10/07/2025: We had a delicious gelato here during our visit to the beautiful town of Castell'Arquato. The ice cream parlor is tucked away along Via Sforza Caolzio. A very friendly young woman helped us and we struck up a conversation in Italian. She also gave us a tip on where we could eat that evening with live music and a beautiful view. That's how we ended up in Vernasca, where we had a wonderful evening. In short, we love Baiocc Gelato Lovers for the excellent service...and did I mention the gelato is delicious?!

02/07/2025: This out of the way pizzeria is excellent. They obviously have committed themselves to crafting amazing pizza. Excellent dough is the foundation for every good pizza. Theirs is crafted with high quality flour and patience. The other ingredients are also of the highest quality. Ours were then prepared with attention to detail and perfectly baked. Well done!

20/06/2025: We ate there twice. The owner is an incredibly personable man, extremely friendly and dedicated. He opened his restaurant on his day off especially for us (unbelievable). The food is truly unique and very authentic. Considering the quality of the cuisine, the prices are almost ridiculous. We went there once with four people (full menu: starter, main course, dessert, and wine) for €120. I will definitely be back and would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for everything. 11/06/2025: I’m still dreaming about this meal — hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Italy. Every single dish was bursting with freshness and flavor. The pizza was absolute perfection: that airy, charred crust, creamy mozzarella, sweet tomatoes, and the touch of fresh basil… chef’s kiss. The seafood pasta was light yet flavorful, with tender clams and a perfect garlic-sauce. And don’t get me started on the shrimp and calamari — so tender and seasoned just right. Even the sides were impressive — crispy potatoes with charred tomato and fresh herbs? Yes, please. And then came dessert… both were so elegant and not overly sweet. The raspberry one was refreshing and fruity, while the other had this lovely balance of whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Every detail — the handmade ceramic plates, the charming glassware, the cozy ambiance — made the whole experience feel special. If you find yourself anywhere near here, this place is an absolute must. I’d come back in a heartbeat

10/06/2025: We were visiting Italy and we tried the pizza and it was one of the best pizzas we tried in Italy. We met Chef Elias and he was one of the nicest people. He welcomed us very much and treated us well in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet Chef Yaqoub. I hope everyone tries the restaurant if they visit Italy 🫡🍕

28/06/2025: Quiet pizza evening in this trattoria just outside the center of Castell'Arquato. Thin but pleasant pizza, young and attentive staff. Prices are normal.

02/06/2025: La trattoria Primavera è l' ottimo approdo, per rinfrancarsi dopo una camminata nella tranquillità delle verdi colline, magari preceduta da un giretto in uno degli antichi borghi medievali dei dintorni ...Vigoleno o Castell'Arquato... oppure dopo una visita alla bellissima abbazia di Chiaravalle della Colomba, a valle. Luoghi che vi sorprenderanno per l' armonia...la stessa armonia che troverete a cena, assaporando i piatti della tradizione locale! E che dire dell' ottimo Monterosso?!? Solo 👏👏👏

31/05/2025: We had dinner at this place, a simple setting with a beautiful view of the vineyards at sunset, very kind and attentive staff but the real added value are the dishes... from appetizers to desserts, all exquisite, prepared with care and culinary wisdom, strictly homemade pasta, sauces so tasty that you can lick your lips and mop up the sauce. Wine of own production, just the right portions, quality raw materials and a decidedly honest price. Well done everyone!!! If you love good food this is the right place. Bertolino family from Turin

24/06/2025: Family atmosphere, house wine, good service and fair prices. We had lunch for 2 days with a full menu. Very good food. At night they have pizza, but it's average, worth the low price. I would definitely go back.
