Everything was truly delicious, traditional cuisine well-prepared and flavorful. The atmosphere is small, quaint, and very welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Milanese dishes!

02/05/2026: This is my second visit, and the place lives up to my expectations. The strong points are the welcome, the service, the menu, especially the meat-based one, and the attention to detail. I really appreciate the courage to maintain a traditional offering and atmosphere without sacrificing the elegance of those who live by trends. The secure garage next to the restaurant completes the experience. I'll gladly return, perhaps to the private dining room in the basement.

15/04/2026: I tried this Milanese osteria I found on Maps. The place is cute inside, with Italian music and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and quick, and we found a seat right away; the sweet treats offered at the end of the meal were also appreciated. The portions are really generous, so it's best to go on an empty stomach. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't entirely convince me: the flavors were unbalanced; for example, the gorgonzola was too full of walnuts. The location isn't the best either, especially if you're eating outside, as it's on a narrow street with lots of traffic.

11/04/2026: Milanese risotto with osso buco is fabulous. The Milanese cutlet is SUPER!!!! The staff is friendly and attentive, the owners are very kind. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. The Moscato is fabulous 😉👍

18/05/2026: One of the best restaurants with traditional Milanese cuisine. Their salad is very tender and fresh. Their osmobuko is wonderfully cooked and served on risotto ala Milanese. Wonderful local wine labels. Their desserts are one better than the other.... I highly recommend it!!!!

17/05/2026: I went there two years ago and was pleasantly surprised, but I didn't leave a review. I went back yesterday and was even more surprised at how little has changed (which isn't a given, given that many restaurants lower their quality year after year). The asparagus appetizers are fantastic, and the mondeghili are delicious. The risottos in general (yesterday we had the asparagus one) are good, creamy, and beautifully filled!!! The desserts, tarte tatin and zabaglione, are amazing in terms of flavor and balance (they don't make you sick). Exceptional staff, including a sommelier who recommends wine based on the dishes you choose. A place of the heart.

06/05/2026: A very elegant and welcoming restaurant. The Fassona beef tartare with truffle was excellent. The first courses were also good. We opted for tagliatella alla Bolognese and pacchero with clams and broccoli. The Bavarian heifer steak was also very good and tender, all accompanied by a nice Morellino di Scansano. The service from the entire staff was excellent.

20/05/2026: Coming to Milan and not trying their ossobuco is like missing Piazza Duomo. Served with their signature Risotto Giallo, it's the most tender and balanced in the city. No disregard for the Cotoletta and Mondeghili, which are also more than delicious. Sticking to appetizers, our recommendation is to not be afraid of vegetables and try the giardiniera: crunchy vegetables that, when prepared individually—according to the chef—retain their flavor. The wine list and dessert menu are also top-notch, and we recommend the sbriciolona—not exactly Milanese, but still true to the Lombardy region. The trattoria-like atmosphere makes for a relaxed and unpretentious dinner, as it should be when dining on traditional cuisine. Bravo!

06/05/2026: I was traveling nearby and needed dinner. I came in and was seated right away. I didn't have much time, so I ordered cacio e pepe. As soon as I was seated, the staff offered me a complimentary glass of prosecco and the classic bread basket. The cacio e pepe Milanese was good, and the portion size was a bit above restaurant portion sizes. I had a good time, and thank you. Now for the bill. Pasta cacio e pepe Milanese, a bottle of water, including a cover charge, €20. I was offered a complimentary glass of prosecco and a tramezzino appetizer.

28/05/2026: A Milanese trattoria with a twist for some dishes. Very good and friendly staff, equally friendly owners, and an excellent wine cellar. The risotto, in my opinion, had too much vinegar and was too acidic—a shame! The appetizers were good; pappardelle with ragù was too salty. The Milanese cutlet, revisited, was excellently breaded and cooked well, but...

30/12/2025: I've been following Cesare Battisti for a while; his cuisine intrigued me, and I wanted to try it for lunch. Expectations were very high, and... they weren't disappointed. Congratulations to everyone. More than a brigade, it was an army of attentive and harmonious young people... and then the food, speechless. Excellent products, expertly cooked and presented. The only drawback... I don't eat meat, and I would have expected more choice. Parking... A slap in the face to whoever wrote "difficulties," etc. There are two different parking lots 50 meters away, of course, paid, but that's the case everywhere in Milan. Let's hope for the next administration, but that has nothing to do with this... All things considered, it was a positive experience and definitely worth trying. Well done everyone.

30/12/2025: Drawn by the chef's cute videos, I rushed to City Life for the first time in my life for lunch at Ratanà. Parking isn't registered on Gmaps. The atmosphere is nice, nothing special; the City Life location seems cold to me. I had a truffle risotto, €80, and they didn't cut and weigh it at the table. It might be my fault for not usually looking at prices, but if I had seen it, I would have avoided it. Decent flavor, even too bland for me. Nothing exceptional. Then the mushroom skewer on mashed potatoes, a canteen dish, failed. Total €110, and they didn't serve coffee. The staff seemed average. I wanted a bitter, but the selection at the bar seemed poor. I won't go back, and yet it's always sold out.

01/06/2026: An excellent experience culminated in a huge mistake. We found a piece of white plastic in a tiramisu. I noticed it while I was eating it. It was an unpleasant sensation in my mouth that ruined my lunch. The piece of plastic resembled the edge of a plastic plate, measuring 3 cm long and 1 cm wide. It was absurd. I've never found anything like that on a plate. In any case, I would like to compliment the wait staff, who were kind and helpful. The quality of the food is unquestionable, but making these mistakes is extremely serious. We ate: Excellent beef carpaccio Excellent wagyu bresaola Delicious larded fillet Fabulous saffron risotto and ossobuco Dry cutlet, we didn't like it, nor have we had anything better Excellent tagliolini with shrimp 1 bottle of Pol Roger champagne Tiramisu: good flavor and presentation, but a complete failure Bill: €370 I suggest you pay more attention, especially in the kitchen

14/05/2026: I went for lunch today with my husband! Beautiful place, we had lunch under a wisteria-covered portico. It was a beautiful but not hot day, but it was worth it! The service was impeccable, and everyone was very nice and hospitable! The food was superb; we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate! The price was average! It was a challenge... I'd say we passed it, and we'll definitely be back... since we love traditional Milanese cuisine and it's close to home! See you soon, and thanks for everything.
