06/05/2026: Great food and service, thank you! We reserved a table for 6 people and had dinner in a separate room upstairs, which was very comfortable and cozy. It was quiet even for our dog.

30/04/2026: I can only say positive things about the food: it was very good and tasty. But I wouldn't return because of the rude welcome. We were repeatedly reprimanded for being slightly late after our reservation time. I don't think it's customer-friendly to have such an attitude. The delay was obviously unintentional, but caused by work. I apologize again and hope no one has to suffer the same treatment in the future.

Yesterday we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary, reconfirming this choice, and it was a dream come true. We received a wonderful welcome from the great Ivan and enjoyed a fantastic lunch in every way; first-rate quality, a variety to please every palate, admirable creativity and professionalism, attention to every detail of the service, and a knowledgeable, courteous, and elegant staff. 09/05/2026: 🍷✨ First stop on our weekend among the wineries of the Colli Orientali del Friuli: a wonderful dinner at Trattoria al Parco di Buttrio... and we couldn't have started better! In the heart of the small village of Buttrio, dominated by its elegant bell tower, this trattoria welcomes guests in a large green space with convenient parking and an authentic, relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is spacious, meticulously maintained, and incredibly welcoming. Even though it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was completely full, thanks to our reservation, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Service was prompt, attentive, and professional from the start, with a welcome basket of warm bread to kick off the evening. We started with a truly memorable trio of appetizers: 🥩 Excellent beef tartare with golden croutons, butter, and caramelized onions 🥓 Simply sublime D’Osvaldo prosciutto accompanied by crispy and flavorful tempura zucchini flowers 🌿 D’Osvaldo asparagus salad with eggs and pancetta: a balanced, tasty, and memorable dish We then skipped the first courses to focus directly on the second courses: succulent lamb chops with mashed potatoes and a delicious sausage with polenta, all accompanied by an excellent Meroi Rosso Nestri DOC F.C.O. 2023. 🍷 To round things off, dessert was a must: a truly exquisite millefeuille with mascarpone and strawberries, the perfect conclusion to a splendid Friulian dinner. 🍓✨ What can I say... impeccable service, top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and an atmosphere that immediately made you feel at home. Kudos to the entire Trattoria al Parco staff for making this a truly memorable experience. The bill was moderately high, but it was absolutely justified by the quality and the experience. We left feeling completely satisfied. Highly recommended! 👏🍽️

07/04/2026: A true gem in Friuli – hospitality that comes from the heart! After our Easter weekend, we visited Al Gnotul on Easter Monday and were absolutely delighted. You can immediately sense the passion that goes into the cooking: While the chef himself works his magic in the kitchen, his wife manages the service with incredible warmth. Although we don't speak Italian, communication was completely straightforward thanks to her great effort and the lovingly prepared menu – even with additional handwritten explanations in German! Choosing was easy, and every course was exquisite: The Cjarsons alla carnica and the Blecs al ragù di anatra were absolutely superb and authentic 😋. To top it all off, we were even served the espresso and grappa on the house – a wonderful gesture that underscores typical Friulian hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for this lovely lunch. We felt very welcome!

10/06/2026: I discovered this place thanks to Google, and the food and wine are really good. Menus are available in English and German, but we were only dining with locals. The tiramisu was fantastic, especially considering how picky I am about that. I would definitely eat here again. We had sea bass and tuna as our main courses.

This beautiful restaurant is a bit hidden on a street in the center of San Daniele, but that gives it an extra touch! For lunch with a friend, we sat at the very comfortable and shaded outdoor tables; the inside dining room is truly charming and welcoming. After perusing the extensive and by no means predictable menu, we ordered prosciutto and stracciatella to share, both very good and of high quality. Followed by tagliolini with San Daniele cheese and polenta and frico: everything was to our liking. The glasses of Friulian white wine and the prosecco were excellent and fresh. The service was friendly, helpful, and well-timed. Highly recommended!!! Thank you for the pleasant experience 🤗

03/06/2026: On Sunday, my husband and I stumbled upon this unfamiliar restaurant. We were greeted warmly. It was hot, and we were served water right away. We quickly ordered our food. The options were so varied, we were spoiled for choice. Shortly afterward, we were served. The dishes were exquisite, all authentic. Nothing was missing from our table. The staff were very attentive. We ate excellent gelato with fresh strawberries, and to finish, some cookies with the house wine. The price was reasonable for what we ate. We promised ourselves we would return. The air conditioning was adequate, and the tables were distributed throughout the various, characteristic rooms. The various paintings hanging on the walls were beautiful. In short, compliments to both the staff and the owner.

02/05/2026: We stopped at La Frasca restaurant on our way to Grado on May 1st, without a reservation. The location is country-style, warm and welcoming, with outdoor seating and a large basement area inside. The staff is professional and friendly; the hostess has a smile that puts everyone at ease, and the management is definitely family-run. The cuisine is varied and authentic Friulian, made with high-quality ingredients. We were so pleased, we'll definitely be back. Lina, Mariarita, Roberto, and Gabriele.

24/05/2026: I've known this place for many years; we even hosted my daughter's graduation lunch there in 2023. I've always had a great time; the appetizers, first courses, and second courses are superb, even the desserts. The staff is very kind and attentive. With the warmer weather approaching, dining out is a nice change of pace. I highly recommend it.
