29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.
25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

Sushi Gio: the best dish, followed by the rolls (especially the trio of tuna rolls).
The nigiri are good, but not exceptional and small (especially the red shrimp and sea urchin ones) considering the price.
The miso soup is very salty. Nothing like the miso soup you eat in Japan in terms of flavor and texture.
Yaki soba and hosomaki are tasty and delicate; excellent quality.
The quality of the oil is seriously low and doesn't reflect the high standards and price of the place; being in Puglia, one expects excellent quality oil; otherwise, it would be better not to use it at all to avoid muddying the flavors of the dishes.

We were here with my family. Super relaxing atmosphere... fresh fish, non-sticky rice.
The scallop and otoro nigiri were top-notch!!
The spicy salmon uramaki was a mouth-watering explosion.
The wait staff were kind and professional.
A truly rare level of politeness.

31/01/2026: Very nice location, good food, and a short wait, considering we came on a Saturday. The downside, unfortunately, is the atmosphere. Tables with more children than adults, loud noises, and confusion—it feels like McDonald's. A restaurant that aims to be of a certain standard and has a medium-high price list isn't measured solely by the quality of the food or service, but also by the approach adopted, allowing for certain situations. I hope this can be constructive criticism that helps us improve.

08/01/2026: Excellent experience at Sushi Hanami. Fresh, high-quality fish, well-prepared, and delicious dishes. Fast and excellent service, friendly and attentive staff. The owner was very kind and even offered us three cicchetti. Everything was great, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.
05/01/2026: We only came in because Poggiofranco's hanami is a guarantee. It's a shame because we waited two hours for two mediocre dishes. The fried food was stale, the fish was poor quality, and there were few specialty dishes. It's a shame because, in my opinion, it ruins the reputation of the place called "Giovanni Mazzitelli." The most frustrating thing was the wait for a dish every 20 minutes, and they didn't even bring the tartare and carpaccio, which shouldn't be cooked.

06/02/2026: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Corigliano d'Otranto. The all-you-can-eat menu is excellent, with excellent value and dishes that are both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The staff is attentive to detail, friendly, and very professional. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening with friends. I will definitely be back.

19/08/2025: The food is good, and the tables are good, but unless you have two hours available for lunch, it could be a problem. We arrived at 1 PM and ordered right afterward. The place was half empty, and we waited an hour and a half for five sushi orders. You can wait that long sitting at a table watching the waiters upstairs and downstairs bring dishes, and yours never arrives.
29/06/2025: I was really impressed by this restaurant: the sushi is very fresh, prepared with great care and presented in an elegant way. Every bite is an explosion of flavors, especially the special nigiri and uramaki, absolutely worth trying!
The staff is kind, helpful and attentive, without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is relaxing and refined, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the fish and the variety of the menu. I will definitely be back!

16/06/2025: I have been going to the restaurant for several years, which I have always found very satisfying, both in the classic all you can eat and in takeaway and home delivery, we have always had a great time. Last week we returned with friends and we noticed a very notable drop in the quality of the raw materials and preparations, which have changed since the last time, I don't know what, if the kitchen staff or the quality of the product, but we were all very very disappointed, so much so that we did not finish several dishes ordered, which did not find our liking at all. Too bad, because, I repeat, until a few months ago we always had a good time. I hope they return to the past.

01/02/2026: It's a shame that the Kaorino cocktail bar isn't a standalone review (only the restaurant is listed here), because it deserves its own review.
A very refined location, an intimate and private atmosphere, and well-crafted cocktails.
The only thing I can't justify is the €3 cover charge per person: we dined at the bar, with no table service and not even water included.
In other cities or abroad, similar service is accompanied by tangible elements (filtered water, welcome snacks, table setting).
A pleasant experience, but this detail completely clashes with the quality of the concept.

The wait times are minimal, and the service is always attentive and friendly.
You're truly well done, because you're excellent chefs and fantastic company: the food is good and you feel right at home.
Compliments to all the staff, we'll definitely be back.
