21/04/2025: Reading the reviews, one could only have positive expectations for an Easter lunch, but instead... We start from the welcome aperitif, bubbles and fried gnocco with chickpea humus, very good. We sit at the table and a single dish arrives with small slices of 3 cheeses, a slice of ham (dry), a fried artichoke, the only good thing, I think a baked mushroom and nothing more... this is the end of the appetizer... now begins the long wait for the first courses, at least 1 hour for the first arrival, Tacconi in broth with vegetables, placed in the center of the table, well all broth, pasta not received for 8 people at the table, it seemed like the division of goods, another first course, another hour of waiting, 2 agnolotti arrive on the cross with grilled vegetables on top, the egg as sauce was spotted but not received! another hour of waiting and we arrive at 4.30pm, baked lamb with potato, my photo says it all...decent lamb, potatoes counted twice as hyper salty, salad for the whole table two paltry dishes, veil also pitiful for the dessert, slices of Easter pupa...decent house wine at the modest sum of 55 euros, so much for the farm (luckily they paid for my lunch). There wasn't one thing about the food that I could think of, well this is good and has flavour, I replaced my stomach with bread and homemade oil which was very good! Let's move on to the very nice structure, but on the outside a bit of deterioration was what catches the eye, the children's games aside in a clear state of abandonment installed in a steep terrain (no sense) animals not received, cultivation of various vegetables not received (maybe they have them elsewhere) service given that we finished getting up from the table at 5.15pm to review... given that it was a menu, therefore unjustified expectations... Negative experience for us..

02/06/2025: Intrigued by the photos of the location overlooking the sea, I booked a table, I couldn't have made a worse choice. Terrible quality food, between the appetizer and the next course we waited an hour and a half. Tasteless appetizer, cuttlefish with peppers that were literally plastic, stuffed mussels that had nothing to do with mussels, not to mention the pasta with tomato sauce ordered for my one-year-old son, the sauce had a horrible burnt taste (obviously the child didn't eat it) The worst €72 spent in my life.

15/05/2025: to say terrible is a compliment, I went to work there some time ago and for 8 hours of work they paid me only 25 EURO, I repeat 25 euros, then they wonder why there are no waiters in Italy, look at the situation. Same thing for my friend 9-10 hours of work maximum 25-30 euros, starvation I hope he fails. In addition to the fact that they treated me very badly and to eat a piece of chicken.

19/04/2025: Evening in Lanciano for the Easter Good Friday procession, you don't know where to go to eat and you come across the Il Chiostro restaurant. Truly a great discovery! Excellent and good quality food! The girl's service, always with a smile, to be rewarded! The prices are very honest, with 2 courses each, house wine and water we didn't reach 85 Eur. The only flaw was that since the place was full and we had so many paellas that evening, we waited a little longer to eat. But it was worth it! Compliments!!

22/09/2024: Non si può aspettare tra una portata e l'altra più di un'ora,per poi sentirsi dire che sono finiti i calamari...prima e ultima volta che vengo in questo locale.

08/09/2024: Location suggestiva, curata e ed estremamente pulita. Mangiare a dieci metri dal mare è davvero cosa non da poco. Personale professionale, cortese ed empatico. Materie prime di eccellente qualità e preparate con maestrìa. Semplice ma molto bella la presentazione dei piatti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci torneremo al più presto. Consigliatissimo!

20/05/2025: April 19, 2025. We just returned from dinner at "Caruso" and I must say that the quality of all the meat courses is excellent. The only flaw, the service. Not because it lacked attention, but a little "smart". After dinner, the waiter came to the table asking if we would like a bitter or a spirit, so I allowed myself to ask for a specific brandy that unfortunately they do not have, so we preferred to give up. After 10 minutes, the same waiter came to the table with the liquor trolley saying that he would offer and let us taste a rum and a particular bitter. With a little embarrassment, given our previous decision, we accepted, only to find in the bill what was presented to us as offered. Without batting an eyelid I paid the bill, only to find a "NON FISCAL" receipt! As per the attached photo.

07/12/2024: Invitato ad una cena di 80 persone temevo le solite carenze nel servizio e nella confezione delle pietanze. Niente di tutto questo, cibo casareccio cucinato ad arte, personale impeccabile, conto più che adeguato, una vera sorpresa positiva!

18/11/2024: Da Ida si fa' sempre centro. Se amate la tradizione in cucina, qui andate sul sicuro, pasta fresca, sugo da manuale e carne ai ferri, come non se ne preparano più. Sono stata per lavoro in compagnia con dei clienti cinesi, si sono leccati il piatto. Proferivano solo parole del tipo: ' wonderful dinner' , ' so tasty' etc! Io non parlavo per che assorta dai sensi. Consigliatissimo!!!

25/05/2025: We were there today before returning to Rome, the owners were very kind in trying to accommodate us because my brother-in-law who is allergic to nuts ate everything, we too were very good food, very good and abundant dishes, thank you, we will return
