03/04/2024: Beer was ice cold and so was the service, I like those two. Food was the worst I’ve had in years. Tasted like a day in bed tomorrow.

01/04/2024: Tourist trap. Not sure why this place gets such high reviews but it’s not very local at all. Everyone eating there is a tourist and I totally regret going there versus walking further into Ortigia - even if those places are touristy, at least you have good views! The portions were very generous. The pistachio ravioli was very bland and the seafood pasta was not fresh. We didn’t finish either one.

10/05/2024: Don't leave Syracuse without tasting Doriana's cuisine and enjoying her welcome! Here everything is fresh, homemade and “Mamá’s” Sicilian cuisine is in the spotlight. The name of the restaurant is perfect! Listen to Doriana talking to you with passion about her recipes (and in French with a little accent as delicious as her cooking!). Its pasta and pistachio tiramisu are worth the trip to Sicily alone!

07/05/2024: A magnificent address for all lovers of fresh pasta with local products. Magnificent Sicilian wine list, I recommend!

07/04/2024: Food not at all refined, very touristy and done for the sake of it. Anyone who wants to taste the real Sicily should go elsewhere. We reluctantly left the entire second course on our plate and they didn't even bother to ask us why. Never again.

06/04/2024: This is the second time we go to this place where the food is delicious but the service this time leaves something to be desired after ordering starters and first courses I ask the girl should we also order the second courses so she already knows everything? He replies, we don't need it, we'll order them later, but at 2.30pm he tells me that the kitchen is now closed to order 3 mixed fried fish. At that point I got up and paid the bill for what I had consumed, avoiding disturbing anyone because of the bitter and sweet coffee we had. in the pastry shop

09/05/2024: Very good restaurant with French and Sicilian cuisine. Perhaps there is only one thing missing after a hearty meal: gourmet coffee.

31/03/2024: A restaurant that has represented Syracuse excellence for years and years. Flavors, smells that remain indelible in the mind. They perfectly represent the territory, the wind and the salinity of the sea. Suggestive venue and excellent cellar. Obviously Don Camilo could not exist without the legendary Chef Guarneri. Good job, everyone. Keep punching. Honorable mention to my favorite dish: prawns with cuttlefish ink on almond cream. For me the essence of the flavors of the Syracuse area.

23/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant. Good level of service. Something to review on the meat menu. Objectively not up to the level of the fish one in terms of quality and execution. Wines a little expensive.

04/01/2024: Bel posto. Si mangia benissimo. La gentilezza della proprietaria e delle cameriere è proverbiale, Menù abbastanza completo e piatti presentati alla perfezione. Andate senza nessun problema. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Prezzi nella media di Ortigia.

10/12/2023: Locale piccolo ma accogliente, personale simpatico ed efficiente. Abbiamo ordinato una carbonara di mare e un tonno in crosta di pistacchi. Non velocissimo il servizio, ma poi la qualità e quantità ha ripagato l’attesa. Solo peccato per i tovaglioli di carta. Consigliato!

06/04/2024: I enjoyed a high quality lunch today, thankfully we sat at a perfect little table outside in the shade. We started with the vegetable platter, which was an exciting array of lightly seasoned cooked vegetables we had just seen at the local market. It is hard to find nice fresh vegetables at restaurants in Sicily, this really served them all up. We also each had a pasta. I had the tagliolini with mussels, my husband had the ravioli with tomato and basil. Both were really fresh tasting, the mussels especially nice. Service was quick, friendly and courteous. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

06/04/2024: Friendly service. Unfortunately it is not good value for money. Expensive for what it is. Positioning a little too touristy perhaps. The first clue is the caponata which is not at the level of what you can taste a few streets further.

20/03/2024: Having entered here by chance, while we were walking around Ortigia, Dr Villa (ophthalmologist) and I, also attracted by the beautiful location, ate divinely good fish. And I would especially like to point out the goodness of the fried swordfish and caponata, and finally two special fish-based first courses. I conclude with the friendliness and professionalism of the owners Sabrina and Lorenzo.
