12/10/2025: It was a huge disappointment to return to Scibretta after a couple of years away. I'd come often in the past, even after the first management change, and I remembered dishes cooked with care and attention, local ingredients, and prompt, professional service. We ordered a plate of barbajuai, recommended by the waitress as the dish of the day, along with fried porcini mushrooms, only to be told they weren't available because they can no longer find the brusso (cheese) for the dough... Notify them instead of encouraging them to order? Remove them from the menu? We then ordered two first courses: cruxeti with truffle, whose flavor was barely noticeable (absent!), and pappardelle with saffron and what should have been local pink shrimp. I was served a plate of watery pasta with peeled and obviously frozen shrimp, as well as parsley, which almost completely covered the flavor of the rest. Both first courses cost a whopping €18 each: definitely an affront for such a long shelf life. I didn't find anything of the place I loved so much in the past, and I definitely won't be returning. There are definitely better places.

11/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I've been frequenting high-end restaurants for decades, but an experience like yesterday's is truly unique and worth sharing. My wife and I had heard good things about this restaurant without ever managing to book. When we arrived among the first customers, a gentleman who looked more like a waiter handed us the menu and suggested a paella, which we both gladly accepted, being lovers of Spanish cuisine, which is unusual in the city. He brought us a plate of unremarkable risotto with a few shellfish and pieces of meat. It wasn't a traditional pan-fried dish, and above all, the quantity made me think, despite its sad appearance, that it was a single portion. The risotto wasn't even bad, but at a nearby table, a couple was eating paella in the traditional large pan. I called the man who had suggested and served the dish to us and asked him why the gentlemen next to us were sharing a sizable paella, and what's more, in the traditional pan. The unspeakable response was: "But the gentlemen booked it!!!" Aside from the pleasant ambiance of the place and the quality of the dish, which, if served as risotto, would have deserved a few more stars, I'll leave it up to the reader to form their own opinion of the behavior of the person we dealt with and whoever he or she represents the place.

15/08/2025: Characterful location, excellent food from a truly well-designed tasting menu. If you want to eat in Imperia at a traditional seafood restaurant, this is the place to go. Highly recommended.

28/06/2025: A full pass mark but no more can be given. The 60s room without air conditioning and above all a mini fridge. Decent buffet breakfast. Young and formal staff. Expensive prices.

03/11/2025: The gluten-free pizza was really good, with artisanal dough that was well-cooked and flavorful! The staff was very friendly and the location was very welcoming.

02/11/2025: The restaurant is in a great location, just outside the city center and with a sea view. Excellent staff, and a very good wine list. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Delightful service, a beautiful location, and the food was just as pictured, delicious, authentic, and typical of a seaside town. If you're passing through, don't miss this place. 8.5/10

10/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance is very nice and well-kept inside; we ate outside. The owner was extremely kind and friendly. The service left a bit to be desired; the waiter almost spilled sauce on me. I had the mussels marinara, which are marked as an appetizer, while my partner had the spaghetti with clams. The mussels were fresh and the dishes were good; the only flaw was the very small portions. Given that we're not big eaters, though. Despite mentioning this, we were told the portion was 100 grams. I think this aspect needs some rethinking; I've also read other reviews mentioning the small portions, especially for a first course! In any case, I wouldn't give it less than 4 stars because the fish was good and fresh.
