A restaurant with an authentic, family-style feel, where true tradition reigns supreme. The fried chicken is simply special: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, prepared with care and flavor just like in days gone by. Generous portions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a genuine feel that makes you feel right at home. A place you'll always want to return to.

Excellent food, a place worth visiting for its decades-old tradition. We enjoyed the excellent strascinat with broccoli, cod, and kraut peppers, and we couldn't miss the traditional chicken frish-tak. Recommended.

The quality-price ratio is just like it used to be. Everything is authentic and tasty...at low prices...go there, you'll be fine. Let them advise you.

The atmosphere is very '80s, but it's one of those traditional places that remains alive and well, without too many frills, but probably never modernized, and perhaps that's one of its characteristics. From appetizers to main courses, including first courses...homemade cuisine with various recipes featuring cod, a staple in the Avigliano area. Everyone is very friendly, the price is fair, the house wine is very good, but one negative is the menu, which was presented verbally by the waiter with a bit of clarity. Clear explanations would probably have encouraged us to try other dishes, but even though the waiter was very kind, we couldn't quite understand what he was saying. Without a menu, the final price is a surprise, but there are no unpleasant surprises because the price is truly fair. It's still a place worth trying, especially since it's one of the few open on Mondays.

Ristorante La Tana

11/10/2025: We stayed at Borgo la Tana during the two central weeks of August. The property is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and spacious rooms—ours, a mini-apartment—with a small table and chairs outside to enjoy the cool evening breeze. The rooms are extremely clean and practical, equipped with drying racks, handy soap dispensers for both shower and hand soap, and a wall-mounted hairdryer. The entire staff was very friendly, from the cleaning ladies, always ready with a smile and ready to "fix" the mess on the beach, like sand and pebbles everywhere, to the waiters, who were also present but not pushy. The cuisine is varied, with both local and non-local meat and fish dishes, and there is a discreet and efficient restaurant manager who oversees the main meals. The property's true treasure, however, is Mr. Aldo, a man in love with his homeland, provided us with information on the main beaches to visit and any special offers available at the resorts, right from the first evening. He also provided pocket-sized brochures to take with us to reach our desired destinations. Finally, a special mention for the self-service breakfast we enjoyed every morning: homemade cakes, traditional pastries, fresh figs picked every morning, and honeycomb! I can't wait to return ❤️🌺 Francesca
23/09/2025: We arrived as guests for a few nights. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the air conditioning worked well. On the first evening, we enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was tidy and the service very friendly. For us, it was very bright, which perhaps made the atmosphere a little less romantic. You can clearly see what you're eating. Both the tuna and the swordfish were overcooked and dry, but that might be due to the Southern Italian way of preparing them. For hotel guests, there's a breakfast buffet next to the pool. When we arrived, we thought it was a sandwich shop, but you can point to what you want and it's brought to you. Again, the service was very friendly. Swimming caps were required for the pool, an old Italian tradition we've encountered less and less frequently, this year only at Borgo La Tana.
