12/05/2025: Unfortunately, the whole experience was a quite a disappointment. When we called to make a reservation, we spoke with the chef and he promised us the best food and one of the best treatment ever. Because of these promises, our expectation was really high.
Sadly, it was all a bit of an illusion. The cheff barely welcomed us, he was basically only walking around making an image. We had to wait long for the food to arrive, the food was really plain, small portions and not special. After eating, the waiters took our plates without asking if everything was allright. It seemed all more off a show. If you hang up michelin guide certificates around, I would stick more to restaurant etiquettes. The garden is cute to sit, further there was not a lot to come back for.
12/05/2025: I came from Rio de Janeiro to visit Chef Andrea's kitchen, it was worth every kilometer!
Cuisine based on small producers and top quality products.
Pure cuisine, without subterfuges and pleasing to the palate.
Thankful for every moment spent there, friendly and caring service.

It takes over from the inns of the past, where however cleanliness comes first.
Let's start with the bread made by them which is wonderful and delicious, the menu is very Carioca and the dishes are all very well prepared
Portions quite generous.
Discreet cellar.

10/04/2025: I can only add further compliments to this place, one of the few remaining that not only offers quality raw materials, but even more, dedicates experience and passion to knowing how to cook it.
Many of the dishes presented not only tell the story of the tradition, but also the time it takes to prepare them and the experience of manual skills in the kitchen, so they are worth the price presented!
The place is suggestive, a few meters away is a block of sandstone where you can climb and do via ferratas, one more reason to then stop at the end of the day at the Hosteria Rocca di Badolo
Highly recommended, we will definitely return
08/04/2025: I knew the place because I lived in that area, I went there a couple of times many years ago. Today for my partner's birthday I decided to go back. Excellent choice. We ate very well, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

29/04/2025: We were here for a celebration, everything went very well, we also ate well, the waiters were excellent. Towards the end we went outside to the outside seating area, as there were many children among us. There was music and the children played. Cars were parked outside, quite far from the games. A child (he is one year old) approached the cars like many other children and I would also like to point out that the cars were never at risk of being damaged or anything like that, and was touched by the child's little hand, I took it away immediately as any parent would do. Suddenly the owner of the restaurant approached like a fury, shouted at me to get away from the cars and was very rude and indecent! very rude, especially if he had no reason to say things politely. After spending the day celebrating an event, ending the day like this was disappointing. One lady (I think she was the owner) was excellent and a great lady who knows how to deal with customers and people, clearly ashamed of her behaviour. She even apologized for her behavior, which is absolutely no credit to this guy. In the end he was also very rude and called us "southerners" without knowing where we came from. Now I think that if he continues like this, he will soon have no customers left. Typical pimp who doesn't know the value of work. I never leave reviews but in this case absolutely yes.
We were very disappointed.

We went to Re Lasagna with high expectations, especially because the restaurant insists so much on the "Emilian-ness" of the dishes. Unfortunately, the only regal thing we found was the arrogance of the owner: unwelcoming, hasty and with an attitude that made the experience even less pleasant.
As for the cuisine, it was a disappointment. The appetizer - grilled mortadella - arrived at the table without any particular care, and the result was rather anonymous: neither the taste nor the preparation did justice to an ingredient that is a symbol of the Emilian tradition.
The sliced steak, offered at 17 euros, was accompanied by simple frozen French fries. Considering the emphasis on local cuisine, we would have expected a side dish more in line with the identity of the territory - and perhaps a dish
more balanced in price.
Finally, the lasagna left us perplexed: evidently reheated, with too much pasta and not enough filling, it had nothing memorable. A dish that should be the flagship of the house and that instead turned out to be unsatisfactory, to the point that we left still hungry.
Overall, a disappointing experience. If this is the king of lasagna, the crown is really out of place.

16/04/2025: We have been customers for years and love both the staff and their pizzas. They have special pizzas every month, quality ingredients, and alternative flours. All delicious even when delivered to your home. They are always kind, smiling and welcoming, with special attention for our children, who adore them. If you eat pizza there, there's always conversation and you feel like family. Thank you very much dear ones!

12/05/2025: Sono andata per un pranzo organizzato con familiari ,premetto che era stato già stato pattuito il menù a €30 a persona e l'orario era 12,30 ai tavoli alle 13 c'eravamo già tutti e i camerieri hanno iniziato a portare il bere ,per ben tre volte abbiamo sollecitato il personale per essere serviti e finalmente alle 15 circa sono arrivati il bis di primi che non erano niente di speciale anzi i tortelloni avevano la ricotta un po' acida tant'è che non li ha mangiati quasi nessuno,alla fine abbiamo trovato la sorpresa del conto ci ha messo in conto i bottiglie di acqua 1 di vino e due di coca cola che effettivamente hanno portato in più ma passare da €30 a €34 a persona mi sembra un po' eccessivo e se hanno tardato 2 ore a servirci è ovvio che si è bevuto un po' di acqua in più
Non ci tornerò più sicuramente

11/05/2025: The restaurant is in a spectacular location. The terrace offers a really good view of the valley as well as allowing air to circulate which on hot days is a panacea for feeling even better.
Excellent first courses, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and also with wild boar ragu, really well made.
The meat was also quite good juicy slightly dry in some places but still a good dish.
The only negative note is that out of 1 kg and 200 grams of meat, around 300 if not more were bone. Unfortunately, in fact, there was little meat, almost none at all, and in any case the weight was calculated including a truly enormous bone as seen in the video. Sin. Except for this, which is no small thing however, the restaurant is good. Honestly, in reference to the meat we felt cheated. When the girl asked the canonical question: "how did it go?" I pointed out the problem to her but she pretended nothing happened.
The desserts need to improve a lot

There were 9 of us and they did everything to welcome us even at Easter.

11/05/2025: My experience at this restaurant was very negative, not so much for the food, but for the seriously rude behavior of one of the waiters (or perhaps a relative of the owners, given the familiarity and arrogant attitude with which he moved).
That day I had been invited by friends to lunch, but due to personal commitments I was unable to arrive at the beginning of the meal. I joined them when they were almost finished, simply to spend some time in company.
When I arrived, one of the waiters thought it a good idea to "welcome" me with a comment like: "What are you doing, coming to mooch? Starving?" — said in a tone that was not at all ironic. I let it go, even though I was already annoyed. Shortly after, while he was talking to a friend of mine, he added another comment, even more out of place: he said that my face was disproportionate and that I "was disgusting". A gratuitous personal attack, a clear episode of body shaming.
It is sincerely funny (in a bitter way) that certain words come from a visibly frustrated person, clearly overweight and with advanced baldness: not exactly an authority on aesthetics or style.
I want to point out that I am not writing this review out of insecurity or to vent personally. On the contrary, I am at peace with myself, I am with a wonderful girl and a character like that, just for the way he behaves, could not even dream of a healthy or fulfilling relationship.
I am writing on principle, and because it is right that certain things are reported. For those who want to go to this place, and especially for those who manage it.
I sincerely hope that the owners read this review: if it is an employee, his behavior is totally unprofessional. If instead he is the son of the owners, the situation is even sadder. because we are not just talking about bad manners, but a real lack of human respect, which ruins the image of the entire place. The waiter, I add, also wears glasses

Piatti davvero squisiti con ingredienti di qualità, risotto con barbabietole e gocce di stracchino, tortellini, tortelloni di ricotta in salsa verde, cotoletta alla bolognese, crescentine con affettati.
Carta dei vini per tutti i palati.
