Beautiful place. Renovated covered market. Fast, friendly and good food. We took two sandwiches, one from Mora and one from vegetarian. Both were really good.

Good food market with limited seating to eat.

I went to the Ravenna Covered Market on a Saturday in September 2025 for lunch with my family, consisting of my mom, dad, two young kids, and my two brothers-in-law. The exterior already bore the impression of beauty. Upon entering, you're greeted by the sight of numerous stalls of beautifully displayed food and wine products and freshly made pasta. The cleanliness of the place is immediately striking. We stopped for lunch at the restaurant on the ground floor, where the very kind "maître d'" (maid's maitre) attracted us with a warm smile. She seated us at a beautiful, elegant wooden table with comfortable chairs. We ate only delicious traditional Romagna food and drank an excellent bottle of real local Sangiovese, all at a truly fair price. A recommended dish, not to be missed, is the freshly made gnocco fritto (fried gnocchi) with the legendary Romagna squacquerone cheese and cured meats. The waiters were kind and helpful. Unforgettable!!!

Ravenna's Covered Market no longer hosts "stalls" but some gourmet shops, bars and many opportunities to eat... from Piadina to Restaurant, from fish to meat and pizza.

The in-house sit down restaurant has gluten-free pasta, and they also made it vegan for us!

We tasted four types of fish, pizza, chicken chops, eggplant and tomatoes. Everything was very tasty.

A beautifully stocked market!! You can also find lesser-known products. A great experience to appreciate the local culture and cuisine.

I ate at the covered market twice during my visit to Ravenna. The food is delicious thanks to quality ingredients cooked professionally.
