The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and offer amazing suggestions and the food is ***AMAZING*** Do yourself a favor if you are in Rome and go here. Ask for suggestions, you will not be disappointed. The manager was serving us and made a few suggestions and every single thing he suggested was incredible. Not just “good”, but “wow I need a minute to process this experience”. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

02/11/2025: lot of tourist traps in Trastevere but this place is legit - we had saltimbocca and the steak with porcini special - they source stuff properly and care about quality in the wine and meat they serve. The locals know this. Manager is a great host and the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly, fluent in English and Italian.

What I ate - • Grilled pecorino with honey, walnuts and truffle is a must-try, perfectly balanced and rich. • Strozzapreti amatriciana is packed with chunky bacon and bold flavor. Looks small but it was hearty. • Their bread has the perfect mix of char and chew—you’ll want every bite. • Staff are friendly, fast, and make you feel welcome. It’s a place that stands out from all the usual menus nearby. You won’t regret choosing it.

07/12/2025: An authentic restaurant, despite being in the tourist area next to the Pantheon, it maintains the feel of a family-run Italian eatery. The food and service were excellent, and the value for money was very good. After dessert, they offered us limoncello, a lovely touch.

03/12/2025: One of the best restaurants in San Giovanni: their first courses are delicious (the homemade egg pasta, both with traditional Roman sauces and their own creations, is exquisite), and the desserts are tasty and satisfying. I've been there many times and they've never disappointed; the space is small but warm and welcoming. It's an ideal option for a dinner for two, a foursome of friends, or a family evening. Keep up the good work!

29/11/2025: A lovely place with friendly, attentive staff. Despite being busy, we waited a reasonable amount of time, and the service was quick. Be aware that the space is limited, and you should also consider that waiters also serve in the adjacent restaurant, which means the entrance door is constantly open (in winter, it gets cold). Our dishes were well-prepared and not banal, and the bill was fair.

08/11/2025: Intimate and welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and excellent food!! My friends and I started with an amazing artichoke appetizer, moved on to an excellent carbonara, and finished with delicious homemade desserts! I can only give it 5 stars!! We'll definitely be back next time we visit Rome!

22/11/2025: Since I was leaving Rome tomorrow, I carefully searched for a place to have dinner. The atmosphere was exactly what I loved, and the menu was beautifully presented and thoughtful. The staff was friendly and helpful, so I had a comfortable meal. When I told them I was on my honeymoon, they offered me cookies and lemoncello. I hope I make some wonderful memories on my last day.🥰
