Accolti molto bene, ci siamo accomodati all'interno in una bella saletta e abbiamo goduto di una magnifica cena affidandoci ai consigli del titolare. 08/03/2025: Immaginate! Una bellissima serata di fine agosto...in una città che amiamo... insieme a "persone" che occupano un posto importante nel nostro cuore... Quale migliore idea se non quella di trascorrere la serata in uno dei locali più belli e importanti di Siracusa: una serata al "don Camillo"! Coccolati dal primo all'ultimo istante... Gentilezza, affabilità, eleganza, professionalità ci hanno circondati dal primo momento...il cibo... poi... che dire! Ogni piatto è stato presentato con elegante semplicità, descritto in ogni minimo dettaglio e ha soddisfatto pienamente tutte le nostre aspettative... Esplosione di sapori, profumi, consistenze ed emozioni... Grazie... Grazie di cuore Lucilla e Angelo ... Grazie di cuore Tiziana e Salvo... Grazie di cuore chef Giovanni... Esperienza indimenticabile! Torneremo sicuramente!

07/03/2025: Premetto che qualche mese fa ero già stato in questo ristorante ed ero rimasto veramente molto contento sia per il servizio ma anche per la bontà del percorso degustazione di pesce, qualche settimana fa ho deciso di prenotare ma purtroppo non sono rimasti soddisfatto come la prima volta, prezzo della degustazione aumentato da 80 a 100 euro a persona, la quantità delle portate del primo e del secondo invece di rimanere invariate o addirittura di essere più abbondanti rispetto alla prima esperienza dato l ' aumenti di prezzo inspiegabilmente sono diminuite di tantissimo, pasta con ricci e gamberi a mala pena 2 forchettate e Anche la porzione di tonno come secondo molto più piccola rispetto alla prima volta, credo che aumentando il prezzo non si possa addirittura diminuire così drasticamente la quantità della portata del primo e del secondo peccato perché la prima volta mi era piaciuto molto, seconda esperienza a distanza di qualche mese invece abbastanza deludente per il prezzo che si paga si dovrebbe uscire sazi e contenti ma non e stato cosi....peccato.

31/10/2024: In the meat plate, there are 4 types of meat 2 peaces each for 16 euros that look weird and too expensive (not tasty as well). Roast beef looks good but is completely tasteless. Swordfish is overroasted and covered with a lot of bitter oil, and it's served with eggplants of disgusting semi-liquid consistency. Canneloni itself is good, but the minced meat filling is too finely chopped and not cooked well. Not a single dish was finished that is too bad for 80 euros for 3 persons.

06/03/2025: Restaurant located a stone's throw from the sea. All the tuna dishes are really good. Good value for money.

01/10/2024: Ristorante piccolino posizionato nella parte più esterna di Ortigia, dietro il mercato. Abbiamo prenotato tramite The Fork con uno sconto strabiliante e tutto è andato benissimo. Innanzi tutto il servizio: due ragazze di cui una, la responsabile, professionale ed attenta, l'altra molto giovane a cui si perdona un po' di ansia nel gestire il tavolo :-) Le pietanze ottime. Soprattutto il tonno, per qualità e tecnica di cottura: eccezionale. Sull'arancino un appunto: era ancora freddo all'interno. Conto perfetto CONSIGLIATISSIMO

25/11/2024: A wonderful Sicilian meal in a relaxed and calm restaurant. The service was wxceptional and all our fish doshes and pastas were tasty and well made. Local wine was served and orive was reasonable. A perfect meal in the most charming old town!

20/11/2024: Definitely the least pretentious restaurant in Syracuse with a renowned search for the authenticity of Sicilian cuisine. Great knowledge of wine in general and local wines in particular. Friendly, smiling and complicit service. Discreet rather jazzy musical atmosphere. Avoid the terrace because of the crowds of tourists. Excellent spoken French. In short, not to be missed!

11/03/2025: We organized a regional sporting event and at Gianni's we found the best location and the best service in the whole city. Nice and helpful. Advised!

02/12/2024: A small bar near the train station and a few steps from Corso Gelone. Excellent sweet and savory pieces and, if necessary, also abundant and quality first and second courses. Ah... with Gianni there is never a shortage of kindness and friendliness.

09/03/2025: A very well-kept place with good food at a very good price. I recommend the anchovies with orange, octopus a la Luciana and a very tasty rabbit with pepper.

21/02/2025: We strongly advise against it. Mixed fried fish for €15 which had nothing mixed about it (squid rings and defrosted prawns with very little flavour) grilled swordfish with swordfish which was only one, fine, fine and dry and the same two king prawns again for €15. The children had pasta, the little one had 4 paccheri counted on a plate, not much even for him... A ridiculous imitation of "nouvelle cuisine", my daughter's Bolognese was disgusting just by looking at it poor... the sauce seemed to be made with ketchup and the spaghetti were a single block... But not even two spaghetti are you capable of cooking?! We were the first to sit at the table and the bathrooms were already dirty, we should have already understood from there what the situation would be like. I give it two stars only for the name of the beer which made me laugh (see photo) and for the painting... But otherwise I'm sorry, I don't understand people who give 5 stars to a restaurant like this. Furthermore, recommended by a local, who visibly has no taste (or is a friend of the restaurateur). A tourist trap and that's it. February 2025 - I now see the manager's comment (from 2024). Our visit dates back to 2019. If you no longer have the beer in the photo and don't make the Bolognese anymore (it was spaghetti with tomato sauce, I'm not sure if there was any meat in it, they were so unwatchable) I can't know. I don't know if you have changed management, if you now clean the bathrooms or if the food is better. But six years ago we ate in your restaurant and the comments made refer to that period. I'm sorry but I stand by it. Other Internet users will be able to check whether things have changed and, if so, will post their own laudatory note.

27/10/2024: Accolto da un personale gentilissimo, ci siamo gustati un’ottima cena tipica siciliana. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Il locale è caratteristico e c’è la possibilità di visitare il museo della famiglia Modica-Nicolaci.

04/03/2025: This is a must when you are in siracusa-ortigia area They have 4 levels: First level:Solarium (june-september) Second level :Aperitivo bar level 2 the view💥 Third level: The charm in this restaurant i think it’s been there from the 60s. excellent from pasta to raw seafood and fish selection. And of course the pizzeria on the top level👌
