14/11/2025: An incredible gastronomic experience. Local products from traditional Salento cuisine given a modern twist. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The restaurant was lovely with great background music. We ordered the 8-course tasting menu and it was the best choice. We ate quite a lot and left absolutely stuffed. I'll definitely be back to try the other tasting menus. It was worth every penny.

26/09/2025: Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: it's simply beautiful and unexpected. You'd never expect the beauty and attention to detail I found on Tuesday evening in this sprawling establishment. The same attention to detail is evident in the food and service, which are excellent, excellent, excellent, if not excellent. It's a given that I'll be returning even though I'm 1,100 km away. Thank you and sincere compliments.

25/09/2025: After a year, I returned to this charming, historic restaurant, composed of many small rooms, but I was disappointed. The traditional Salento cuisine, once of a notable standard, has unfortunately declined in both quality and presentation. All the appetizers were mediocre, the first courses, including the maritati, were decent, and the guaccetto was exceptional. The desserts were good, and the recommended wine was mediocre. The service was friendly but confused and unprofessional. The price was high for the quality of the food.

24/10/2025: Dining at Osteria del Vico was a truly wonderful experience. The food combinations and presentation were surprising, and the excellent quality of the ingredients was evident. The dishes had authentic flavors that made you wish they would never end. The raw shrimp were simply breathtaking! Congratulations and thank you for your unique delicacies.

16/11/2025: I'm giving it an excellent review because I went there today with two friends and found it welcoming, with a nice atmosphere and an owner who was able to give us great advice on both food and wine. The only flaw is the bathroom, which isn't the cleanest, but that may not be due to the place itself but rather to the politeness of us patrons. Highly recommended! ❤️

23/11/2025: NEVER AGAIN We had dinner with eight people at Osteria degli Spiriti, and the experience was completely unacceptable, absolutely forgettable, especially due to the terrible handling of the truffle. The final bill would have been justified if only they had shown us what truffle they were serving, how much they had grated on our plates, and at least informed us where it came from, considering the disproportionate price of each course. We found the truffle directly on the tagliolini, without seeing the piece or the weight: three dishes were overpriced, and one even more, with differences that could only make sense if you showed what you were selling! The same goes for the fried eggs with truffle: an insane price per dish, again without showing anything. A total lack of transparency. Plus, the service was incredibly long: seated at 9:00 PM, up at 12:30 AM. In return, we were treated to two cantucci each and a small piece of panettone, kindly offered by the house. Such a generous gesture that it (almost) made us forget the bill.

22/11/2025: We had a first course with ragù and meatballs (good), a classic dish with broad bean and chicory puree (excellent), and a fish main course, a very mediocre cod. This cod, in addition to being extremely salty, was immersed in a liter of cream (also extremely salty), which was not requested and not indicated on the menu, a serious matter precisely because the presence of so much lactose in a fish dish is not indicated. Instead of the rosemary potatoes as advertised, they served us a sort of puffed rice spread over this liter of cream, which they claimed was actually potatoes, but puffed. The price of the dishes is insane, unjustifiably high, and the portions are rather small.

12/10/2025: If you want to try authentic Salento cuisine, this is the place to be. Everything was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

06/10/2025: The restaurant is simply decorated and the staff is very helpful. I like traditional cuisine from the south of Italy and we had the following; Crostino with Scante ricotta, sautéed tomato and cacioricotta Crostino with burrata Cantabrian anchovies and lemon zest Eggplant parmigiana Homemade tagliatelle with pesto, crispy capocollo and cherry tomatoes Homemade ricciatelle with 14 fresh tomatoes, pecorino and basil and drank excellent homemade red wine Li Veli Susumaniello everything was very good, a real gastronomic delight.. (I copied the names of the dishes from their web menu)

03/12/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious, and the menu focuses on traditional Salento cuisine. No fish. Definitely worth a try.

01/12/2025: Angiulino is always a pleasant reunion! I wanted to introduce a close friend who lives in Rome to classic Salento cuisine, and I must say he really enjoyed it! I'll gladly return.

15/11/2025: I went to this restaurant for a business dinner, requesting a completely vegan meal. Even though the restaurant has a traditional feel, they adapted to my needs and offered a wide selection of delicious dishes! They were very attentive and thoughtful, making my experience excellent! I highly recommend it.
