07/11/2025: This place is a *gem*. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and comfortable, the staff is incredibly friendly and offer amazing suggestions and the food is ***AMAZING*** Do yourself a favor if you are in Rome and go here. Ask for suggestions, you will not be disappointed. The manager was serving us and made a few suggestions and every single thing he suggested was incredible. Not just “good”, but “wow I need a minute to process this experience”. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

01/11/2025: What a gem! Of all the food we had in Italy, this was by far the best- so much so, we went twice for dinner! It was in a quaint little alleyway neighborhood, not far from Ponte Lungo Metro Station, and we fell in love with the restaurant, the family that runs it, their house wine, their food, the quality, the quantity, and THE PRICE! Very affordable for premium food! We really loved their sausage gnocchi, rack of ribs: GET.THE.ITALIAN.RACK.OF.RIBS!! (Yes, I’m yelling at you- you won’t regret it)! We aren’t big dessert eaters but so glad we didn’t skip the heavenly caramel, ricotta dessert. We will keep this place in our hearts forever and will come back if we are ever in Rome again! Thank you, beautiful people 🥰😍🇮🇹

The food is authentic and genuine, just like the food my grandmother used to cook: simple flavors, yet rich in tradition and care. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for feeling at home from the moment you arrive. The quality-price ratio is excellent; it's hard to find better. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend and will gladly return to.

02/11/2025: lot of tourist traps in Trastevere but this place is legit - we had saltimbocca and the steak with porcini special - they source stuff properly and care about quality in the wine and meat they serve. The locals know this. Manager is a great host and the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly, fluent in English and Italian.

What I ate - • Grilled pecorino with honey, walnuts and truffle is a must-try, perfectly balanced and rich. • Strozzapreti amatriciana is packed with chunky bacon and bold flavor. Looks small but it was hearty. • Their bread has the perfect mix of char and chew—you’ll want every bite. • Staff are friendly, fast, and make you feel welcome. It’s a place that stands out from all the usual menus nearby. You won’t regret choosing it.

31/10/2025: I unexpectedly received a bonus on a website (the one shown in the photo) and decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. Went for this truffle pasta — the aroma alone was amazing! The portion was generous, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Thanks to that bonus, the evening felt extra cozy and pleasant.

22/10/2025: Small but very welcoming place, excellent first courses and a delicious second course of beef with balsamic vinegar. The welcome and service are always attentive. I highly recommend it! 😉

The staff was friendly and helpful, so I had a comfortable meal. When I told them I was on my honeymoon, they offered me cookies and lemoncello. I hope I make some wonderful memories on my last day.🥰
