31/05/2025: Very often on Friday evenings with childhood friends we have been going to Randagio for years, a place where you can find everything, from pizza, to meat and fish. The fish then, I would say one of the strong points, from the Paella, to an excellent and abundant mixed fried fish, both of mixed seafood and traditional to finish with excellent mixed grills with shellfish or normal. I would say the managers are good at satisfying customers, they are open 7 days a week, the waiting staff are good and fast. Then what can I say excellent prices. Try it to believe it.

23/06/2025: Baracca e Burattini is a homey and delightful atmosphere that is tucked away from the usual tourist crowds. I arrived before my other two roommates and was first seated in the bar area which was filled with locals speaking Italian and enjoying drinks. The bar area also contained a couch with chairs which was different from any other bars I’ve seen and reminded me of the cafe in the show Friends due to the resemblance. After my roommates came and the server came over, we realized we were in the wrong section since there was a separate back section for food. The back room that the server brought us to was cozy and warmly lit. The decor on the walls of the paintings felt very homey along with the brick walls: What made the atmosphere complete was the calm beach music that was played at a comfortable volume that made us feel at ease while still being able to communicate with one another. When ordering, the server was very polite and always had a warm smile on her face. What amazed us about the service was that she didn’t treat us like tourists, but just like any other person in the restaurant, even though we were the only people speaking English at the time of arrival. The food of the restaurant felt very thought out and prepared distinctly. There is a note on the menu that reads that you may need to be prepared for long waits to keep the food authentic, which shows that they care about the quality of their food. I ordered the tortellini in a creamy parmesan sauce which was decadent yet balanced. I had not eaten much before and the portion size felt perfect. The appetizer we ordered came out with our food yet strangely felt more like a dessert. It was a cheese-filled donut roll that oozed upon taking a bite. The roll was topped with arugula, honey, and balsamic. It was very different than anything I have ordered here in Italy and enjoyed trying something new. The Campari spritz that I ordered with my meal was too bitter for my taste, but that may just be my personal preference since it was my first time trying it. The Instagram account of the restaurant displays a homey atmosphere, with a slightly modern twist. The Instagram shows that the people working in the restaurant show great pride in their food. The experience overall made me appreciate the quietly elegant food culture and I would visit this restaurant again.

20/06/2025: I loved it. It's a clean place with a good, homey atmosphere. The food is excellent and the prices are fair. The service is excellent. You can split the bill among your group, jointly or individually. From the outside, you can't tell how big it is inside. I recommend it.

22/06/2025: Got a table on request when we turned up. Staff wonderful. Antipasti and secundi ( we didn't order primi) all really good, and we greatly enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Two slight down points at the end. The panacotta was shown in a photo on the menu as plain, but it came covered in a chocolate sauce, and, also, we specifically asked for coffee to come after the dolci, which the waitress repeated back to us, in Italian, yet th coffee arrived almost immediately the dolci were on the table, so inevitably cool by the time we had finished eating. Small points, but the took the shine off an otherwise lovely evening meal.

22/06/2025: Sufficient dinner but below expectations. Kind but not very present service, decent dishes but nothing special. The mussels had sand and the tagliolini allo scoglio were tasteless. Fair price for a fish dinner

13/05/2025: As a local from Bologna, I can say this is by far the best gelato in the city. It’s always packed with tourists, but honestly, they’re here for a reason — the gelato is that good. The flavors are so rich and authentic, you can tell they use the best ingredients. Even with all the gelaterias in Bologna, this one still stands out. Highly recommend it!

12/05/2025: Nothing to say about the environment, beautiful, formal, unique and well-kept. The food was good, nothing spectacular but it was still edible, although I must say that the portion of cappelletti with ragù was a bit small, and did not fill me up completely, while my companion's mutton was a nice dish. There are definitely better Osterie in Ravenna. The weak point is definitely the service, slow and without a minimum of attention to the customer, this is because the restaurant will host at least 100 tables, so something is bound to be lost. We ordered for 13.25, at 14.00 we had only eaten the appetizer, and we were starving. So we were forced to ask a waitress for the first courses, who went to the kitchen and came back simply telling us that they had forgotten the order... by half an hour, and well, it can happen. We go to pay and the man at the cash register, all amused, gives us the bill without even giving us a small discount for the inconvenience, since in the end the dishes arrived at 2.15 pm, after almost an hour after we ordered them. Shameful, the care for the customer is non-existent, with all the tables they have I don't think they can't afford to give a discount for an inconvenience.

05/06/2025: Passeggiando su Via delle Moline ho notato i tavolini di questo locale e, ispirato dalle persone sedute e dall'atmosfera del locale, mi sono fermato. Personale gentile ed attento, tempi di servizio veloci nonostante il locale fosse pieno. Ottimo l'antipasto bolognese ed i tortellini alla panna. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, assolutamente consigliato

03/06/2025: Tuvimos una noche maravillosa en Va Mo La, hecho aún más especial por la increíble hospitalidad de Carmine. Su calidez, atención y cuidado genuino realmente se destacaron y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Gracias, Carmine, por ir más allá, eres una gran parte de lo que hace este lugar tan especial. Sin duda volveremos!

16/06/2025: We come to this restaurant for all special occasions. The food is very good, typical Bolognese. The prices are quite in line with the rest of the trattorias in the city, perhaps a little higher: first courses 12~14€, cotoletta alla bolognese 17€, cover charge 3€. First courses are abundant and tasty. Cotoletta alla bolognese is very large. Street parking is available for a fee, it is often not very easy to find places nearby. Reservations are practically mandatory at least 2 weeks in advance, otherwise it is difficult to find a place.

19/06/2025: Chouette petit resto, très bien situé… La nourriture y est très bonne, nous avons pris une tagliata qui était délicieuse et la petite a pris les tagliatelles au ragu (excellent). Les prix sont raisonnables pour un centre ville…

12/06/2025: Il y a un minimum de quantité à servir dans une assiette !! Lorsque vous comparez avec les autres restaurants, jamais on nous a servi aussi peu !! Dans ce restaurant il faudrait commander au minimum 3 plats par personne pour se rassasier. Et pourtant nous ne sommes pas de gros mangeurs! Loin s’en faut !!!

19/06/2025: Consigliato da un amico e... aveva ragione! Ci sono stato con mio padre e abbiamo trovato tutto quello che cercavamo: una cucina bolognese autentica, sapori pieni, piatti fatti come si deve. Niente fronzoli, solo sostanza e grande cura nell’esecuzione. Il servizio è stato una chicca: uno di quei camerieri “vecchia scuola” che sanno dosare attenzione e simpatia con maestria. Tappa obbligata per chi vuole vivere Bologna anche a tavola, come si deve.

16/06/2025: Mi ci hanno portata degli amici che conoscevano già il posto. devo essere sincera, da fuori non capisci bene se sia una trappola per turisti o un posto in cui sia doveroso fermarsi. Entri e capisci. Consiglio a chiunque vada a Bologna per la prima volta oppure no, titolare davvero cordiale, molto diretta, ma efficiente e perfetta padrona di casa. Il personale è professionale, attento e disponibile, e il cibo eccezionale. Merita! Inoltre sono ammessi gli animali, anche di taglia media. In centro a Bolgona, consiglio di prenotare!

23/06/2025: I have come to this restaurant many times to eat pizza that I would define as decent, but last night I wanted to take a risk and I took a plate of mussels..., big mistake, good appearance, big mussels but they didn't taste of anything....nothing to be done this seafood must be consumed at the seaside never again this mistake
