22/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during lunchtime and were greeted with a warm welcome, the same warmth we later found in the dishes rich in flavors from Southern Italy and beyond. The gratinated scallops, the cuttlefish, octopus, and vegetable salad, the scialatielli pasta with mussels, clams, and cherry tomatoes were excellent, and we finished with the authentic Neapolitan baba, while the rice cake was made according to the authentic local recipe (delicious). The prices may be a bit high for the dishes not included in the daily menu, but we were satisfied with the quality and quantity and highly recommend it.

22/08/2025: Being French and passing through the region, we stopped in for the evening, as we couldn't find any other restaurants open in the area. We were warmly welcomed, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly; they even offered us focaccia with an aperitif. I highly recommend it; the dishes are simple and delicious, the meat cooked to perfection, and the pizza and pasta are excellent.

18/06/2025: Ottimo ristorante, che in tanti anni ha sempre mantenuto una qualità altissima sia delle materie prime che delle preparazioni. Cucina originale siciliana, semplice e di altissimo livello. Servizio cordiale e attento. Uno dei posti nei quali io e la famiglia ritorniamo sempre con grande piacere.

05/06/2025: Excellent Sicilian cuisine restaurant in Bologna. Very good octopus with potatoes, not the usual octopus. Then the stuffed squid which is like a trip to Sicily. A spectacle for the palate. Good rosé sparkling wine by the glass. Excellent lemon sorbet with mint. Delicious zibibbo passito which is difficult to find (flavors that I have not tasted for 15 years). A place with a perfect and relaxing atmosphere with jazz music. The owner, Attilio, with extraordinary courtesy.

29/08/2025: We discovered this excellent fish restaurant during an evening stroll. As we walked past, we admired the beautiful platters served outside and decided to enjoy dinner here. We ordered the house menu and various fish dishes and were not disappointed (grilled chicory with spinach, ravioli with lobster sauce and fish ragù, grilled swordfish and fish skewers, pistachio cream and lemon sorbet for dessert). The prices are very good and not overpriced for such cuisine and good service (tablecloth and candlelight included). Thank you for a lovely evening and a definite recommendation for all fish lovers. Located in a lively restaurant and bar area within the beautiful old town of Bologna. P.S. Don't arrive too late, as some fish dishes might be sold out, as the fish doesn't come from the freezer. English-speaking waiters are available.

The cuisine is truly delightful, with a strong Sicilian influence thanks to the chef from Messina, who brings authentic Trinacria flavors to the table. I enjoyed the pumpkin cappellacci with butter and sage, a typical Ferrara dish: delicious! There are also other traditional Ferrara dishes, but the heart of the restaurant remains Sicilian, so it's best to adjust your expectations if you're looking for a truly local experience. 25/07/2025: My rating is an average of the food (always subjective, I liked some dishes and didn't really understand others), the location (perhaps the most well-kept and pretty internal courtyard I've found in Bologna) and the service (unacceptable for the menu, costs and location).
