19/08/2025: Second time at Ichikawa for the master's omakase, and once again it did not disappoint. A complete, refined, and relaxed experience: more than just a dinner, it was a true experience. Memorable dishes like the wagyu shabu-shabu, the belly sashimi, and the various pieces of sushi served directly by the master's hands. The service was perfectly timed, and the owner was able to guide you throughout the dinner with warmth and great expertise. The price was in line with excellent standards. Try it, you won't regret it.

09/08/2025: I took my wife for our wedding anniversary. I had a tasting at the bar and a unique sake. Everything was perfect, delicious, and plentiful. You pay, but for once, you leave having had a real experience. Plus, the chef and the partner made us feel special. We toasted together, and they prepared a birthday platter for us.

05/03/2026: I was there before they closed for the holidays. Beautiful and well-kept place, interesting dishes with a mix of ingredients and textures. For two, five courses and wine cost just under €100.00. Excellent seafood miso soup, Catalan and raw ham are superb. Parking is difficult. Always friendly service. I upgraded after the complete renovation. It's definitely improved, although the service is still a bit slow. Perhaps they're aiming for higher gastronomic achievements (Michelin). The prices have gone up, and there are many new additions to the menu. Interesting selection of wines by the glass (few but quality). Wine cellar complete with French wines. For two, four courses, one dessert, and three glasses of wine... €112.00. We upgraded: superb grilled turbot and excellent sautéed vegetables. Perfect service: €90.00 for two. As we settled in, the IZU I knew returned. Upgrade: sublime scallop tartare, both in taste and pairing, elegant presentation. Always a perfect upgrade, excellent wine selection. Several wines by the glass and great professionalism.

14/02/2026: We made a reservation, specifying over the phone that we wanted an Omakase experience. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated at a table instead of at the counter. They told me that the counter only offers a tasting menu (which they eventually let us do), so I specified that we had booked for omakase, but nothing happened. Then I asked again about the difference between tasting and omakase and was told that the restaurant doesn't do omakase, but that the person who took the reservation probably misunderstood. The tasting menu overall was very DISAPPOINTING, despite the quality of the ingredients. The dishes were completely disjointed, no experience, just different dishes brought one after the other without any explanation. Total disorganization, incorrect bill. Exorbitant price, €150 per person for a menu with very few dishes, mostly seaweed and soups. In conclusion, a complete disappointment from start to finish. In hindsight, we should have left at the beginning.

09/03/2026: At this restaurant, where we booked a table in advance, we completely entrusted ourselves to the chef, using the "omakase" approach, which involves preparing dishes and side dishes of his choosing, based on the finest ingredients available. The meal is explained in detail from the initial contact stage, and everything is then promptly prepared and delivered to the customer for consumption, resulting in a remarkable culinary experience. For us, it was such a positive experience that we booked dinner for six people the following Saturday evening. Parking is easy to find.

22/02/2026: Omakase in Japanese literally means "I entrust myself to you" or "I leave it to you." And every time, we trust Michele and his staff, who are organized and quick to serve us, allowing us to experience sensory-rich dishes made with wild, not farmed, fish (a whole new flavor!) and top-notch ingredients. If you're a fan of "all you can eat," forget it; you're missing out on authentic Japan!

28/01/2026: Everything was great: excellent food, a refined atmosphere, impeccable service. I booked through The Fork, so I also got a 30% discount, which significantly lowered the bill, which would have been moderately high.

19/02/2026: The place has been renovated and I really like it, with beautiful light wood that lightens the atmosphere. The service is truly superb. They're young, but very attentive to all requests and very kind, which I don't take for granted anymore. Everything is always delicious, and they now also do robata skewers. I tried the octopus and chicken wings, and I have to say, they're delicious. I often get takeout, but I like going in, also because it's a restaurant where dogs are welcome (mine is very good, so I'm happy to bring him). My only advice: on Wednesday evenings, after a certain hour, there's a piano bar and karaoke, which isn't exactly my cup of tea. I'll avoid Wednesdays for the sake of my eardrums.

17/03/2026: To be honest, this is a truly excellent sushi and Chinese delivery service. Lots of dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and very friendly and fast service with JustEat. The tofu is delicious. The value for money is hard to beat 💥

11/12/2025: The best dish I've eaten in 2025! The atmosphere is very immersive and evocative, with attention to every detail. They offer a great skill in offering dishes that change frequently, mostly based on home cooking. The desserts are also very interesting! They also offer a remarkable selection of cocktails that pair perfectly with the menu! I recommend the grilled udon noodles, the most delicious dish I've eaten this year! Well done!
