29/06/2025: We do not give less than two stars out of respect for the people who work there. A review is not trivial, it serves to guide customers in choices that can mark you forever. The quality compared to the price is poor, 2 decent appetizers, greasy fried dumplings, selection of parmesan, nothing so exciting, a disappointment, the strangled priests, practically a mush. Far from great cuisine! And the nice bill for 2 of almost 80 euros with only water, slightly a few euros above average, they did not take into account the first course that surely the famous Alessandro Borghese that they boast about in advertising would not have taken into account. A similar dish from the kitchen was not even brought out. Excellent service.

23/06/2025: A truly welcoming place, located in the center of Ravenna. The typical Romagna cuisine is excellent: we were particularly impressed by the goodness of the cappelletti al ragù and the zuppa inglese. The service was courteous and efficient, helping to make the experience even more pleasant. Definitely worth trying!

15/06/2025: Excellent trattoria from Romagna! Friendly, welcoming, always smiling staff who make you feel at home. Excellent food, home cooking and tasty and genuine dishes. The atmosphere is very reminiscent of a Sunday lunch at grandma's. If I were to pass by Faenza again, I would return. Highly recommended for a rustic lunch/dinner!

The atmosphere is truly enchanting, especially in the small garden outside, the dishes are prepared with great care and of high quality, typical Romagna cuisine with specialties such as (pasta paglia e fieno) simply delicious. The large plates of appetizers are enough for 2 or 3 people with local delicacies that you absolutely have to try! Exceptional value for money and top courtesy of the staff 🔝. What can I say? We will definitely be back!

The hygiene is not like in an operating room. The host may seem heavy to some. If you want a cold experience, where you know how much you will spend per gram, without dips, go elsewhere.

12/07/2025: What can I say about the three of briscola for someone who lives in the area anyway? And therefore, certainly more critical than someone arriving for a vacation or for tourism. The location? In my opinion, it's very beautiful, a renovated farmhouse with a large outdoor space ideal for parking. The food is authentic, often sourced from local producers. There's a wide variety of first courses, made at Al Mattarello just as the people of Romagna like them. The service isn't the fastest or most organized. But, as I was saying, this isn't a problem in a vacation atmosphere. It's an ideal place to experience our cuisine in the relaxation of a traditional Romagna establishment. The locals also love it, and I think that's very important!

11/07/2025: Delicious barbecue with pork and veal meat and mixed grilled vegetables. 11 july: two barbecue grills, one with mixed meat and the second with mutton (filet, ribs and leg) and Sangiovese wine. Delicous, well-cooked, perfectly salted, and topped with some aro,amici herbs. Perfect, in my humble opinion.
