16/10/2025: Very traditional and beautiful place with a soul. Food is excellent and quickly served. Staff are professional and kind, speak great English. As usually in this type of old, traditional restaurants, tables are super squeezed and there is not so much space or privacy. I love it nonetheless.

18/11/2025: Milan is well worth a Mass! In my/our case, a restaurant...this restaurant! After a stroll along the Navigli, we stopped at this location. The quiet and intimate atmosphere (seating about thirty) fully satisfied our culinary appetites! There were four of us, and we ordered two braised meats, pappardelle with osso buco, and veal with tuna sauce—all delicious. And what about the desserts we tasted (excellent, to say the least), like the light and delicate tiramisu, apple pie, and torta della nonna? I stayed up all night and left satisfied, also because, besides the atmosphere, the service was more than excellent and friendly, and the bill was average... I'll conclude by saying that if I ever visit Milan again, I'll definitely try this Mass (restaurant)!! Recommended!!!!

16/11/2025: Wanted to visit a traditional Milanese restaurant during our visit to Milan and this spot did not disappoint. Both Ossobuco dishes were excellent, with very large portions and the Cotoletta was tender (and also huge). Staff were excellent, very welcoming and the homemade limoncello was poured freely as we left. Sad to have missed out on the Tiramisu! Thanks to the staff and the chefs 🤌

02/11/2025: We returned to this typical Milanese restaurant twice during our short stay in Milan. Since there were five of us, we tried many dishes, all delicious—starter, main course, and dessert. The service was excellent, the welcome superb, and the owner was very knowledgeable and truly friendly! Highly recommended!

Every time I come here, I feel pampered, both by the beautiful setting, the excellent cuisine, and the very friendly staff, not to mention the owner, who shines. It's hard to choose from all the delicious dishes on offer, but in the end I always fall for the ossobuco, the best I've ever had. The dishes were incredibly good and the ingredients were fresh, but what was particularly noteworthy was our incredibly friendly waiter Michael, who explained the house specialities to us and made recommendations. His very friendly and attentive manner ensured we had a wonderful evening. Truly remarkable and highly recommended.

The atmosphere is that of an elegant yet authentic Lombard farmhouse, with a cast-iron stove that welcomes you more than the waiter himself. The staff is attentive, kind, and discreet: the kind of service that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. The cuisine alternates solidity and delicacy. Gratinated cauliflower opens the dinner with restraint and sweetness, followed by an off-menu veal tartare: balanced, well-seasoned, and pleasantly crunchy thanks to the pine nuts. The fillet with foie gras and black truffle is convincing due to its cooking and sauce, but the truffle remains too timid to truly assert itself. The Milanese-style brains, a bold and now rare dish, brings a flavor of yesteryear to the table: authentic, bold, almost nostalgic, even if the modern plating takes away some of the poetry. The desserts tone things down slightly: the Rusumada lacks the expected zabaglione-like creaminess, while the chestnut meringue, too colorful and not very "chestnut," leaves a slightly uneven finish. The evening is lifted by the 2022 Syrah Cortona DOC, a generous and consistent wine, served at the right temperature, the ideal companion to the main courses. The bill—€187 for two—reflects the quality, with no surprises. A place that combines roots and moderation, capable of welcoming with sincerity. And outside, in the cold, silent courtyard, an old-fashioned parking attendant smiles: "'O core è core." And indeed, in here, the heart really does feel.

19/11/2025: Got deceived by the good reviews. Extremely high prices and small portions. We were a group of 6. My mother was feeling bad and she only ordered coffee and that fact was received disdainfully by the waiter who made her feel as if she was doing something wrong for not ordering a full meal. The food itself was decent,not bad but nothing special. TL;DR : Rude staff, expensive prices, decent food.
