03/03/2026: A nice, quiet restaurant where I had a great time. The food was very good. I had pasta with chickpeas and meatloaf, and they were excellent. The service was efficient, and the staff were very kind and friendly. Overall, a restaurant I recommend.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate New Year's Eve with my partner and friends.
I must say it was a wonderful experience: the venue was very elegant, the staff were polite and friendly, and the food was well-cooked and carefully presented on the plate.
It's definitely a high-end restaurant, so I'd suggest white gloves for the waiters to further enhance its luxury, and I'd suggest playing some background music during dinner. But these are just suggestions; honestly, I have no complaints, and I'll gladly return.
23/10/2025: Food is indeed interesting, some meals were not my cup of tea but a nice experience. Getting the bill took quite some time. They had a problem and apparently had to write everything by hand, didn’t receive a real bill. Strange is that they made a mistake with the bill and they “calculated” the amount with 28€ more on top. I usually never check but decided to do this time. Keep this in mind and check your bill when you go there.

08/08/2025: A restaurant where the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are generous and the desserts are delicious. If you're lucky enough to be in Corleto, a visit to this restaurant is a must, especially at night with the beautiful views from the terrace.

The fried chicken is simply special: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, prepared with care and flavor just like in days gone by. Generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a genuine feel that makes you feel right at home. A place you'll always want to return to.
04/03/2026: Excellent food, a place worth visiting for its decades-old tradition.
We enjoyed the excellent strascinat with broccoli, cod, and kraut peppers, and we couldn't miss the traditional chicken frish-tak.
Recommended.

17/02/2026: My partner and I spent a couple of nights here while visiting Matera.
The property is family-run and staffed by kind and professional people, who also provided us with useful information about visiting the city.
The room was well-appointed with a desk and refrigerator. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we could easily adjust the temperature (we didn't experience any problems with cold, humidity, or mold, as I've read in other reviews).
The breakfast (we requested vegan breakfast in advance) was delicious, and we also appreciated the variety of organic products.
I recommend it both for its location in the center of the Sassi of Matera and because the experience of sleeping in a cave is a must!
21/01/2026: The rooms are quaint and typical of the area. Each room tells a story of who once lived there. For those who are used to it, there's no TV in these rooms—at least mine! Which makes everything more authentic.

25/02/2026: If you come here for pizza, there are at least two important things to note:
First, the pizza is bigger than the plate, so the takeout pizza fills the entire box. Second, the pizza is made with quality ingredients and an abundance of ingredients. The pizzas are truly full and loaded with every topping you ask for. A welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in every way. The panzerotti are excellent, as is all the fried food, and what can I say about the kebab, truly tasty? There's nothing more to say, everything is truly excellent, thanks to the mastery of many years of experience in this sector.
