18/08/2025: 1 star because you can't give it less, hands down the worst ice cream I've ever eaten, I can't understand how the other reviews are all 5 stars, not even the dog wanted it, I had to throw it away.

09/08/2025: Excellent gelateria in the historic center of Badolato. The best gelato on the Ionian coast from Catanzaro to Riace. Delicious in both texture and flavor. Also worth trying are the granitas and popsicles. Highly recommended!

23/09/2025: I just spent a weekend here and can't say enough about my complete satisfaction. The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished, and the staff are extremely professional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I can't wait to return.

09/09/2025: 4 calls in 3 weeks to get information for a baptism, "we'll call you back this evening ma'am" I never received a call back, if you don't feel like working you can say so directly on the phone so as not to waste time.

21/08/2025: Two of us visited this restaurant, arriving at 9:30 PM. From the start, we didn't have the best impression: the menu was handwritten, without prices, and many of the dishes were already unavailable. We ordered a small slice of pork and four meatballs in tomato sauce, but the final bill was surprisingly expensive and completely disproportionate to what we received. The service was poor, inattentive, and not at all welcoming. Overall, it was an experience we wouldn't recommend. It's a shame, because we had completely different expectations. 👎

01/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, very close to the Sila Mountains, with the option of a lovely walk along two marked trails through the wild Sila nature. Delicious food with homemade products at a reasonable price, accompanied by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Top

19/09/2025: Finally, a proper pizza! ​I was tired of all those "prophetic" pizzerias that serve you dough that's risen for 38, 50, 60, or 3,000 hours, with sourdough starters created by my great-grandmother, high hydration, and blah blah blah. They make you feel like an ignoramus, while inflating the prices to absurd levels. ​Then, luckily, I stumbled upon this PIZZERIA. And what can I say, it was a real surprise. The service is exceptional, fast but unhurried, and the pizza... simply delicious, no words can do it justice. ​The real surprise was the bill: a very fair price, almost incredibly low, especially when compared to those pizzerias that boast of being "excellent" and charge an arm and a leg. This pizzeria beat almost them all. In my opinion, the two pizza chefs deserve a statue!

18/10/2025: Anyone who has never eaten fish can say it's fresh... everything frozen, appetizers without salt, fish canapés soaked and devoid of any fishy flavor, endless concoctions and a complete spectacle to behold. Lobster linguine with a cream mixture that hides the flavor of the frozen lobster.

11/10/2025: It’s very pretty and the food is ok but the service quality is very poor; it takes ages to get anything, and there’s no lock on the toilet door AND staff just don’t pay attention so you have to yell at other customers not to come in when you’re in there. I don’t recommend it, there are other better places on the same street.

31/08/2025: We spent a few days at this hotel. The atmosphere and location are wonderful, with a wonderful view of the sea and beach. The Calabrian cuisine is highly praised for its quality and portion sizes, everything is fresh and tasty, served by very friendly and helpful staff. If anyone wants to spend a peaceful time in a truly Italian atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

06/10/2025: We had an all-around excellent lunch. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant owners. We felt very comfortable, and the food was excellent. You can see that in the photos. A top-notch place, reservations are recommended. We'll be back next year when we're in Scilla. Thank you!

29/09/2025: Raw fish starter was the best - oysters, red prawns, sworsfish carpaccio and crawfish were fresh and tasty. Pasta on the other hand was on the mediocre side. Ravioli and rissoto felt like something i could have made myself on a workday.

My partner and I were greeted at closing time, refreshed with two huge sandwiches, and without paying, he offered to take his car too...an angel on earth!! That evening, we returned to the restaurant, and I also discovered he was a fantastic chef. Prime meat cooked to perfection. I will gladly return to Messina, not only for the excellent food but also to meet a truly special person again. You managed to turn a disaster into a wonderful experience. Thank you, Vincenzo.
