03/06/2025: siamo capitati qui per caso, mentre eravamo di passaggio tornando da Viareggio. abbiamo trovato un locale super accogliente, qualità del cibo davvero sopra alla media considerando il prezzo, e personale super gentile. prima di mangiare ci sono stati illustrati i piatti e ci è stata presentata la storia dello chef in modo molto simpatico, e credetemi rende molto piacevole l’atmosfera. varietà di piatti del giorno davvero ampia. consigliatissimo.

31/05/2025: Having read the recent reviews and settling on making the trip, we were met with a string of disappointment during our visit. We ordered the Tortelli, Steak and Beans. The service was genuinely existent. We were offered a table outside where we faced a wall, when there were 2 other tables available already set. As we found, neither were actually booked as they seated other walk ins after us. While the food was quick to arrive and was reasonable in taste, the steak was poorly cooked, and still with a lot of gristle. The Tortelli was quite good though. After all this the prices were 'reasonable' had the food and service been better. But in this case, it was quite an expensive meal for something that was not really reflective of the other reviews and ratings. I'll put it down to a tough night for the staff, or something else going on (ie more about locals than visitors). But there were plenty of other options in the township that would be deserving of your visitor dollars. This reads as a tough review, but genuinely felt that it just wasnt the experience we had hoped for a restaurant with such positive reviews.

26/05/2025: For me, Antica Trattoria in Colle di Val d'Elsa is the epitome of an excellent restaurant in Tuscany. Eating at this restaurant is like 'eating like God in Italy'. The menu features a variety of typical Tuscan dishes that you rarely find elsewhere. The ribollita is the best between Florence and Siena, and Enrico's tartare is impressively refined. The entire menu is accompanied by wines of the highest quality. Everything about this restaurant is just right. It has a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, and sometimes the setting makes you feel as if you're in one of Federico Fellini's best films. Enrico and Luciana Paradisi, along with their daughter Christiana, are excellent hosts. It is also the best value for money that I have found in Tuscany. I have been eating at this restaurant for 25 years and have never been disappointed. The menu offers a variety of typical Tuscan dishes that are difficult to find. The ribolita is the migliore tra Firenze and Siena, while the tartare of Enrico is raffinata al punto giusto. The intero menu is accompanied by wine of high quality. It's perfect in this restaurant. The atmosphere is accompaniment, the cordial service and the ambient atmosphere are similar to the famous films of Federico Fellini. Enrico and Luciani Paradiesi, with the figure of Christiana, are also the fathers of the house. This is perfect and it also has a better quality report - before it was born in Tuscany. Frequento this restaurant since 25 years and not until May Rimasto deluso. Eating in this restaurant is like: “Eating like God in Italy”. The menus are typical Tuscan fare in a variety that's rarely found. Everything in this restaurant is just right from A to Z. Cozy ambiance, friendly service, and at times, a setting that feels like one of Federico Fellini's best films. 23/05/2025: During my experience I encountered serious hygiene problems, finding worms inside the food. In addition, I witnessed a worrying scene with the owner lying on the floor in an apparent state of overdose. I strongly advise against this place. If you are looking for a place to eat, I suggest you go elsewhere, perhaps to a trusted kebab shop.

20/05/2025: Locale molto carino, servizio buono e cibo ottimo, rapporto qualità prezzo azzeccato. Una piacevole scoperta nel cuore di Colle Val D’Elsa. Una pizza spettacolare con ingredienti di prima qualità.

18/05/2025: The place is nice and welcoming with clean services. The table service is very precise and discreet. Fried appetizer and very good cold cuts and excellent pizza with quality ingredients. We were not simple guests (a group of almost 30 people, half of which were children), but we were served really well! See you next time!

04/06/2025: This was great find!!!! So good AND SO BEAUTIFUL!! The food was wonderful, to top it off the setting is dreamy. Our server was so kind as we arrived towards the end of lunch time. They still made us wonderful food. We had the wild boat with the polenta block which is a must to try. The pasta and the crunch veggies with mozzarella WAS AMAZING. WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK ANS STAY FOR A HOLIDAY

16/06/2025: The place is very nice and cool in summer, the terrace has a special atmosphere. The quality of the bread could be improved considering the 3€ per person for the cover charge and the attention in deboning the fish: the ombrina fillet was very good, but finding bones in it was not pleasant. The quality/price ratio is now average.
