15/03/2026: Carefully following the owner's directions, given that the restaurant is located in a unique spot on Strada Statale 106, in the blazing August sun we arrived at what we might call a step back in time: an ancient olive mill that even centuries ago could and did provide refreshments to customers waiting to take home the oil from their own olives. The cool, air-conditioned space, divided into two spacious rooms, is steeped in the history of simple times gone by, yet still distinctive, like its cuisine, its sumptuous dishes, its house specialties, the varied home-cooked menu, the enormous fireplace, and the kind and attentive wait staff. We left the restaurant as if we had stepped out of a museum of Catanzaro cuisine, calm, full, and satisfied.

27/02/2026: I agree with the positive reviews from many other users. The place is welcoming and the staff is friendly and helpful. The quality of the food is unquestionable. Excellent value for money. It's now a must-visit for me when I'm traveling to or from Catanzaro.

06/04/2026: 1-It's not a place like in the photos. 2-Unfriendly staff. And I'll tell you why: I don't eat everything, so I asked for a children's menu consisting of pasta with simple sauce and cutlet, but they refused. In fact, they forced me to order the food from the set menu. The appetizers started arriving right away, and it was as if they had them ready because they arrived right away as soon as we sat down. After the first courses, we got up and left.

28/02/2026: We ordered the tasting menu for €38 and it was an experience beyond our expectations. Dishes were meticulously crafted with top-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. We went in fearful of spending a fortune, but instead, we've never spent so little at a seafood restaurant by the sea. Compliments also to the waiter who served us. Highly recommended.

27/04/2026: Surrounded by greenery, this is the perfect place to enjoy excellent gelato with your family (as well as other products whose quality you'll surely appreciate). Located in the heart of the Sila National Park, with a view that extends directly to Lake Cecita every time we come to spend a different afternoon, time here is a pleasant experience. Ideal for families or groups with children, as the place has a large play area where little ones can play safely. A quiet spot, highly recommended.

Expertise, kindness, cleanliness, and meticulous attention to detail are just some of its distinguishing features, but above all, the excellent quality of the products used in the dishes, expertly prepared by chef Franco, stands out. The attentive eye of manager Mario and maitre d' Enzo ensure that guests feel pampered and satisfied. I highly recommend trying the fish specialties. Excellent value.

The appetizer is something that stays in your mind (and heart): plentiful, varied, full of authentic flavors. It's one of those places that's worth the visit alone, as it takes you on a complete journey between seafood and tradition. But the real magic comes with the salmon tartare: simply sublime. Fresh, delicate, perfectly balanced... one of those dishes that makes you close your eyes at the first bite. All this is accompanied by friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel at ease from the first moment. A restaurant where you eat truly well, without compromise. One of those places you'll gladly return to, knowing it won't disappoint.

20/09/2025: A bar with a stunning view, a very well-kept location. You can also rent umbrellas and loungers, otherwise it's a free beach. The lunch menu features fabulous fish sandwiches (check out the photos on Instagram for a treat), of which I recommend the swordfish + dried tomatoes or the octopus + stracciatella. The quality of the ingredients is fresh, and the combination of flavors is very delicate. They also offer tartare and fried fish. While I have absolutely no complaints about the quality-price ratio of the food (although perhaps the only high one is the tuna tartare), I think the service charge and lounger/umbrella rental fee should be reviewed (at the nearby beach clubs, which are exclusively equipped, the cost is 10 euros). But this is truly a minor flaw in a genuine setting, with helpful and welcoming staff, on a stretch of coastline that rivals the Caribbean Sea!

18/09/2025: Lido Oltremare is a true gem by the sea! 🌊 The food is simply incredible: from the freshest fish sandwiches to the flavorful friselle, to the truly surprising pinza. Each dish exudes the care and attention paid to the selection of ingredients, all of which are of excellent quality. The staff is always courteous and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. The prices are also truly fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the products offered. A place that combines good food, hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere: highly recommended!
