20/05/2025: I stopped for a quick and improvised lunch break with a colleague, both for the first time in this pizzeria, immediately surprised by the vast choice, we tasted different pizzas and a sandwich with stracotto, excellent pizza crunchy underneath and soft on top, very high quality of the toppings, the girl at the counter very kind and helpful ... really satisfied we will definitely return every time we pass through the area

23/02/2025: Excellent pizza and delicious Roman-style supplì, courteous and competent staff. During the Christmas period they made an excellent initiative, offering all customers a gift bag to open after the holidays and directly in the pizzeria, commendable...!!

16/03/2025: Very positive experience. Mr. Piero is very kind and attentive to welcoming and satisfying customers. He gives lots of advice on places to visit. Meals cooked very well indeed. Basic sweet breakfast, with homemade cakes, but if there had been a need we could have requested the savory one. Nice rooms, a little old but if you don't have any demands they're fine. Hot water, or rather very hot to take a shower ☺️

19/05/2025: During our trip to Chieti, we were lucky enough to discover Ristorante da Franco, and it was undoubtedly one of the most memorable experiences of our journey in Italy. We were welcomed with warm hospitality by the owner, his daughter and his granddaughter — kind and smiling people who made us feel part of the family from the first moment. The food was extraordinary: typical dishes of the area, prepared with so much love, with that authentic taste of home cooking. Every bite seemed to tell a story, a tradition. It was the best meal we had in all of Italy — not only for the taste, but for the affection with which everything was offered to us. The environment is welcoming, simple and authentic. You don't go here just to eat, but to live an experience of human warmth and connection with the soul of Chieti. We recommend it with all our heart!

12/03/2025: Passing through the historic center of L'Aquila at 9 in the morning, I decided to stop in a place with the artistic name ART CAFFÈ. As soon as I entered, I immediately noticed a messy environment (euphemism), with a poorly maintained workbench, not up to the standard of a bar. I still wanted to give the place a chance and ordered a coffee. When it arrived, served in a large cup, I immediately noticed something strange: the sugar sank in instantly, leaving no trace. When stirring, the consistency seemed watery and creamless. At the first sip, every doubt was confirmed. After paying one euro, I left without looking back.

05/06/2025: Il pranzo in questo ristorante, trovato per caso, è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Il titolare, gentile, accogliente, simpatico, ci ha presentato pasta fatta in casa, con un dolcissimo sugo di pomodoro e piccole polpette. Offerti dalla casa, bruschette di pane casereccio, per cominciare, e crema di cioccolato bianco e vaniglia con cantucci, per concludere. Prezzo super onesto. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie!

12/10/2024: Nice pastry shop. Very friendly service. Good English is spoken. The cakes are very tasty and some are also vegan. The coffee is also good. Unfortunately there is only soy milk as an alternative. Price/performance fits. We'd love to come back.

07/05/2025: La sensazione che ho avuto entrando qui è che il tempo non sia mai passato. I profumi, gli odori, ogni minimo dettaglio riporta a quella cucina sana , quella dei contadini, la cucina 'della nonna'. I piatti gustosi e tutto coltivato e fatto da loro. Solo con gli antipasti e il vino eravamo sazi. Ho apprezzato anche l'olio di loro produzione da assaggiare con il pane. Staff educato e solare. Il prezzo una fesseria per tutto ciò che abbiamo assaggiato. Gli animali fanno da cornice a questo mondo naturale. Ritornerò sicuramente e sto già sponsorizzando .. un abbraccio dal vicino molise

03/03/2025: Una piacevole serata presso questo agriturismo per noi la prima volta. Devo dire siamo stati soddisfatti tutto buono e piacevole ecco se devo trovare una piccola critica i primi , rintrocili e tacconetti in bianca un po slegati come sapori ma la pasta fatta in cassa era ottima. Vino e antipasti e carne arrosto eccellenti. Ripasseremo sicuramente. Grazie.

26/04/2025: Merita lo 0. Tavolata di 20 persone i piatti sono arrivato ad uno alla volta, dopo quasi due ore di attesa ancora dovevano arrivare più della metà delle pietanze. La ristorazione è una cosa seria.

23/04/2025: Ottima cena buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Coratella, agnello con carciofi e arrosticini super. Davvero consigliatissimo

08/02/2025: Ho preso un sacchetto di fritture: - le crocchette di patate avevano una crosta troppo doppia e dura e le patate sapevano di terra, inoltre all'interno di fiordilatte ce n'era pochissimo e non contenevano né prezzemolo, né pepe. Quelle comprate a Napoli, le originali, sono esattamente il contrario: morbide e complete, anche il formato di dimensione piccola, -le zeppoline , ovvero pezzi di pasta di pizza fritta, non erano lievitate e sono risultate piccolissime, gommose e pesanti. Le originali sono grandi e morbidissime, ancora una volta l'opposto di queste. Hanno voluto risparmiare e adeguarsi ai gusti del luogo, ma con la tradizione non si scherza: presenta sempre il conto!

02/05/2025: When you go to this restaurant, remember to call more than a few hours in advance (perhaps the day before) and ask for the "spelt pie", with saffron or mushrooms and truffles or the seasonal dressing they offer. It's an exceptional dish, too bad it's not on the menu and must be ordered. Very kind staff, very efficient.

28/04/2025: Well-prepared traditional dishes, seasonings with saffron and porcini mushrooms are particularly good and well prepared. Friendly and very helpful service, we enjoyed the Montepulciano house wine. Excellent value for money. I recommend it!!

In truth he doesn't have them at all: I've been coming from Turin for years and I always stop at his restaurant for lunch and/dinner: my guys, it's exceptional! Always fresh fish, cooked to perfection so quality and cuisine are top of the line! Trust someone who has worked in starred restaurants for over 25 years!
