It offers a set menu with excellent first and second course selections at a great price.
There's a good vegetable buffet.
Parking is a bit of a hassle, as you have to find one on the street nearby.

15/11/2025: I spent some time working in the province of Bologna with my team (all Neapolitans), and this restaurant never made us miss Naples for a single day; it felt like home. Impeccable staff, a refined atmosphere, and simply amazing cuisine. I recommend it to everyone.

20/10/2025: We arrived in Bologna late in the evening and found this wonderful, quaint trattoria near our accommodation.
The food was fantastic, the excellent wine selection, and the competence and warmth of our lovely host, Alessandra, were exceptional!
Truly a lovely, authentic experience!

01/12/2025: I have to revise my review. I used to appreciate the place and the food, but now it seems to be getting worse. It's a shame, but the portions are small and not particularly good.
It's a shame the menu is unusual. I'd like to try again because the place is very welcoming.

Appetizer: Cantabrian anchovies on a bed of stracciatella cheese, followed by a huge, super-delicious and light fried fish platter.

18/06/2025: Ottimo ristorante, che in tanti anni ha sempre mantenuto una qualità altissima sia delle materie prime che delle preparazioni. Cucina originale siciliana, semplice e di altissimo livello. Servizio cordiale e attento. Uno dei posti nei quali io e la famiglia ritorniamo sempre con grande piacere.

Very good octopus with potatoes, not your average octopus.
Then the stuffed squid, which is like a journey to Sicily. A feast for the palate.
Good sparkling rosé wine by the glass.
Excellent lemon sorbet with mint.
Delicious and hard-to-find Zibibbo Passito (flavors I haven't tasted in 15 years).
The place has a perfect, relaxing atmosphere with jazz music.
The owner, Attilio, is exceptionally kind.

17/10/2025: I waited to visit the restaurant several times before writing this review.
If I had done so sooner, I would have given it fewer stars. This evening, I had an excellent, fresh arancini. Other times, I've had more than one doubt about the freshness of the product, and after tasting tonight's, I'm sure my doubts were well founded.
I hope to change from 4 to 5 stars with the next review.

The menu consists mostly of seafood, although there are also some options for vegetarians and meat-eaters.
From Tuesday to Friday, the restaurant offers a lunch menu that changes weekly.
Good value for money.

13/11/2025: Perfect breakfast at Gardenia on Via del Triumvirato in Bologna, inspired by Sicilian pastries: crispy croissants with generous fillings, excellent coffee, and always friendly staff. A true neighborhood favorite!

The food is excellent, definitely not your typical "riviera" seafood.
The pasta with sardines and arancini are truly excellent.

17/10/2025: Incredibly unfriendly. The food was really okay. But: the price/performance ratio was absolutely not justified. We had been to a really nice restaurant the night before with warm hospitality. The experience at this restaurant was anything but positive. Very snarky comments because we supposedly didn't order enough. A rip-off. We won't go there again!
