01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

15/03/2026: The food is just enough to keep you from starving, but the quality is truly embarrassing. Considering the price, it's a terrible value. There are many other, much better restaurants in Amantea: my advice is to stop at the restaurants in the square just before arriving here, or choose any other place in the area, because you're unlikely to eat worse. It was lunch, but after finding worms in the appetizer, our hunger and desire to stay completely disappeared. Despite this, we waited for the main courses anyway, which unfortunately turned out to be equally disappointing: flavorless and decidedly poor quality. Without exaggeration, it was absolutely the worst place I've ever eaten at in Amantea... and probably one of the worst of my life. A totally negative experience. 🚫🍽️

06/03/2026: A very welcoming and elegant restaurant, with a refined and pleasant atmosphere. Despite our late reservation for a large group (there were 25 of us), the restaurant was accommodating: we had initially booked for 1:30 PM but later asked to extend our reservation to 2:15 PM, and we were met with no problem. Upon our arrival, a room was reserved for us, although we were divided into four tables, an understandable choice to better manage such a large group. The service staff were always very kind, but unfortunately the wait was truly excessive: it took us over four hours to finish the meal. During the service, several bottles of wine ran out, forcing us to change labels several times and mix three or four different wines. Dessert was also a small disappointment: the tiramisu cream had run out, and some desserts arrived presumably hastily prepared, with the ladyfingers still quite hard. That said, the quality of the food was excellent, as was the atmosphere and the welcoming atmosphere. For this very reason, we believe the restaurant has great potential, but that the service and organization, especially with large groups, could be improved.

06/04/2026: Bad experience. The welcome, service, and food were absolutely terrible. The food was cold, poor quality, and the wait was interminable. I will never return!!!

06/04/2026: Terrible experience. Absolutely not to be repeated. We sat down at 1:00 PM, and after an hour, the appetizer arrived. We saw people sitting long after us being served much earlier. With the open kitchen, we could see furious arguments among the staff. The waiters, although kind, didn't know how to apologize. I won't even comment on the quality of the food, so as not to sound rude. The meal (a €40 set menu) ended at 3:15 PM after, last but not least, they commented that they had run out of sorbet and couldn't serve it anymore even though it was included on the menu. I recommend it when it's closed... TERRIBLE.

30/11/2025: The food is excellent, and it's a true experience of traditional Calabrian cuisine. The staff is friendly and attentive to detail, and you'll feel truly pampered!

26/11/2025: A lovely place, run by friendly and welcoming people with just the right amount of empathy. The place is spacious and well-appointed. Tables are beautifully set and service is prompt. The dishes we tried lived up to expectations of rustic cuisine. Portions are adequate. As a Ligurian, I can say the price is reasonable.

24/03/2026: Tropea, Lido Costa degli Dei, "Coast of the Gods" is a very nice small town beach. It has a beautiful sandy beach, located at the foot of the sanctuary of Santa Maria Dell Isola, a great place for a cloudless and sunny holiday.

22/04/2026: It's been years since I've eaten such a tender and flavorful fillet. When they brought my plate, I could smell the intense aroma of grilled meat. Overall, the ingredients seem excellent quality, the service is quick and courteous, and the atmosphere is welcoming with a rustic touch.

30/12/2025: I was there on Monday evening and it was a wonderful surprise to find such a place in the heart of the city. Small and welcoming, with professional yet warm owners who made you feel immediately at ease. The dishes were unique, enhanced by the excellent pairing with a red from Cantina Tollo 1960 that they recommended. What can I say... I can't wait to go back! 😎"

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.

18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.
