29/04/2024: Average, without infamy and without praise. This is my opinion on the Chef Express of Tevere Est 17.
The location is convenient, located along the A1 motorway, ideal for a quick meal while traveling. The place is clean and tidy, the staff friendly and helpful.
The menu offers a vast choice of typical Italian dishes, from first courses to second courses, side dishes and salads. Prices are average.
I tried a tomato pasta dish and a salad. The pasta was decent, the tomato a little too watery. The salad was fresh and well dressed.
Overall, the Chef Express in Tevere Est 17 is an average place. If you are looking for a place for a quick and unpretentious meal, it can be fine. But if you're looking for a memorable dining experience, I'd say there are better places.
If you are short on time, the Chef Express is a quick and convenient solution.
If you are looking for an upscale dining experience, this is not the place.
The menu offers a wide choice of dishes, so it's easy to find something you like.
The prices are average, so the bill won't surprise you.

06/04/2024: Our last stop after spending a week touring northern Italy and having enjoyed countless magnificent gastronomic experiences with my wife and 7-month-old baby was Bologna. On the recommendation of the hotel receptionist we headed to this restaurant. We arrived, everything was full (or that's what they told us at least) and they made us wait half an hour in the street. While the Italian groups, couples or families continued entering as they arrived. As they saw that we were not leaving and we were at the door waiting for “our turn,” they told us to sit at a table where there was no possibility of leaving the baby's chair nearby. When they asked for explanations and asked for another table, they basically invited us to leave. Nothing like this had ever happened to me in my life.

07/04/2024: We sat at 12:35 and the waitress didn’t serve us at all; even after half an hour. She was walking past us and serving other customers. When we asked her if we could eat here, she said yes but when we asked her how long will we wait; she wasn’t clear or sure.

05/04/2024: Excellent restaurant! You pay at the beginning to eat as much as you can and choose dishes with the limit being to order about 4-5 dishes and after 5 minutes you can order again.
The food is excellent and arrives quickly!

03/04/2024: I would never go back there again, the fish is not fresh at all as it passed through the port, I have never eaten so little sushi during my "SUSHI EVENING" usually my best friend and I look like two truck drivers. Soy sauce with the words "less salty" you dip a nigiri in it and you only taste the crazy flavor of the sauce and you don't taste the flavor of the fish okay I don't want to say anything else

04/04/2024: It's my first time going to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I went for lunch and took advantage of the all you can eat formula.
The nigiri are plentiful and with plenty of fish on top, a much appreciated detail. The quantity of fish, even in the other dishes, was not lacking, let's say that there was the right ratio between rice and fish.
Exceptional service and very helpful and friendly staff.
Suggestive location, refined furnishings and a view overlooking the canal.
All in all, a recommended restaurant, and in my ranking of all you can eat restaurants in Ferrara, I place it among the best.

31/03/2024: Easter Saturday evening 2024, unforgettable dinner, beyond expectations (already high, given the name...)... Tradition proposed in an innovative way, right and abundant portions... Tortellini confirm their rightful fame, high-level desserts. .. but the latter are truly exceptional. Right quality/price ratio.... Definitely recommended, and worth trying
