03/04/2024: Beer was ice cold and so was the service, I like those two. Food was the worst I’ve had in years. Tasted like a day in bed tomorrow.
01/04/2024: Tourist trap. Not sure why this place gets such high reviews but it’s not very local at all. Everyone eating there is a tourist and I totally regret going there versus walking further into Ortigia - even if those places are touristy, at least you have good views!
The portions were very generous. The pistachio ravioli was very bland and the seafood pasta was not fresh. We didn’t finish either one.

17/03/2024: Extremely narrow place, too many tables in a small space, damaging the privacy of the customer, making him uncomfortable to spend a pleasant lunch. The dishes are very lacking in quality and presentation and do not justify the extremely high bill, considering that it is in the low tourist season and in a modest seaside resort.

07/04/2024: Food not at all refined, very touristy and done for the sake of it. Anyone who wants to taste the real Sicily should go elsewhere. We reluctantly left the entire second course on our plate and they didn't even bother to ask us why. Never again.
06/04/2024: This is the second time we go to this place where the food is delicious but the service this time leaves something to be desired after ordering starters and first courses I ask the girl should we also order the second courses so she already knows everything? He replies, we don't need it, we'll order them later, but at 2.30pm he tells me that the kitchen is now closed to order 3 mixed fried fish. At that point I got up and paid the bill for what I had consumed, avoiding disturbing anyone because of the bitter and sweet coffee we had. in the pastry shop

02/04/2024: A wonderful dinner... the raw material is treated with love, to bring out the best it can offer in terms of flavors and sublime sensory sensations. The Scala dei Turchi menu was divine, superlative in every aspect. Perhaps the desserts aren't up to par with the other courses, but they are, in any case, delicious! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the Chef's welcome, to his presence to illustrate each dish, to the pleasure of experiencing a unique emotion!
12/03/2024: In an ordinary street in an ordinary town (with a past of splendour) a dark shop window that is not attractive. Inside a world of unique flavors. Recipes that don't resemble anything you've already tasted. I have been lucky enough to eat at this superlative restaurant several times. The last one last night. And I still found refined surprises. As always. An inexhaustible imagination animates this great chef. Added to the amazing food is the attentive, very kind and spontaneous service. Present but not looming. The chef and his lady are worth knowing. Friendly and professional. I highly recommend this unforgettable Sicilian stop if you love the flavors of the Mediterranean, the land, the sea, the scents and the memories.

The portions are generous and delicious.
You can enjoy it both on site and on the beach with take away, which is just a stone's throw away!

You need to book well in advance, at least for dinner.
✨️ Fresh paccheri with sardines, wild fennel, pine nuts, raisins, anchovies, herbs and crunchy breadcrumbs.
✨️Fresh busiate with pistachio, prawns, ragusano cheese, lemon and pepper.
And nothing... we can still smell, taste ❤️
The raw dishes are excellent, their couscous with squid ink and sea urchins is famous.
We paid around 50 euros per person and left full and satisfied!

27/03/2024: This morning we had breakfast in this bar, after the 9am Mass in the church, practically opposite. The arancini are excellent with both meat and butter, they make other types, but at the moment they were finished... the calzones were also good, but nothing special, even if they cost €2.30 at this price, I also ate some gourmet. There are tables outside so you can eat on site.
They also sell cigarettes inside.

24/03/2024: Ardigna is a guarantee! Everything is excellent, there are waiting times for a table worthy of the NHS but it's really worth it!
12/03/2024: Always a guarantee! Excellent and plentiful food, good value for money, attentive and courteous staff, owner always kind and helpful. I recommend it, now more than ever, given that they are fixing the provincial road, so reaching the place is not complicated.

06/04/2024: The food is excellent, the pasta is good, the dishes are well prepared, the meat is cooked correctly, the house wine really pleased us too.
I recommend it, it's really worth trying.
Environments We didn't stay in the main room, we stayed in an additional room at the address next door, I thought it was even better, as the main one seemed a little too hot.
We didn't get a starter or dessert, it was €40 for each person.
