27/06/2025: I have the honor to be the artistic director of group of young opera singers from around the world who come to Cesenatico every year for 3 weeks to work on an opera, and to learn and hone their craft with our wonderful faculty. We found the Hotel Miramare at Cesenatico 3 years ago, and each year we are unable to believe how wonderful it is every year. Monica and Manuel are incredibly accommodating and are the epitome of what it means to have customer service, and have since become like family. As much as the program is impactful for emerging singers, musically, that we all eat so well, in a place that is so perfectly situated with ocean-views, is incomprehensible for many of our participants. The food, which changes every day, is so delicious. The fresh fish, the pastas, the pizzas are all absolutely top notch, but the servers which are some of the kindest most accommodating people around really do make the meal. Specifically, Cosimo and Antonio, who have been with us every year for 3 years, and who remembers all the faculty and recurring students, and treats our group of 25 (for both lunch and dinner) as never an imposition, but always is helpful, kind, and even joking with us! The experience for the participants is not only about the music, but about the environment, and with the entire team at Hotel Miramare, the Capo del Molo Restaurant, and the town of Cesenatico, I could not ask for a better environment to nurture and support these emerging artists! We discovered Hotel Miramare in Cesenatico 3 years ago (Thanks to our Italian teacher!) and every year we can’t believe how wonderful it is. Monica and Manuel are incredibly helpful and the essence of customer service, and have since become like family to us. As much as the program has a significant impact on the up and coming singers, musically, the fact that we all eat so well, in such a perfect location overlooking the sea, is incomprehensible to many of our participants. The food, which changes daily, is absolutely delicious. The fresh fish, pasta, pizzas are all top notch, but the waiters, some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met, really make the meals special. In particular, Cosimo and Antonio, who have been with us every year for 3 years, remember the names of all the returning faculty and students and serve our group of 25 (lunch and dinner) without ever seeming annoyed, but always helpful, kind and even joking with us! The experience for the attendees is not just about the music, but also the environment, and with the entire team at Hotel Miramare, Ristorante Capo del Molo, and the city of Cesenatico, we couldn't ask for a better environment to nurture and support these emerging artists! 17/07/2025: Molto carina la parte esterna usufruibile in estate, carina anche la parte verandata, più classico l’interno. Cibo tradizionale ma gustoso. Accogliente e gentile lo staff. Prezzi nella media.

11/07/2025: Posto molto accogliente, personale gentile e menu ricco e vario. Personalmente lo frequento da tempo e ho sempre mangiato bene! La qualita di sicuro qui non manca! Mi sento di consigliarlo se si passa da Forlì! Complimenti allo chef e allo staff tutto!

01/09/2025: Terrible, waiting and improvisation. It's always a negative reaffirmation. Of all the MCs I've tried, it's unbeatable for waiting times and order errors, as happened other nights. I confirm, even tonight, every time there were endless waits, even with only one car in front, staff absent at the MC Drive counters and only showing up after minutes... a disaster.

01/09/2025: Renovated with a takeaway Mac and Drive-Thru. They also serve excellent breakfasts. I should add that prices have risen significantly recently and the quality has declined.

25/08/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of some fishermen, and it was a pleasant surprise. You can choose from the à la carte menu or from various menu options. We had mixed hot and cold fish appetizers (all fresh and plentiful), passatelli "alla Armando" (served dry and very tasty), and mixed grilled fish (plenty and varied). The stuffed cuttlefish skewers are exquisite. A good wine selection, and the house wine isn't bad either. The restaurant is large and tables are well-spaced. The only downside is the desserts, which are a bit bland and nothing special. As mentioned, it's a bit hidden, but definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

21/12/2024: Abbiamo prenotato per una cena, per la quale abbiamo ricevuto la conferma on line ma....arrivato al ristorante lo abbiamo trovato CHIUSO! Tutto questo sabato 21/12/2024. Direi che l'organizzazione non è il massimo per un locale tanto rinomato. Valutazione pessima considerando che la prenotazione era per un evento speciale!

16/12/2024: Non pensavo di scrivere mai una recensione così. Prenoto con largo anticipo per sabato 14 dicembre a cena. Mi arriva conferma per mail e poi anche via whatsapp. Il giorno 14 parto di casa e faccio circa 1 ora di auto che è la distanza tra casa mia e la Mentana. Arrivo e trovo tutto chiuso e spento. Attendo 15 minuti e poi provo a chiamare ma il numero è staccato. Scrivo su whatsapp per sapere se avessero cambiato entrata ma nessuna risposta né per messaggi né telefonica. Giro a piedi per il paese di Mercato Saraceno, magari hanno ritardato l’apertura ho pensato….ma dopo 1 ora al freddo e senza riuscire a mettermi in contatto con il ristorante risalgo in auto e faccio un altro ora per rientrare. Mi sono fermato a prendere una pizza da asporto, il sabato sera in Romagna all ultimo non è semplice trovare posto. Spero non sia capitato nulla di grave alla Mentana e al suo personale per aver trovato chiuso ma non avere avvisato della chiusura lo ritengo davvero una mancanza di rispetto e professionalità. Non è per le spese del viaggio a vuoto, autostrada ecc. ma sono passati 2 giorni e non riesco ad avere una spiegazione né per mail, né telefono o whatsapp, questo rende davvero surreale questa situazione. Ho mangiato bene alla Mentana quando siamo stati ma questa situazione mi ha davvero lasciato con l amaro in bocca.

25/08/2025: Excellent restaurant. Very fresh food and a varied menu. Quick service and preparation. Fair prices. On Mondays, when other restaurants are closed, it's a bit crowded and chaotic. The parking lot isn't very large. Recommended.

22/08/2025: Worst experience. limited menu with low quality food. Too crowded and they cannot handle the customers. Waiters are angry and rude, service is terrible and takes sooo long.

19/08/2025: Probably a bad evening. The main dining room was extremely hot, with the air conditioning off and loud (it was hard to hear the menu), the menu was missing, and some of the dishes listed on the website were unavailable. The quality of the dishes was good, but the portions were small. They probably assume customers order an appetizer, first course, and second course, while typically, two out of three courses (plus dessert if desired) are served. The final price was higher than expected. Personally, it's an experience I won't repeat, but as I mentioned, it might have been an unlucky evening.

08/08/2025: Like every year, we come here in July to eat pigeon or wood pigeon, but the tagliatelle or pappardelle with wild boar ragù are also phenomenal, and the rabbit is also very tasty. For appetizers, ask for wild radicchio with onion and a platter of cured meats, accompanied by homemade piadinas—you won't regret it. For dessert, a soft rustic ring cake to dip in cagnina, a wine best served chilled.

19/08/2025: Ferragosto evening. We ate excellent lasagna and a delicious pork shank. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed. The restaurant is located on Mount Fumaiolo, and it's also a bar. They also serve barbecues.

15/08/2025: A lovely, cool location on Monte Fumaiolo. Simple, friendly service.
