23/02/2025: For Valentine's Day dinner we choose to discover this place, never the right choice, with live music to accompany the evening. When you bring dishes with few ingredients to the table you take risks but here the chef knows what he's doing; starting with the marinated salmon (fresh, not from the bag), continuing with the Genoese cod (fantastic quality, tenacious and tasty fish) up to the dessert, as simple as it is tasty. Young staff in the dining room, trained and polite. Congratulations on your Business!

01/02/2025: Consigliati da un nostro amico locale, siamo arrivati in questo meraviglioso posto. Ottima accoglienza in un’ambiente caldo e piacevole agli occhi. Solitamente non approvo i menu fissi, ma non è stato questo il caso. Antipasti genuini e molto gustosi. Pietanze con prodotti di stagione. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Tutto molto bello e soprattutto buono. Grazie!

29/12/2024: Continua excelente com um maravilhoso atendimento. Culinária típica de Trecchina. É tipo uma rodada que inclui antepasto, primo prato, segundo prato e sobremesa e ainda incluem o vinho da casa. A vista é maravilhosa!

11/07/2025: Consigliato da amici andiamo alla scoperta di questo ristorante in quanto cercavamo delle pietanze tipiche locali, che riportassero ai sapori di una volta, quelli della cucina tradizionale, tramandata ma rivisitata in chiave moderna. Locale accogliente e ben curato, personale cortese e fiero di spiegare il piatto, materia prima.di ottima qualità e bontà indiscutibile. Sui dessert, "il Cestino del Barisano" vale di nuovo una visita al locale. Complimenti e buona strada.

25/06/2025: Exceptionnel ! Plats goûteux dans la pure tradition de Matera. Accueil chaleureux, service impeccable, fraîcheur de la salle intérieure troglodyte très appréciée par jour de canicule (et sinon il existe aussi une jolie terrasse ombragée). Mention spéciale pour le dessert (photo) typique de Matera : le Cestino del Barisano : une mousse de ricotta légère et pas trop sucrée, avec purée de fruits frais et amandes grillées, dans une pâte croustillante, c’est à tomber par terre …

08/07/2025: A SHAME! I went in to get 4 ice creams to consume inside, asking for 3 HALF glasses of water for two adults and a 7-year-old child... At the cashier I was scolded by the owner with a very angry face saying that she pays for water and if we wanted to drink we had to buy a bottle of water in front of other customers, I'm speechless! I will never set foot in this place again! For a 12 euro drink 3 half glasses of water I was treated this way! Shameful! 4 customers lost!

26/08/2025: Strategically located for a lunch break without too much of a detour. Beautiful views, excellent home-cooked food. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and helpful. Lagane and chickpeas with cruschi peppers... a real treat! Highly recommended.

22/08/2025: The only real flaw with this restaurant is that there's only one road to get there: the Basentana! Otherwise, Lucanian cuisine is always a guarantee.

20/05/2025: IL posto lascia presagire che ci si imbatte in un luogo con una grande cultura culinaria, ma poi si capisce che non è altro che l ennesimo luogo per turisti inconsapevoli di cosa sia il buon cibo. Salumi di bassa fattura, primi buttati a caso solo un secondo accettabile il cinghiale cotto bene, ma sicuramente non al finocchietto selvatico. Servizio così cosi, un po troppo ironico il cameriere. La pulizia bhe...lasciamo perdere. Peccato perché il territorio offre molto e la struttura è caratteristica

20/05/2025: Siamo stati qui per un week end, si respira aria di tranquillità, personale gentile e disposto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze ! Colazione e cena ottime ,camere un po antiche ma tutto sommato pulite , insomma tutto tenuto bene. Grazie

29/07/2025: Pessima esperienza in un ambiente trascuratissimo, con prezzi alle stelle ma qualità di livello Fastfood. Cameriera che propone solo i piatti più costosi ma che poi ti portano delle porzioni ridicole con pochissima carne/pesce e un sacco di patate surgelate.

15/08/2025: The atmosphere and location were very nice, as were the staff and the service, which was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Many dishes were sold out (the tripe and the fusilli). The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses also included other dishes (all potato-based): stewed fava beans, cruschi peppers, followed by cavatelli with cherry tomatoes and ricotta cheese, and cavatelli with breadcrumbs. The pasta was overcooked and I think precooked. It must have been a bad day. The prices are absolutely not high.
