06/10/2025: The restaurant is simply decorated and the staff is very helpful. I like traditional cuisine from the south of Italy and we had the following; Crostino with Scante ricotta, sautéed tomato and cacioricotta Crostino with burrata Cantabrian anchovies and lemon zest Eggplant parmigiana Homemade tagliatelle with pesto, crispy capocollo and cherry tomatoes Homemade ricciatelle with 14 fresh tomatoes, pecorino and basil and drank excellent homemade red wine Li Veli Susumaniello everything was very good, a real gastronomic delight.. 24/10/2025: Dining at Osteria del Vico was a truly wonderful experience. The food combinations and presentation were surprising, and the excellent quality of the ingredients was evident. The dishes had authentic flavors that made you wish they would never end. The raw shrimp were simply breathtaking! Congratulations and thank you for your unique delicacies.

26/09/2025: Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: it's simply beautiful and unexpected. You'd never expect the beauty and attention to detail I found on Tuesday evening in this sprawling establishment. The same attention to detail is evident in the food and service, which are excellent, excellent, excellent, if not excellent. It's a given that I'll be returning even though I'm 1,100 km away. Thank you and sincere compliments.

25/09/2025: After a year, I returned to this charming, historic restaurant, composed of many small rooms, but I was disappointed. The traditional Salento cuisine, once of a notable standard, has unfortunately declined in both quality and presentation. All the appetizers were mediocre, the first courses, including the maritati, were decent, and the guaccetto was exceptional. The desserts were good, and the recommended wine was mediocre. The service was friendly but confused and unprofessional. The price was high for the quality of the food.

05/11/2025: Friendly service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. Everything seemed a bit reheated. It lacked flavor. The tomato sauce was very watery. The garlic carbonara wasn't very creamy. Sadly, it wasn't authentic Italian food at all. I wouldn't recommend it.

05/11/2025: The seafood paella was delicious, as were the appetizers: sangria was the highlight. I'll be back.

06/11/2025: This restaurant is located in the historic center of Lecce. The menu is clearly displayed, with prices listed at the door. Reservations are recommended, as it gets very crowded on holidays. Typical local dishes, with horse meat as a staple. I recommend the sagne with cacioricotta and tria with chickpeas. Prices are reasonable. They take and deliver orders very quickly.

01/11/2025: After reading reviews, we chose Angiulino, but our final rating was a pass. We're not critical, but if you only eat well, you're not going to be satisfied. Two minutes after ordering, not even time to go to the bathroom, the first courses arrived, which meant the pasta was already cooked... well... the bombette were unsalted, and we ate bland... the house Negramaro wine was good, as was the fried bread that accompanied the fava beans and chicory. We ate and paid within half an hour, which is to say, the logic is to vacate the tables quickly. A little disappointed...

26/08/2025: As the years pass, Osteria della Divina Provvidenza remains a trusted favorite. In the jungle of Lecce's restaurants, some of which are overly formal but lacking in substance, this restaurant remains the pinnacle of food, ensuring quality and satisfying a wide range of tastes with an interesting variety of dishes. The service is always attentive, professional, pleasant, and discreet. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, thanks to its multiple dining rooms. I highly recommend it.

24/08/2025: Our meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The brusque, nervous staff didn't inspire any positivity. It felt like management was improvised. I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it. Special mention goes to the foreign waiter, I think Indian, who stood out from the rest of the staff.

15/10/2025: The trattoria is traditional, small, and very welcoming, spread across two levels. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it seems the place is perhaps geared more toward foreigners. The dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, honest, but (perhaps with the exception of a few dishes) they don't impress with an explosion of flavors, despite maintaining a solid, traditional approach to cuisine. The cover charge (€1.00) is fair and in line with the type of service offered. The Antipasto della Casa (which was presented to us as a portion for two) was a bit disappointing: we didn't find a good balance between the price and the variety/quantity of the dishes. This could be an unfortunate exception due to the evening or our table, but it's an aspect that needs reconsidering.

14/10/2025: Our favourite trattoria in Lecce! Would highly recommend reserving a table because you would be extremely disappointed to miss out eating here! Always remember to ask what Nonna's fantasy is, we got extremely lucky and had a lobster pasta which was delicious.
