08/02/2025: Vine aquí a mitad de semana con un grupo grande. Hicimos reserva, y el restaurante hizo frente admirablemente. Este es un restaurante muy bueno que ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. La comida es italiana y variada. No hubo quejas de nadie. Si vas a asistir a una conferencia en el centro MiCo y quieres un lugar local para una cena, este es un gran restaurante auténtico para visitar.

11/04/2025: Looked for somewhere for dinner on the way home and saw this restaurant. Despite the recent mediocre reviews, we decided to give it a try. The mediocre reviews were in fact correct. We ordered the napoli anni 60’ and sant’ ambrogio pizza. The sourness of the pickled broccoli on the sant’ ambrogio pizza was not a good pairing. Both pizzas had holes in it cuz the dough wasn’t evenly tossed. The crusts were also so chewy that it was inedible. Service was neutral. Server was not attentive but not rude. The decor was actually okay but the ambiance just felt off. When it the bill came, I saw they charged €2 for water and it wasn’t even an unopened bottled water that we got. It was a used glass bottle that they just filled with tap water.

30/05/2025: Gran comida y un ambiente hermoso. Así es mi segunda visita a este lugar y en ambas ocasiones todo ha sido sobresaliente.

08/04/2025: Un bell’hotel situato molto vicino alle terme . Stanza molto carina, pulita ed ampia. Bagno molto grande con doccia spaziosa. Abbiamo mangiato la sera al ristorante. Specializzato principalmente in carne, però mia moglie vegetariana ha mangiato tranquillamente. Piatti buoni e ben fatti. Si sentiva la cucina tradizionale toscana. Ampia scelta nella carta dei vini con ricarico non eccessivo. Bravissimi i due ragazzi ai tavoli. Prezzo dell’hotel in linea , quello del ristorante per me leggermente alto. Ci tornerei sia in hotel che al ristorante a mangiare Consigliato

19/01/2025: Excellent food in a now historic restaurant. Tagliolini with wild boar and mushrooms, good. Excellent fried rabbit and fried chops redone in tomato! Small but clean and welcoming environment. Kind and attentive staff. Interesting value for money.

01/05/2025: Una garanzia . Primi piatti fatti bene , porzioni giuste. Ottimi e abbondanti i secondi piatti . Piacevole il vino sfuso. In definitiva lo straconsiglio.

26/04/2025: Ristorante molto carino e cibo molto buono, specialmente il cinghiale con la polenta, veramente eccezionale! Anche le pappardelle al ragù bianco sono state un felice sorpresa! Non abbiamo preso gli antipasti, ma la prossima volta li proverò perché sono abbondanti e soprattutto vari. Consigliatissimo!

Paolo, who happens to have a background in chemical engineering, was both our server and the restaurant’s bartender — and yet, he welcomed our choice to stick with black Americanos without even a hint of judgment. His grace, warmth, and professionalism were a masterclass in hospitality. What stood out most was his passion for the food. Every culinary recommendation he made was exceptional — thoughtful, balanced, and clearly rooted in deep knowledge and love for the cuisine. Paolo made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely cared for. If you’re visiting Ristorante Cortefreda, trust Paolo. He’s proof that great service transcends the glass — and that sometimes, the best pairing for an unforgettable meal is simply kindness and good coffee.

16/02/2025: Come da titolo, ottimo ristorante. Come da tradizione, immancabile e in linea con la qualità tipica della regione, si apprezza soprattutto per i piatti e pietanze a base di carne. Buona anche la cantina. Assolutamente consigliato!

10/04/2025: Struttura molto ampia e adatta a ticevere un numero notevole di ospiti, potrebbe dare l'impressione di trovarsi di fronte a quei ristoranti troppo grandi per riservare la giusta attenzione al cliente. E invece non è affatto così, e la nostra serata al Ciliegio (eravamo una ventina) è stata davvero una bella esperienza. A cominciare dal menu, molto ricco e sempre con possibilità di bis, servito da giovani disponibilissimi e sorridenti (tra cui una simpaticissima ragazza albanese) costituito da pietanze della tradizione locale davvero buone, per finire ad un ricco ammazzacaffè. Tutto proposto in modo familiare e senza taccagneria, per un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.In definitiva, un locale decisamente consigliabile.

13/03/2025: Causa vista medica, data la vicinanza "alle scotte" di Siena ho prenotato per il pranzo. Posto ben curato, servizio gentile e veloce. Abbiamo preso un antipasto un piatto di pasta fatta in casa al sugo di cinghiale e una zuppa di farro, due calici di ottimo vino chianti riserva prodotto da loro, due dolci e due caffè. Piatti dal gusto deciso come vuole la cucina toscana, veramente buono tutto. Inoltre i prezzi sono onestissimi. Dovessi ripassare da quelle parti ci tornerò sicuramente.
