18/08/2024: A bit strange in terms of welcome and large pastry shop on display but there are no filled croissants as well as cream bombs... just ask for them and they fill them in the back: everything is really very good, a real secret bar in the port of Pescara
17/08/2024: Great place to have a good breakfast, both sweet and savory. The pastas were delicious, the place was cute and the staff were very kind! The prices are perfectly in line with the quality offered.

26/08/2024: Very well looked after place, trained staff but very detached from the customer.... The food, although of high quality, was cooked in a manner that was unsuitable for the location (overcooked and inedible meat). Having alerted the dining room staff to the problem, they did not do anything to resolve the problem. Unfortunately the bill was produced in a normal manner as if everything was perfect...
26/08/2024: Place with an amazing location, it's a shame that the cooking of the meat left a lot to be desired, a place like this managed by barbecue professionals must be undermined by a cooking that is not suited to the place so sponsored, also after having informed the subordinates of the uncooked meat to perfection, they didn't do their best to remedy the problem... having a product with such quality and cooking it with such superficiality is a crime... on top of all this, at the end of the evening the bill was much saltier than all the food... not you play with professionalism...

20/08/2024: A few steps from the central street, and in an excellent position on the Pescara seafront, rich, fresh and excellent quality dishes.
The costs are also low.
Even though we arrived after 2pm, we were welcomed without any problems... A big applause for the service!
19/08/2024: In front of via trilussa a stone's throw from the Cascella ship, the establishment and the restaurant are nice, I also like the beach although unless you take the palm trees in the front row the umbrellas where I got them (half the beach) are a a little suffocating in the hottest hours, the round red pizzas are good, another flaw of the structure is the lack of a bar for the beach, it remains uncomfortable every time to enter the restaurant practically in a bathing suit and have an ice cream or a drink at the bar.

13/08/2024: Yesterday my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of eating in this restaurant, the food was really very good, the only flaw was the service. Difficulty of the waiter in making himself understood, extreme slowness even though the place was not full and the thing that surprised us was how we were credited with two bottles of water even though we had only ordered one, which we barely received after asking more times the latter. Apart from that, highly recommended for the food, kebabs that melted in your mouth and really good sandwiches. Tiramisu with pandistelle not recommended as it does not have any characteristics of a tiramisu as it is practically made with only cream and biscuits unlike the warm heart cake which was exceptional. The service needs to be reviewed
02/08/2024: A small "hole in the wall" that serves traditional Abruzzese fair. The ambiance is relaxed. They have both indoor and outdoor patio seating.
Food was made to order and fresh. Service took a little bit, but it is to be expected in Italy.
Pricing was very fair. It was just over 21€ for my meal and that includes a litre of water and a glass of local rose wine.

If you're lucky and get it hot you've made a 6!!!!
Then don't forget the aperitif and focaccia 💪💪💪💪
16/08/2024: Everything was delicious, all the cured meats explained, perfect and tasty. The focaccia and aubergine parmiggiana are very special. What I would change is that there isn't a fan when it's very hot and you would be grateful to have it. And the service was a little slow. The rest was very special and we will be back!

12/03/2024: Tornato qui dopo anni.... purtroppo e' stata una delusione, gli antipasti sufficienti... ma con i primi non ci siamo proprio: chitarrina completamente scotta e condimento a dir poco industriale. Carne buona. Diciamo che siamo rimasti delusi soprattutto dal fatto che i funghi, che dovrebbero i protagonisti di antipasti e primi non avevano sapore onerano coperti totalmente dalla salsa al tartufo in barattolo

23/08/2023: Though the food was nice enough, the environmental cost of their setup is, in this day and age, is frankly heartbreaking. So much single use plastic! I don't see why someone can't be employed to wash dishes with the money saved on disposable containers and waste disposal. In a climate crisis, I find this totally unacceptable.
The woman from whom you order was friendly.
The self-service element doesn't work for a full meal - we got all our courses at once and our main course went cold while we are our starters. Also, the antipasti portions were small.
It was quite expensive for what it was.
In summary, you can eat better, for less, off actual plates with metal cutlery at many places in the local area.

11/08/2024: I primi e i secondi sono ottimi, Purtroppo le portate per gli antipasti sono piccole. Il servizio è troppo lento. Pertanto si rischia di stare seduti per ore.

17/06/2024: Buonasera scrivo questa recensione a malincuore e dopo averci riflettuto parecchio perché non amo scriverne di negative. Premesso che conosco il ristorante big mama da quando era a penne che sono stato più volte nella nuova location ma questa volta sono stato molto deluso non per il cibo ma per altro.. il 12 giugno con un gruppo di colleghi di 8 persone più una bimba di 9 anni che ha mangiato solo 5 arrosticini e una frittelle a forse,ordiniamo in 8 6 antipasti completi (non per 8 ma per 6 per non abbuffarci e questa è stata ina nostra richiesta) 3 ravioli al ragù e tre mugnaie con la zucca e di secondo 5 o 6 arrosti misti non ricordo di preciso e una trentina di arrosticini..vino della casa acqua 2 bottiglie di birra 1 bottiglietta di Fanta caffè e amari.. dimenticavo una bottiglia fi prosecco..a fine cena chiediamo il conto e sorpresona abbiamo pagato 46 euro a testa e aggiungerei pazzesco.. dico una cosa se in 8 mangiando per 6 abbiamo pagato questa cifra mangiando per 8 quanto avremmo pagato? Mi è sembrato un po' tanto esagerato per quanto mangiato e soprattutto per la tipologia di cucina e di locale che ripeto conosco molto bene ed ho frequentato e consigliato a diversi amici e colleghi anche di fuori. Se c'è stato un errore va bene e pazienza si può sbagliare ed abbiamo sbagliato soprattutto noi a non controllare bene ma se questi sono i prezzi mi spiace non ci siamo e non ci andrò più né tantomeno lo consiglierò anche perché in zona ci sono ristoranti dello stesso livello se non di livello superiore dove si paga molto meno..
27/05/2024: Grazie a Big Mama!!!! Veramente siamo molto felici che abbiamo festeggiato La Prima Comunione della nostra figlia a questo locale! Si mangia molto buono, il personale molto disponibile e preparato, la titolare molto attenta e disponibile!!! Davvero grazie!!!!
