14/01/2025: Definitely innovative dishes but in my opinion distant from the Salento tradition, prepared and presented with care. What can I say? An experience to repeat. High prices but it's okay. The mark-up on wine is excessive.

06/10/2024: Sinceramente, no sé cómo llegamos allí. Nos perdimos en el campo debido a señales de tráfico engañosas o persistentes, pero al final, llegamos a un pueblo muy hermoso con un centro histórico encantador. El restaurante está justo en el centro y es bastante grande. Tiene un amplio menú con todo. Todos comimos platos a base de pescado y camarones. Todo estaba delicioso y bien presentado. Estábamos muy satisfechos.

06/01/2025: What a wonderful place, I just came across this restaurant via Google and it is perhaps one of the best I've found after 2 years of living in Italy. I selected the tasting menu, but only with starters and a pasta dish (you can also get one with a second main dish) and it's was a taste sensation as 7 (yes 7!) amazing starters came out and at only €28 for this tasting menu it was unbelievable value especially for the quality of the food and service. You must go if you are in Gallipoli!

08/02/2025: Since we lived nearby and the comments sounded good, we went there in the evening. We weren't disappointed. Antipasti, pasta and wine were very, very good. Ambience ok. I can recommend it

11/09/2024: It's not possible to put more stars, damn.... We have been holidaying in Salento for 7 years and Mr. Jameson is a must... it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise! The place that started out with a very "Irish pub" style with wood everywhere (which I absolutely loved), after the pandemic underwent renovations that lightened and refreshed its appearance. The food, however, has remained the same... excellent, plentiful and refined. They offer typical dishes from Salento but with that extra note that makes them excel over every other restaurant. The service is impeccable, with an elegant simplicity that is the envy of the most beautiful tables.... well, if you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for? MOVE!!!! Everyone at "Jameson"!!!

02/02/2025: It was a wonderful discovery. The location is very beautiful, characterized by star vaults and stone walls, also tastefully furnished. The cuisine is superb, everything we ate was of excellent quality and sublimely prepared. The tagliolini with tuna steak... deserve praise. The service is also good, the staff are courteous and efficient, as well as friendly.
