19/03/2026: Simply extraordinary. The stir-fried rice and wild boar stew are simply sublime. Extensive wine list. The price is reasonable.

18/03/2026: A quaint, well-kept, and welcoming venue. A small dining room on the ground floor and a basement room, with a well-stocked wine cellar, a stage for live music (on Fridays), and excellent acoustics. Very courteous and professional staff. Excellent quality cuisine. For dinner, a saffron risotto with ossobuco was served, a favorite with all diners, both for the rice and the quality of the meat, which was very tender and flavorful. I can't provide pricing information as I was attending a graduation dinner. Easily accessible by the Bicocca stop on the Lilac Metro line and a 5-minute walk.

15/04/2026: I tried this Milanese osteria I found on Maps. The place is cute inside, with Italian music and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and quick, and we found a seat right away; the sweet treats offered at the end of the meal were also appreciated. The portions are really generous, so it's best to go on an empty stomach. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't entirely convince me: the flavors were unbalanced; for example, the gorgonzola was too full of walnuts. The location isn't the best either, especially if you're eating outside, as it's on a narrow street with lots of traffic.

05/04/2026: Easter family lunch. Our table in the outdoor area was well-positioned and spaced apart from the other tables. Everything was excellent: the dishes, the service, and the final price. I've been three times within a few weeks and have always found the same quality in both the food and the staff. I highly recommend this osteria for both couples and small groups of friends/colleagues.

29/01/2026: Nothing special, except for the unjustifiably high prices! The quality of the ingredients is rather low, and the cooking technique is inadequate. Not knowing how to make a proper risotto is a serious problem for a restaurant boasting Milanese traditions. Not to mention the undercooked suckling pig, which poses a health risk. Never again.

29/03/2026: Beautiful place, classic decor, top-quality food and wines, and always helpful staff. The price is fair for the quality and size of the portions. Perhaps the classic appetizer could have been a little heavier, but it's perfect for a couple.

28/03/2026: It's our favorite place. The service is impeccable and everyone, from the waitress to the owners, is spectacular. The food is incredible. Going to Testina is a magical experience. Giving it 5 stars is an understatement!

11/04/2026: A traditional Italian restaurant. No frills, just lots of love. Fish is the specialty here, and it's delicious. The waiters are very accommodating when it comes to kids (no fish) and you won't be ripped off. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

30/12/2025: Drawn by the chef's cute videos, I rushed to City Life for the first time in my life for lunch at Ratanà. Parking isn't registered on Gmaps. The atmosphere is nice, nothing special; the City Life location seems cold to me. I had a truffle risotto, €80, and they didn't cut and weigh it at the table. It might be my fault for not usually looking at prices, but if I had seen it, I would have avoided it. Decent flavor, even too bland for me. Nothing exceptional. Then the mushroom skewer on mashed potatoes, a canteen dish, failed. Total €110, and they didn't serve coffee. The staff seemed average. I wanted a bitter, but the selection at the bar seemed poor. I won't go back, and yet it's always sold out.

30/12/2025: I've been following Cesare Battisti for a while; his cuisine intrigued me, and I wanted to try it for lunch. Expectations were very high, and... they weren't disappointed. Congratulations to everyone. More than a brigade, it was an army of attentive and harmonious young people... and then the food, speechless. Excellent products, expertly cooked and presented. The only drawback... I don't eat meat, and I would have expected more choice. Parking... A slap in the face to whoever wrote "difficulties," etc. There are two different parking lots 50 meters away, of course, paid, but that's the case everywhere in Milan. Let's hope for the next administration, but that has nothing to do with this... All things considered, it was a positive experience and definitely worth trying. Well done everyone.

13/04/2026: We visited Trattoria Isoletta and were truly satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly, and the traditional dishes were carefully prepared. High-quality ingredients and generous portions were used. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back.

06/04/2026: Very cute trattoria. The restaurant is owned by those who work there which is great to discover the history of the place. The waiting service is impeccable and food was a delight. The menu changes regularly. We sat outside which was just a pleasure on a warm day.

15/03/2026: Authentic place with great service, very attentive and friendly! Spectacular food, especially the ossobuco risotto and the steak tartare with egg! The tiramisu was incredible, one of the best I've ever had. I recommend making a reservation.

13/03/2026: Antica Trattoria Salutati is a restaurant that immerses you in Milanese tradition. The menu features all the great classics, and I must say that both first and second courses are generously portioned, justifying the medium-high prices. The cutlet was expertly prepared, as was the risotto, which was truly yellow and creamy. Unfortunately, there were a few small, avoidable inaccuracies. First of all, one of the two risotto al saltos we ordered was clearly burned; not just toasted, it completely lost the delicious toasted flavor of the other. Furthermore, although the service was very courteous, they didn't check the cellar before offering us a wine to possibly order another bottle, thus forcing us to change wine mid-meal. Just a minor point, but avoidable. All in all, I'd recommend it, especially for the excellent cutlet, but I recommend booking!
