03/01/2025: Today, the temple of Friulian cuisine, but also of conviviality and sociability. A restaurant with a solid tradition with an immense cellar, but also a tavern which, especially towards the evening, is populated by noisy and extremely mixed humanity, a sign of the fact that this is a timeless and ageless place. Warning to non-regulars: don't expect a starred restaurant or five-star service, because here we'll get down to business.

13/12/2024: Had dinner on 12/12/24.. Nothing special.. plus they are not organized at all.. Terrible service from the kitchen. The second course of meat was delivered and after 10 minutes the vegetables.. Scandalous... Never again..

14/12/2024: Delicious food, really well done, special and interesting dishes, super respectful of the Friulian tradition, very tasty! It's a shame about the tiny portions and the very high prices for the quantities... after a canapé, a shared frico, first and second course and dessert we all left still hungry. The service however was truly disappointing, unpleasant and rude waiters, with everything we took they were really unprofessional, they annoyed us by asking to repeat, the things off the menu each waiter told us a different thing, then they came back from the kitchen to tell us that the things weren't there. Given the prices and the attitude of the place, the staff should behave accordingly, it didn't take much to make the experience pleasant, and don't let yourself be burdened by being there and above all by the money spent, because if you eat well and feel good, the money you spend willingly but like this, none of us, despite the delicious food, wants to return. Sin.

05/01/2025: EXCELLENT DISHES. Beautiful place. There were a lot of people, but the staff worked with professionalism and kindness throughout the evening, I don't know how they managed to calmly and patiently manage so many people, congratulations to everyone!

01/01/2025: So I probably had too many expectations about the dinner on the evening of December 31st, due to the fact that I had only read enthusiastic reactions from previous customers. I understand the chef's search for the "new", but smoking half of the dishes presented might not be a wise choice. In fact, especially in the second course the smoking, in my opinion poorly calibrated, completely covered both the aroma and the flavors of the other ingredients including meat. The meaning and taste of a dessert that could not be defined as such was not understood. The truly excellent dish was only the second starter, poached egg etc etc. The choice of wines and the room service are accurate, a typical location but too redundant with objects. Overall the experience was truly disappointing.

28/12/2024: In a small street near the center. Wonderful and quaint little place. Friendly staff. It has indoor and outdoor tables and two other tables in the shop opposite. Having a Bernese mountain dog, they let us sit in the latter. Very quiet and very spacious. Speaking of the food, the quality is really high. Frico is something out of space! The raw San Daniele doesn't need reviews... delicious! Very acceptable prices... top quality/price ratio! Highly recommended!

06/01/2025: We return every time we are in the area. Informal place, excellent homemade cuisine. The staff is very friendly, the waitress always brings joy, smiling and in a good mood. We enjoyed everything. When we are in the area we go without fail, always a guarantee.

24/12/2024: Mi sono recato, con mio figlio, in questo posto lasciandomi un pò condizionare dalle buone recensioni e perchè mi trovavo in zona. E' la prima volta che, assieme a mio figlio che, visitando un locale, giudichiamo positivamente il servizio piuttosto che la cucina. Se ci fossimo fermati agli antipasti non sarebbe neanche stato male ma il secondo (arrotollato di coniglio arrosto ed il frico) erano proprio maluccio. Il coniglio, rispetto al ripieno non si sentiva ed il frico con patate e cipolla non pervenuto. Il dolce, poi, consigliato dalla proprietaria come fatto in casa (semifreddo al torroncino) non ci ha dato questa impressione ma, se così fosse, non ci è piaciuto. Buoni i vini dell'azienda Alturiis. Il conto, rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato ed alla nostra soddisfazione, altino. Quasii cinque stelle come valutazione attuale del locale lo trovo esagerato perchè, tutti noi, dovrremmo pensare che , le cinque stelle, equivalgono ad un locale dove tutto è perfetto.
