The staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Tropea, enjoy the town, the crystal-clear waters, and stay in an oasis of peace. Recommended for both families and couples. Book now—you won't regret it!

19/08/2025: The restaurant is an excellent choice for those who love authentic flavors, especially Tropea onions, the star of a richly varied appetizer and two first courses, one of which can easily be veganized by omitting the pecorino cheese without sacrificing flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to every need, and the owner was particularly thoughtful, bringing me freshly picked figs after noticing my interest in the ones next to the cake. The location is welcoming and well-kept, and the dishes are refined and flavorful. The experience was very positive and delicious, although the price was high, commensurate with the quality and attentiveness of the service.

26/10/2025: We went to this place for the first time today... new, very welcoming and well-kept... very kind staff and above all excellent food... for my celiac son everything was excellent... in fact they prepared delicious potato croquettes for him on the spot... top desserts... highly recommended and we will be back soon

04/02/2026: Authentic, yet contemporary, local cuisine. The half-portion offering allows for extremely fun service, allowing groups to sample a good portion of the menu without feeling too full. I highly recommend this place! They're also pet-friendly and super accommodating.

20/10/2025: We chose Palia's Hotel as a strategic base for exploring Calabria's parks by bike, and it was a great choice. Ample parking, including a covered car park, a private garage for bicycles (with tools for minor maintenance available), comfortable and clean rooms, and the kindness and enthusiasm of Roberto (the owner), who, along with his wife (an excellent pastry chef), recommended and prepared superb breakfasts for us, making themselves available for any needs we had. It's a shame they no longer have a restaurant, but the bar is well-stocked, and there's a large display of excellent local products you can purchase to create a wonderful memory of these beautiful lands. Thanks again.

22/01/2026: Our visit to Osteria San Francesco on June 8th, 2025, was a wonderful experience. Francesco welcomed us warmly and offered us seats on the terrace. I had the impression he was a little surprised that we wanted to eat there with 10 people. He immediately called his brother Massimo, who prepared the kitchen. Several other helpers also arrived to assist Massimo with the cooking. The Osteria is somewhat hidden away on a small, steeply rising road. The dining rooms aren't very large, but there's also a grotto, a room carved directly into the mountainside. Francesco and Massimo are very friendly and they made our evening truly enjoyable. The food, prepared by Massimo, was excellent. It's safe to say that the Osteria team knows how to cook. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely return.

31/01/2026: A super positive first experience 😍 They gave me a coupon for a full meal and a drink. I chose beef carpaccio with avocado and pumpkin, with toasted whole grain bread and berry-infused water. Since I couldn't enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the dining room, they prepared everything for me to take away with immense care, kindness, and helpfulness. While waiting, I browsed through the horoscope books at the entrance... a pleasant read! The quality of the food is also excellent, and the mix of flavors is truly spectacular. Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: A wonderful discovery, a very refined venue that stands out from the crowd, with a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, and attention to every detail. Ideal for a moment of absolute relaxation, leave everything in the room with flowers. The breakfast menu is super original, tasteful, and high-quality. The drinks are excellent. Highly recommended. Prices are above average, but it's worth it.

26/01/2026: We visited Hops, a meat restaurant, and were immediately greeted warmly by both the owner and the waitress, both kind and helpful. They carefully explained all the dishes on the menu and, appreciably, the condition of the meat offered. We were clearly told that the type of meat available hadn't yet completed the normal aging process and should have been kept fresh longer. Even though we knew they weren't offering meat at its peak, it was still available on the menu. My husband and daughter found the meat to be decent, while I was personally a bit disappointed, especially considering the price we paid. The selection is certainly wide, with many types of meat to choose from, and that's a plus for the restaurant. However, if the owner is aware that they don't have meat at the right maturation or temperature, I think they shouldn't offer it anyway, especially considering the location of the restaurant. Overall, I'd recommend it, but personally, I don't think I'd return.

13/09/2025: The employee, Davide Muoio, displays the menus in a deceptive manner when ordering. I asked for traditional fries, without the added fondue or anything else, and my receipt included four packets of ketchup and mayonnaise, for a total of €1.20 more. The problem isn't the negligible extra charge, but rather the way he's fooling the customer. I reported the matter to the person in charge, who justified his actions by saying he'd offered me three different options: fries with fondue, with bacon, or classic fries with the added sauces. That's the problem! I wanted traditional fries, without sauces, so he should have offered a fourth option as well… A chain this successful can't afford these low-profile games.

13/09/2025: I was traveling and when I saw the sign (mi'Ndujo), it caught my eye, and out of curiosity, I decided to stop in, without anyone having told me about it or having read any reviews. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the sandwiches were delicious, so I recommend it, and when I come back, I'll definitely stop in again. 😉
