20/05/2025: Simply delicious, what more can I say? Very pleasant location, competent, extremely kind and affable staff, varied and very carefully prepared menu, well-selected wine list. All the gastronomic proposals are of an excellent level and the flavor combinations are artfully studied. Truly a joy for the palate! It is always a pleasure to return, for us it is becoming a regular appointment for weekend lunch. Compliments to everyone, especially to Simona who knows how to advise and guide the choice in an always effective manner and perfectly intercepting the customer's tastes.

12/05/2025: Sono tornato a provare la cucina di Kokoroya per una pausa pranzo a Torino dopo quasi dieci anni dalla mia ultima visita e che dire, mi riesce difficile descrivere le emozioni che mi ha suscitato varcare nuovamente la soglia di quel piccolo locale che ha continuato a vivere nei miei ricordi, rimasto tale e quale a come l'avevo lasciato. E non solo il locale: la cortesia dei proprietari, così come la bontà e genuinità del cibo oggetto è ancora oggi la stessa: ci si sente a casa, un piccolo angolo di realtà giapponese dove si ha la certezza di poter assaporare piatti tipici eseguiti a regola d'arte, che conservano il fascino della loro semplicità senza perdersi in troppi fronzoli. Vantaggiose come sempre le opzioni bento box, kurokke con zucca e patate sempre consigliate così come l'anguilla, da sola o accompagnata col riso in forma don. Ramen davvero gradevole, pulito nei sapori e per nulla impegnativo, si fa mangiare che è un piacere. Il locale, essendo davvero piccino, lavora molto di take-away e, per chi lo desiderasse, offre ancora la possibilità di acquistare ingredienti, vivande e quant'altro provenienti direttamente dal Giappone. Prezzi onestissimi per la qualità offerta, consiglio di provare ad effettuare almeno una volta una consumazione sul posto per godere della magia che il piccolo, grande Kokoroya è ancora in grado di sprigionare a distanza di svariati anni dall'apertura, e che sono sicuro continuerà a fare anche in futuro!

25/05/2025: I suggested your restaurant to a group of friends for a hen party. Enthusiastic about the experience of many years ago, we returned to Somo with very high expectations. I think the restaurant has changed management and we couldn't help but notice the differences. The food, staff, customer service and target customers turned out to be of a much lower level than I remembered. Even the image of the owners, although very kind, does not match the fame that this place boasted. The girls' comment was "commercial". And I certainly regret having exposed myself by suggesting your place! Somo was an explosion of design, high quality food and good wine, today it is full of teenagers, inadequate staff and out of line music throughout the course of the dinner! €65 per person for a handful of tempura, some mixed sushi and sashimi is out of the question! Obviously we won't be returning! Good luck to the owners!

30/05/2025: A small but authentic environment furnished in a contemporary way. Don't miss the minimal bathrooms with the sound of a Japanese subway. Careful and punctual service with a very prepared sommelier who led us on a tasting of Sake to pair with the chosen dishes. The food is designed for a gastronomic journey made of balances and combinations for us Westerners unusual but truly interesting. An experience to be done meditating on what you are tasting, precisely for this reason in my opinion it is not suitable for any noisy groups.

10/05/2025: Nice restaurant with impeccable service. All the dishes I tried were excellent. Obviously, expectations were very high. I rate the food 4 out of 5 only because I consider some dishes to be slightly too expensive. For example, the meat ravioli was excellent, but considering the actual amount of meat in the filling, I don't justify the price. Other dishes, however, seem more balanced compared to the cost. In any case, all with excellent quality ingredients. The environment is also pleasant. The only negative note was that every now and then there was some smell of meat on the grill. Overall, recommended and I will definitely return. Some dishes are definitely worth it.

03/05/2025: Un ambiente divertentissimo con ottimo cibo (sia sushi che hamburger) e buone birre, dove spicca la passione di Ludovica che gestisce il locale e il giovane staff con la capacità dell’oste più navigato mixata alla freschezza della compagna di classe, senza negare un cenno, un sorriso o un’attenzione anche mentre è impegnata a fare altro. La simpatia e la dolcezza pervadono l’atmosfera. Bellissimo cenare sia all’aperto che all’interno. Rapporto qualità prezzo tra gli imbattibili.

15/03/2025: I went to 18B last night for dinner, I can say that the food was excellent, I took the noodles which also have a gluten-free option, juicy, already with a portion of those I was full. Very good sushi, large selection of beers. The environment is beautiful, it feels like being in one of those places you find in Texas or along the 66 road, I will definitely go back.

01/06/2025: Elegant and clean place. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, not only classic dishes but also specialties. Pleasant instrumental background music at a very low volume. Very kind staff. Gem: the huge aquarium on the floor. Very relaxing to dine watching the carp swimming under your feet. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to.

23/04/2025: Of the dozens of sushi places I've been to in the province, this is the best one hands down. Best sushi of all, quick delivery of dishes, very friendly staff, very clean place, low prices. There are always few people because the place is small and little known so you will avoid the noise of the big sushi. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
