26/08/2025: Really very good.....I had a lobster sandwich, sushi and oysters with prosecco......nothing to say about the quality.

24/07/2025: The food is uneatable, you should use less rice and season more with fish. I've been there, the atmosphere is nice, but I only ate the rice, the fish has no flavor, no seasoning, it's all too cold. I ate the fried food, my stomach is upset, it's cold from the fridge, as soon as I went I had to leave, sorry, but zero review.

21/07/2025: The first courses aren't available on Sunday evenings, but no one called us to let us know when we booked. A disappointing experience. The tempura was greasy and heavy, and the service was terrible, with unprofessional waiters. Several times we found ourselves eating amidst the smoke from nearby tables. The tuna tartare arrived without any sauces, completely tasteless, and even after asking for more, it came back the same. I won't be returning.

21/04/2025: Basho is a true gem. Over the years, we've returned several times, never disappointed. We have, however, noticed a significant improvement. From the moment we walked in to the bill, every detail is attended to with a passion and professionalism that is clearly evident. The place is welcoming, with a refined atmosphere, but the real added value lies in the people. Special thanks to Mattia's impeccable management, who knows how to combine expertise and customer service in a rare way. It's clear how much he cares, and that truly makes the difference. Kudos also to Giovanni, professional, friendly, and attentive: his service was simply perfect, always present but never intrusive, with a courtesy that deserves to be highlighted. The menu is refined, with the freshest ingredients. We will return every time we return to Cosenza.

24/10/2025: Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. I've ordered from this place before and it's always been great, but today the spring rolls were inedible and the fish wasn't good; it didn't seem fresh.

12/09/2025: This is my go to place to order from when I’m stuck at home studying or just want something yummy. I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like, their sashimi,nigiri, and just fish in general are so soft and tasty, they’ve never let me down. It’s not crazy expensive and they usually offer promotions on apps like deliveroo and glovo that are super convenient.

18/10/2025: The conveyor belt service is very friendly, with a variety of dishes, even though some are frozen and not made by them, like the crab claws and chicken wings. The sushi is good, but the prices are a bit high. A bottle of water costs €2.50, and €16 for lunch on Saturdays at the conveyor belt stations.

07/09/2025: Terrible quality. I used to order it on Glovo until a few months ago, and everything was fine. This latest order was borderline edible. A hair in an uramaki, the soy sauce was literally acidic and darkened. The quality of the fish was truly questionable. The order arrived completely squashed, but I assume that's the delivery driver's fault, not the restaurant's. Overall, I won't order from this place again.

04/04/2025: Amazing bar with good prices! I went there for breakfast recently; two cappuccinos and two cornettos at less than €6,00. The mugs were soooo cute (I'll add a picture, please note I had already started drinking my cappuccino lol), the cappuccino was good quality, and the cornettos were amazing! The paste itself was of an excellent quality and tasted great. My boyfriend got one with a lemon cream and I got one with plain cream and a drizzle of chocolate on top, it was delicious. Great service too!! We have also been there on a bar crawl a couple of times, the staff was great. It's a shame they didn't have tequila but we had lots of fun anyways.

14/02/2025: The service was poor, absent, and disrespectful. I ordered some dishes at 8:10 and they arrived at 9:10/9:20.

26/04/2025: Amazing restaurant, recently totally renewed, decent environment and service, and sushi is excellent.

15/11/2025: There were four of us. The chalkboard outside listed spaghetti with clams and fried calamari as the daily menu; seafood tagliatelle and mixed fried fish were served at the table, without anyone bothering to inform us. When I pointed this out, the response was that they "forgot" to update the menu. Too bad that, when we left, the chalkboard was still there, identical: the attached photos speak for themselves, as do the actual dishes served. I also pointed out that changing a dish without informing us is risky for those with allergies or intolerances, but the matter was dismissed lightly. I explained that, out of politeness, I don't send dishes back. The waiter replied that he would send them back and that that wouldn't make him rude. An inappropriate comment, with an attitude that could only be described as belittling. Simply apologizing would have been enough. In short: dishes different from the daily menu, zero transparency, and a total lack of customer service. We will not return and we do not recommend relying on what is indicated on the menu of the day.

02/11/2025: As others have already written, the slowness is no small thing: it took half an hour to get the menus... then once we got going (but it was already 2:30 PM), things sped up. It's a shame, because the dining room staff was very kind; after our outdoor table was moved to the shade (November 2nd), they re-set it for us on the veranda. The fish was very good, the seafood salad truly delicate, the spaghetti with clams was inedible due to the salt that must have gotten too much into the pasta water, but the clams were delicious. When we reported the problem, they offered to remake the dish, but it was too late; they still took it off our bill. Again, it's a shame the initial slowness; perhaps they need a few more people in the kitchen or dining room?
