally arrived. Such a long wait, without explanation or apology, is truly difficult to justify. The pizza was decent, but the service completely ruined the evening. I hope the restaurant improves its time management, because making customers wait so long is unacceptable.

29/06/2026: The spring rolls were good, but the rice noodles could be improved. I'm not sure exactly what I didn't like about the taste—perhaps too salty—but I've definitely had better. The owner was very kind. I didn't find the prices as high as the reviews stated, but they're average for Milan—perhaps you can find them a little cheaper in Chinatown.
