14/11/2025: This guest house is nestled in amongst orchards and farms so you end up nicely off the beaten track and in quiet country settings that is easily accessible from lamezia terme and well linked to the coastal road towards Salerno or Reggio. The staff are second to none and extremely accommodating (we arrived a bit later than expected) and kept the rooms perfectly clean. There was a decent enough kitchen (was able to make carbonara and bruschetta). The bed was a bit of a disappointment, it curved heavily in the middle and so you ended up on the sides trying to keep straight. TV and access to netflix etc. was perfect and internet was solid. Good for folks who want to have calm and quiet at a highly affordable price.

08/10/2025: I come back often, I like it, and I like the location. Don't be put off by the slightly rough final stretch of the road, but that's all. Five rooms, a restaurant/pizzeria. Pleasant and very clean atmosphere. The owner (Antonio) is always available.

31/05/2026: The worst pizza I've had in a long time. We ordered completely identical pizzas for our table, but the service was embarrassing to say the least: they arrived at completely irregular and staggered times. We basically ate one at a time, looking at each other—an unacceptable disorganization, considering the pizzas were identical and should have come out together. ​But the real disaster was on the plate. The pizzas were literally raw on the surface, while the bottom was completely burned and covered in black carbon. It felt like we were chewing ash mixed with uncooked dough, a clear symptom of a total inability to manage the oven and the cooking process. ​As if that weren't enough, the raw ingredients also left much to be desired: the buffalo mozzarella used was decidedly poor quality and had an annoyingly rubbery consistency, far from the freshness and flavor a true buffalo mozzarella should have. ​Money wasted on a practically inedible product and terrible service. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. Highly not recommended.

31/05/2026: I was at the Trocadero recently and the restaurant experience was nothing short of disastrous. I understand the seasonal price increases at the beach resorts, but here it's truly bordering on the absurd. ​I ordered a meat main course and, for a whopping €18, I found myself with literally less than four pieces of meat on my plate. As if the paltry quantity weren't enough, the quality was absolutely terrible: the meat was extremely tough, almost inedible, and it was cooked completely incorrectly, far from the requested medium doneness. Added to this was €6 for a vegetable side dish, which turned out to be a paltry and embarrassing little dish. ​To add insult to injury, the cashier justified her decision by saying that the prices were clearly displayed on their digital menu. Too bad she "forgot" to specify a crucial detail: the photos of the dishes on that menu don't correspond in the slightest to reality and are clearly generated by Artificial Intelligence! They display generous and inviting portions that bear no resemblance to the sad, empty plates that actually arrive at your table. ​An exorbitant bill that leaves you feeling cheated, having eaten terribly, and still hungry. The place itself may have its charm, but such speculative kitchen management, combined with misleading communication, completely ruins the experience. ​Absolutely not recommended. I won't be returning.

10/04/2026: Nice place... Great coffee and aperitif! 💯💯💯

27/02/2026: Horrible experience. Yesterday morning's aperitif was one of the worst I've ever had. The food had flavors and textures that seriously raised doubts about its freshness. Some products had an altered taste and looked anything but reassuring. Needless to say, after a few hours I felt ill, with severe stomach pain, and I spent the whole night with severe intestinal discomfort. I'd been to this place once before, and even then, I didn't feel well after the aperitif. I still wanted to give it a second chance, thinking it was an isolated incident, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. An aperitif should be a pleasant experience, not an experience that ruins your night. Personally, I won't be returning, and I absolutely can't recommend it to anyone.

29/12/2025: The first thing that strikes you is the warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent wine, excellent appetizers, and excellent pizza. I highly recommend this place, especially for those looking to spend an evening with family. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

29/12/2025: Calabrian to the core, even though I've lived abroad for years. I felt at home here. We were accompanied by members of this wonderful family who treated us to many local specialties. Having been here often, I can assure you that the envy of those who have written negative reviews is palpable. Believe me, these are purely subjective experiences or poor attempts to boycott a place that isn't a restaurant but a happy family ready to share their daily lives with you. Personally, I put my heart and soul into it, and in addition to returning, I recommend you visit. Try it to grow 😊 I'd like to take this opportunity to say to the owners: Thank you 🙏🏻 you're wonderful. P.S. I'm celiac and I ate well and without any problems. 💪🏻 Yes, Gluten Free

17/05/2026: Whatever you do, don't eat at this place! Help!!!!! Everything we ordered was disgusting!!!! The focaccia-style sandwiches were awful: hard, undercooked bread, two incredibly thin slices of ham... and that was it, nothing else. Luckily we had water!!! From what little I saw of the kitchen, I'd rather not know the rest!

27/04/2026: If I were to review the food alone, it would be 5 stars. The spaghetti with clams and fried fish was truly delicious. The service was always prompt and friendly. It's a small but welcoming place that makes you feel at home, but perhaps it could use a bit of a makeover.

31/10/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but I found the pasta filling very commercial; the only thing you could taste was the powdered cream. What a shame, I really think you need to improve the quality of the ingredients if you want to keep up with other offerings in the area.

25/02/2026: A very pleasant and friendly place. The staff are super nice and very helpful. I recommend it if you are looking for peace and quiet and want to stay for a while; it is the perfect place. Everything moves slowly here, no one is in a hurry

28/12/2025: Unfortunately, despite the pleasant atmosphere and quality of the food, I'm disappointed to note that *table service is often absent*. The waiters don't come to take my orders, and I have to get up to get their attention.

29/09/2025: A very lovely place; I was there for a very intimate wedding reception. Aesthetically beautiful and rustic, large and surrounded by olive trees and countryside. Good food and very friendly staff. A little tricky to get to, on a dirt road, but you can get there by being careful with your GPS.

18/06/2025: I was there for my nephew's 18th birthday...beautiful location even if a bit neglected. Really good food but the staff is to be avoided at all costs. Especially the owner's sister. For this reason alone I wouldn't go back.

01/02/2026: We visited this local pizzeria and had a great authentic experience. Even though the staff didn't speak English, everything went smoothly and communication was easy. The pizza was excellent (brilliant if comparing with places in Nordics), and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. We even got house-made lemonchello, which was pretty good.

09/03/2026: Salt and pepper chicken wings? Why is there chili pepper in them? Are the seasonings just randomly added? Is this even the same thing?

20/12/2025: Had lunch today with my wife, the place was empty, 2 appetizers, a first course, 2 second courses, a bowl of rice, 1/2 a glass of white wine, 1/2 a bottle of water, 2 coffees; 2 covers 57 euros. Good and plentiful food, good service but high prices.

10/03/2026: I could say a lot, but it's not the place it once was. I can't forgive the fact that the knives, forks, and glasses were really dirty and unsightly, and I wasn't the only one in the dining room to complain. It's a shame because the food wasn't bad. The pizza is good. The appetizer needs a rethink.

04/01/2026: A cozy atmosphere with a distinctive style unlike other places. The pizzas are good. The grilled meats, cooked in front of you, are also delicious. Reasonable prices.
