The Ferrari Museum Cafe

08/06/2025: This museum seemed to be designed to exploit Ferrari fans.
I am not a Ferrari or a big F1 fan, but as a motor sport enthusiast I had to go to the Ferrari Museum due to the brand's amazing history.
The entry cost was 27€ at the time, way overpriced for the dimension and value of the exhibit.
The first part was mostly about modern(ish) Ferrari models and it was not particularly interesting due to the little historic value and the fact that many of these cars are easily seen in smaller car collections that many people probably have already seen in their country of origin.
The one-off models were not interesting as well.
The room with the F1 cars was certainly the most interesting due to their one-off nature and the engines being on display.
The second part was more about historic Ferrari models and it was great, but very short.
Then Ferrari had overpriced simulators (nothing crazy, just running the F1 game) at the end followed by their overpriced store.

30/06/2025: Certainly the best center of this type in Modena, with large spaces and well-kept. However, for some time now the air conditioning system has been set to save or perhaps has some technical limit and on particularly sultry days you suffer from heat and humidity.
29/06/2025: Fantastic and huge shopping center, it really offers everything and more. It is so big and well-stocked that you can spend a whole day there and never get bored.

We took the trio of first courses for 15 euros each consisting of pumpkin tortelli, tortelli with speck and strigoli mushrooms and bacon. All very good and super cheap. We spent 47 euros for two with two bottles of Lambrusco.

17/06/2025: We left this place far richer than when we arrived. The food was good (best Modenese food of the trip), but I'll remember the kindness of the chef and staff for far longer than the taste of the food. If you want to make a lasting memory in Modena, this place would be my recommendation.
(We chose the traditional tasting menu, which was incredibly filling. Declining the extra bread with olive oil might be a wise choice.)

05/07/2025: Years ago there was a very good pizza here, a place always full and a menu with an infinite choice. Now the place is half empty, pizza for 5, waiters watching the game on TV, others playing with their cell phones, others walking bored with their hands behind their backs, others joking among themselves in a friendly way, others still who go off to talk quietly, a waitress who calmly texts on her cell phone while she constantly fixes her hair and then brings the dishes to the table. There are two of us and they bring us the pizzas separately, leaving 10 minutes between the first and second without giving any explanations.
Pizza very similar to the frozen ones in the supermarkets which are perhaps even better
I ask for explanations at the cashier and I get an impolite answer halfway between annoyed and mocking "everyone makes mistakes"... what they didn't do wrong was in charging full price. Highly not recommended place!
20/06/2025: Also available in a slightly stressful situation with a flying addition of tables always with a smile on their lips, very fast service, smart guys, good pizza.

27/06/2025: All good, only flaw (subjective) the pizza I ordered (the Vecchia Modena) had walnuts.
Some will like it, personally I don't find anything right, only place where I've seen it done like this.
All in all the place is good and the pizza dough is not bad.

16/10/2023: Had dinner with a friend, I had an unlimited pizza menu, he had an unlimited gnocchi and tigelle menu, decent prices given that you eat as much as you want anyway (pizza 11.90, gnocco and tigelle 13.90) but then I'll tell you the details, really poor quality cold cuts for tigelle and crescentine and a you have the comment for the photo of the raw meat which as you can see is made up of half fat and the other not, while for the pizza the tastes are decided by the pizza chef and not by me as I thought it was because in other pizza rounds that I have done I decided me, and therefore I explicitly specified that I didn't eat cherry tomatoes, salami, fresh cheeses, mortadella and what do I get? A first course of pizza consisting of: artichokes and sausage, mushrooms and ham, -salami- and margherita... then in the second course of pizza I get: mozzarella and sausage, radicchio and balsamic and -parmesan- and bacon.. . then as the third course of pizza which was supposed to be the last I asked if I could choose the flavors and initially the request was denied but after insisting he accepted and so I ordered half "buffalo and cooked" and half 'Naples' made up of " anchovies, mozzarella and oregano", for the Naples part I can't complain but after seeing the other half I understood that it was a really sad pizzeria, meanwhile from the photo you can see the NO difference between the mozzarella of the Naples part and the "bufala" mozzarella " which instead should have been in the other half... and then the cooked ham comes to me raw??? In 24 years I have never seen the cooked and buffalo pizza which is my favorite with the cooked one being served raw... so it's up to you to judge... I understand the acceptable price but at least a bit of competence and quality in the ingredients

21/06/2025: Trattoria discovered in the last year, but when we can we return with great pleasure. Traditional dishes to lick your lips, especially the trio of first courses and the borlenghi! honest prices and quality.
the last time we were there during the cherry season we gorged ourselves on them, delicious!

01/06/2025: A fixed stop when we travel to go to Romagna. Excellent food and excellent service. Comfortable environment. Relaxing stop that recharges to continue the journey in good spirits.
25/05/2025: The place has become a certainty. Pleasant atmosphere, kind and efficient staff. I tried a maxi burger on Thursday night and paid 50%. I will return for the other offers of the week.

16/06/2025: It had been a while since I went to this restaurant and just tonight I re-evaluated it super positively! I am celiac and once I explained it to the very kind boy who welcomed us and accompanied us to the table, it was clearly explained to me (as it is actually written very clearly in the dedicated menu) where the gluten-free menu was on the tablet and how all the dishes inside would be prepared with extreme care and in the gluten-free version (without risky sauces, for example). After years I was able to taste the steamed ravioli, the shrimp clouds, some delicious first courses and... the gluten-free mochi! What can I say, excellent quality-price compared to current prices. WELL DONE and thank you for thinking of the SAFE and WELL EXPLAINED gluten-free menu!!
06/06/2025: Great Chinese Japanese restaurant, we ate well. Maybe a little expensive, but sometimes it's okay. We will definitely be back. Great sushi and sashimi.
