30/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a charming village about 600 meters above Soverato. The appetizers are excellent, with an interesting selection. The Calabrian black pork shank is also excellent. The desserts are good, but the house wine needs updating. The service is very attentive, and the price is reasonable considering the high quality of the food.

04/01/2026: Highly recommended restaurant. We started with a truly rich and tasty appetizer: quality cured meats, local rotisserie, and bruschetta prepared with authentic ingredients. The mixed grill was also perfectly cooked, accompanied by truly delicious local potatoes. You can sense the attention to quality ingredients and traditional cuisine. The service was friendly and the atmosphere welcoming.

27/07/2025: I went there with some friends of mine, we had a lot of fun, we ate very well (the pizza is very good) and the home-made food even better. The people who work there are good, very polite and kind. They treat you very well. The kitchen is fast, the food arrives immediately. The bathrooms are very clean, spacious and very simple.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

20/07/2025: Dall’ingresso alla tavola, tutto è stato perfetto. Locale pulito e accogliente. La cucina è un vero omaggio ai sapori del territorio: prodotti tipici, freschissimi e piatti deliziosi. Il personale è gentile e attento, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!

20/07/2025: We returned to Lake Ampollino in Sila after four years. We were surprised to find several pleasant businesses open, and many tourists, which doesn't detract from such a beautiful and enjoyable area to visit. We enjoyed the delicacies of the region, particularly Sila, at Bar La Botte, which we hope will grow, even if there are long lines to get in in the future. Delicious, well-prepared food: we chose the set menu of veal morsels, Sila potatoes, mixed roast pork, and pappadelle with wild boar ragù. The staff were welcoming and relaxed; it was a pleasure to sit down and enjoy their dishes. Definitely a must-visit; we'd be back!

16/11/2025: A very welcoming restaurant, it feels like being at home. The stockfish is excellent, the portions are generous and tasty, and the service is excellent. The staff is friendly, kind, and courteous. We recently chose it for a birthday lunch, and all our guests were delighted.
