15/06/2025: Accoglienza squisita di un ragazzo molto spigliato, gentile e disponibile a dare informazioni sui piatti e sulla Toscana. Abbiamo preso due antipasti, due primi e il dolce ed era tutto buono.

23/05/2025: Locale alla vecchia maniera, casalingo e accogliente. Il menù è ovviamente tipicamente toscano e ma da vegetariana sono riuscita comunque a scegliere. La qualità è eccellente, le porzioni giuste. Antipasti a 8€ primi sui 15€ e secondi sui 18€. Rapporto qualita prezzo eccellente!!!

19/05/2025: Ho mangiato da sola in questo ristorante storico. AMBIENTE:Il locale è molto bello, che sa di antico. Due salette, tavoli spartani con tovagliette e personale gentissimo. CIBO:Non ho mangiato molto perché la loro proposta è diversa da quello che volevo io per cena. Oltre ai piatti nel menù c'erano anche piatti del giorno come il collo di anatra ripieno e le fave fresche con il pecorino. RAPPORTO QUALITA'/PREZZO: essendo in centro città mi sembra un costo ragionevole e non eccessivo Bellissimo locale e ottima la loro zuppa tipo ribollita

16/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena ieri sera in questo ristorante nel centro storico di Montemerano e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole, sotto ogni punto di vista. La terrazza si affaccia direttamente sulla campagna toscana e regala una vista spettacolare, soprattutto al tramonto. Un’atmosfera che da sola varrebbe la visita. Abbiamo iniziato con degli antipasti davvero gustosi, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi. Ciaffagnone con pecorino e miele, panzanella al pomodoro, crostini toscani.. una vera delizia! I primi e i secondi non sono stati da meno: piatti ben pensati, con sapori autentici e porzioni giuste. E per finire, i dolci... Un grazie particolare al cameriere che ci ha seguiti per tutta la sera: gentile, attento e sempre pronto a dare ottimi consigli. Il conto è stato corretto e pienamente in linea con la qualità dell’esperienza. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una cena speciale, con cucina di qualità e una vista che lascia il segno.

27/10/2025: I'll start by saying that I rarely write reviews, but this one was a must. Yesterday, I had lunch with my wife: the atmosphere was "unique," with attention to detail, decidedly relaxing, and out of the ordinary. We had paella (prepared to order), which was very good and unusual, and a mixed salad with fruit and shrimp (pleasantly warm). It was all accompanied by a glass of Friulian wine, which surprised me (at the perfect temperature). I was very satisfied. The owner is friendly, kind, unobtrusive, and knowledgeable. The quality/price ratio was good. I will definitely be back.

03/10/2025: Disturbingly Bad. Food was a complete disaster - Wine by the glass was literally undrinkable; We were out in five minutes, food and all. What a complete waste of money. We were the last to be served, truly, as they were about to close, but still, didn’t make us the favour of serving us with reheated food, and wine, which had been open for ages. Wasn’t even given a few minutes to at least ‘choose’, not that there was much to choose from, anyway. Do not even bother.

22/10/2025: Door was open, lights were on but no one was there to greet us. We walked to the back to find a staff member on his phone just rudely waving us away. We tried to ask if they could sit 4 of us, since they presented as open, and the staff member was probably the rudest ive ever experienced. Dont give these people your money, they dont deserve it.

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.

15/06/2025: Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí en nuestra última noche en Florencia. No estoy seguro de por qué el restaurante era tranquilo, ya que era una de las mejores comidas de nuestro viaje! Teníamos el filete de Fiorentina que estaba perfectamente cocinado, y todos los demás platos que pedimos estaban deliciosos. Un ambiente mucho más relajado que el puesto avanzado de Dubai (el servicio seguía siendo excelente) y el restaurante tiene un hermoso interior con una vista sobre el río. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveremos cuando estemos en Florencia!

27/04/2025: Nourriture délicieuse tant sur le plan des solides que des liquides, cadre très agréable, musique de fond un peu forte ; au total , vaut le coup d autant plus que la carte des vins est on’e peut plus belle!!!

23/10/2025: Forget the bar decor (a bit cold and uncharacteristic) and focus on the food: good and above all rich; not just the quantity, but the richness, like a pappardelle with wild boar swamped in ragù, like a mixed antipasto with Russian salad and so much veal with tuna sauce that it became a dish in itself... oh... even the pappardelle filled my stomach and served as lunch for the next day!

21/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, recently changed management, where they offer dishes from various menus, I had dinner in this place and I had a very good time, excellent meats, good first courses, exquisite platters of various qualities, upon reservation they also do Piedmontese mixed fried food, tasty desserts, fast and very friendly staff, nice place and above all tidy and clean, in short I recommend it, if you like to eat well, try it and you will not regret it, compliments to the staff.

17/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante immerso nelle campagne vicino Firenze. Atmosfera rilassante e piatti curati. La frittura è davvero eccellente. Servizio cordiale e prezzi giusti. Da provare!

02/12/2025: While visiting Siena, despite the many options available, we chose Il Vicolo. And I can say it was a great choice. Excellent and fast service. The staff was kind, helpful, and very friendly. We ordered a charcuterie board and a prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella, but the first courses were exceptional, both flavorful and quite generous. The price is in line with what you get. I recommend it.

14/07/2025: Helt klart värt en omväg, både vad gäller maten, serveringen, platsen och utsikten! Trots inlandet finns flera fiskalternativ. Bland det godare undertecknad ätit på bra länge!

22/06/2025: Prenotato fuori ma ci hanno messo dentro. Stanza rumorosa con i condizionatori accesi che facevano baccano. Piatti abbastanza buoni. Servizio veloce ma non perfetto. Sembra più il ristorante dell’albergo che per gli esterni.

07/11/2025: We had dinner with a small group of six friends. We ordered first courses and steak with side dishes. The first courses with ragù were very good, although the portions were perhaps a little on the small side. Unfortunately, the meat was sinewy and not particularly flavorful, and served on a hot stone cutting board. This makes a big impression on a foreign tourist who's never seen a steak, but it's obviously a terrible idea for the meat, which continues to cook and turns into a sole in no time... The downside? The vegetable side dish, with three puny slices of zucchini and eggplant, was decidedly overpriced. The service was quite slow.

28/10/2025: I recommend it! We were satisfied, the food was delicious!

23/10/2025: Adequate. The service was decent and ambiance was pleasant (though this was quite late for lunch, so may not be usual), but the food was quite pricy relative to the quantity, and the 'Tuscany boar' was just minced beef.
