08/12/2024: Great food I took a baked cassata for home, excellent, I divinely recommend excellent Palermitans.

15/12/2024: Four adults had dinner, putting those working in the kitchen to the test 😅 each of us ordered different dishes! They didn't miss a beat, both with the quality of the dishes and with the service, for me it deserves five stars on everything, even the environment is very pleasant.

03/12/2024: Sober but clean and tidy environment. Perfect service. Excellent food and decent portions. The only small flaw, for a fish restaurant, is a not very extensive menu. Anyway I'll be back!

05/08/2024: Based on the principle that "the murderer always returns to the scene of the crime", I decided to revisit a restaurant where I had always enjoyed myself: Sale Grosso. I started with a remarkable dish of spaghetti with clams and then continued in my best tradition with an excellent mixed fry. All washed down with one of my favorite wines, Vermentino (of which I never remember whether the production is Tuscan or Sardinian, both excellent in any case). The trip ended with an excellent cream ice cream produced by the Gelateria delle Moline (incidentally: one of the best ice cream shops on earth). What can I say: as Brancaleone da Norcia says... Adelante, adelante... towards Sale Grosso!

01/07/2024: Sono stato in questo posto di recente… accoglienza perfetta, pietanze squisite. Ero stato 4 anni fa in questo posto ed è rimasto esattamente come mo ricordavo… In particolare, consiglio i tortellini in crema di parmigiano e le polpette di mortadella… ma nel complesso è veramente tutto molto buono!

03/11/2024: Confused and unsophisticated menu. Serving staff/owners without tact and sympathy. Not cheap. There's better in Modena! The desserts are good.

27/10/2024: I was there a week ago Both, husband and wife, were at us throughout lunch telling us how we should eat the dishes Place deserted on Sunday lunch so they had time to put pressure on us At the time of the bill they shoot us €163 between three 3 starters 3 first courses 2 desserts 2 coffees 1 water and 1 bottle of wine 54.50 each We pay and go out, but on the way back we think we have paid too much and looking on the site we redo the calculations which obviously do not bring I immediately called the owner asking for the price of the wine which I couldn't find on the site He tells me 30 so I explain to him what happened and doing the math again he apologizes but (coincidentally) he had reversed the numbers We should have paid 136 and not 163 and therefore he would have given us back €27 (fortunately I live in the area) if it had happened to a tourist he certainly would not have been able to recover the money When I call him to make an agreement he tells me that he has recalculated and it is €26 I reply that maybe the accounts should have been done when we paid I go to the appointment with the intention of giving him the euro but in the end he gives me €27 otherwise he wouldn't have stood up to the lie of the reversed numbers He hands me a bill with increased prices to have it brought to 136 DON'T GO THERE ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS PS: when I arrived he didn't have any money and he borrowed it from a friend
