12/10/2025: A Corner of Palermo on a Plate! It's not easy, as a Palermitan, to find our region's authentic specialties reproduced with such excellence elsewhere. Pizzeria Super Pizza SPIV not only passes the test, but does so with flying colors! My girlfriend and I embarked on a true culinary journey through the most authentic Sicily, and every taste was a confirmation: • Pizza Sfincione: Soft, rich, and flavorful, exactly as tradition dictates. A perfect dough that forms the basis for a rich and enveloping topping. • Arancine (with Meat and Butter): Crispy on the outside and with a creamy and flavorful filling. The balance between rice and topping was impeccable. A true delight for the palate, just like the ones at home! • Fried Eggplant and Panelle Sandwich: A true masterpiece of Palermo street food. The freshness of the panelle and the softness of the fried eggplant, enclosed in a delicious bun, made this tasting unforgettable. And to top it off, the decision to take home two Sicilian Cannoli was a great one: I'm finishing mine right now and I can confirm they're fantastic! The crunchy crust and fresh, perfectly sweetened ricotta are the perfect end to an exceptional dinner. Truly everything was excellent! Special praise goes to Giuseppe and the entire staff for the passion and skill with which they bring these flavors to the table. If you're looking for authentic Sicily, look no further: Super Pizza SPIV is the place to be. We'll be back very soon! Long live Palermo and Santa Rosalia!

12/10/2025: Except for the friendly and well-intentioned young waitress, everything else needs updating: the disappointing location, resembling a bar; the cover charge, which consists of a placemat, is €2.50 per person. The preparation times for each dish vary, making it impossible to eat together. The wait time for a rice dish (not risotto, without any kind of stirring) with fish: an hour and forty minutes. The worst part? Nowhere is it indicated (except on the receipt) that dishes, if you request them gluten-free, cost an additional €1.50 by default; as if being celiac were a choice. Unacceptable. I would not recommend it.

12/09/2025: Wide variety of excellent quality food, super fast service, I love having an aperitif in the evening or even dinner, excellent value. I love going there at sunset, but keep in mind that cargo ships occasionally pass through, with pros and cons.

07/10/2025: Not your average street tavern: excellent beer and quality artisanal food. Great attention to burgers and beers, which seem to be the place's strong points, the service is spartan but not inattentive, and the atmosphere is noisy but pleasant.

27/09/2025: Excellent lunch in a central location with outdoor seating (though not many). The piadina is typical of Ravenna, thicker than the Rimini version, and it's truly delicious. Since I don't frequent the area, I don't know the average price, but we paid €7.50 for the piadina with prosciutto, squacquerone, and arugula, €6.50 for the one with just prosciutto and squacquerone, and €6 for the sweet piadina with squacquerone and caramelized figs.
