12/01/2025: Bad impression. You can't ask for 18 euros for 30 grams of linguine with a grated (3 grams) of oysters. Shame. Pharmacy not for the healthy but for the starving. There were seven of us, when we went out, dissatisfied, we ate a dessert at a kiosk. Never again.

11/09/2024: It's not possible to put more stars, damn.... We have been holidaying in Salento for 7 years and Mr. Jameson is a must... it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise! The place that started out with a very "Irish pub" style with wood everywhere (which I absolutely loved), after the pandemic underwent renovations that lightened and refreshed its appearance. The food, however, has remained the same... excellent, plentiful and refined. They offer typical dishes from Salento but with that extra note that makes them excel over every other restaurant. The service is impeccable, with an elegant simplicity that is the envy of the most beautiful tables.... well, if you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for? MOVE!!!! Everyone at "Jameson"!!!

06/10/2024: Sinceramente, no sé cómo llegamos allí. Nos perdimos en el campo debido a señales de tráfico engañosas o persistentes, pero al final, llegamos a un pueblo muy hermoso con un centro histórico encantador. El restaurante está justo en el centro y es bastante grande. Tiene un amplio menú con todo. Todos comimos platos a base de pescado y camarones. Todo estaba delicioso y bien presentado. Estábamos muy satisfechos.

14/11/2024: Cenamos aquí un lunes por la noche muy tranquilo en noviembre - éramos las únicas personas en el restaurante durante la mayor parte de la noche. A pesar de que disfrutamos de nuestra noche. El camarero era amable y la comida era sabrosa. Queríamos probar algunos platos locales y el menú no decepcionó. Nos gustó especialmente las sardinas fritas para empezar. El camarero recomendó una buena botella de vino local y terminamos nuestra comida con una deliciosa grappa!

02/01/2025: Osteria del Vico is an absolute treat in Gallipoli. The amazing family run osteria provides some of the freshest fish around! The pastas were phenomenal as was the tuna tartare, cacio e pepe style! The ragna pescatrice was unreal! Federico and his mom were so friendly and welcoming! We can’t wait to visit again. Top quality in Gallipoli!

09/12/2024: We received a warm welcome from the staff who then explained all the daily specials in English. They also guided us through the wine list and helped us make a selection. We started with the melange of local appetisers (sea and land), and each one was perfectly seasoned. Our mains were great, too, and when it came to dessert, they were kind enough to serve a little piece of everything as we simply couldn’t choose between all the wonderful options. Kind, accommodating, and delicious—would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce.

31/12/2024: This restaurant was recommended to us by several local people and it actually lived up to our expectations. Well-prepared typical dishes, quick and efficient service, friendly environment and reasonable prices. The choice of crockery is particular, all worn by time, which can be there, but it doesn't mean that it can be appreciated by everyone. I recommend a clearer separation between the services and the lounge.
