05/10/2025: And the second time you have satisfied my palate and that of those accompanying me, dishes cooked to perfection, impeccable service, quality food, desserts... what can I say... top, vegan menu, meat and fish... Now the tavernetta is my Saturday half, if from Trieste to Udine you want to go to the Tavernetta you have to have lunch.
04/10/2025: I visited this restaurant recently. Overall, everything was fine. The food was delicious, the portions were decent. The drinks were also fine. The service was average, a little slow, but the staff was polite. The interior is nothing special, but cozy. The prices are average. I think they could improve the speed of service, but overall, it's not bad.

20/09/2025: Mrs. Raffaella welcomed us like schoolchildren... woe betide anyone who got distracted while she recited the entire menu by heart, explaining how and when each dish was made and cooked. The food was truly delicious, and the atmosphere was friendly and homey. It's a shame it's so far away. I'd gladly return.

24/08/2025: I've known Nando's for years, and every time I return, it's a confirmation. Confirmation that the food is truly excellent. That the quality of the ingredients is undeniably top-notch. That the wine list and service are top-notch. That the quality/price ratio is extremely favorable (if you want to eat on a budget, avoid quality places). That in the area (and even beyond) it's difficult to eat better and have such a satisfying dining experience. Unfortunately—as I read in other reviews—this excellence of Friulian cuisine isn't always appreciated by its fellow citizens, and that's a shame because I've always found in this restaurant, besides excellent food, a constant desire to improve, with new and creative dishes offered each time, with truly top-notch results. I've been going there for years with satisfaction, and I'm sure I'll return with equal pleasure in the years to come. As a testament to its excellence, I've included a few photos taken during my numerous visits, ensuring that I've tasted and finished every dish without ever finding the slightest flaw!

06/10/2025: We'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and on Saturday evening we finally managed to book a table for 8:30 PM. Arriving promptly, we found ourselves in a packed restaurant, with a banquet taking up most of the space. Unfortunately, despite our reservation, we weren't greeted, and after a quarter of an hour of waiting without even a greeting, we decided to call another restaurant. At 9:00 PM, still unseated, we decided to eat elsewhere. My overall experience was disappointing, as my expectations were high and the service fell far short of what one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. It's a shame, because we would have loved to try their specialties, but the lack of customer service ruined the atmosphere. I don't know if we'll give them another chance in the future.
04/10/2025: Austria, please wake up – this is how gastronomy works! Why the Trattoria al Parco in Buttrio completely blew us away! My wife and I – neither of us is easily impressed when it comes to food – went to the Trattoria al Parco in Buttrio last night. And what can I say? We were simply thrilled. An evening that showed that gastronomy can not only satisfy, but also enchant. Ambience & First Impression Even from the outside, the building looks like a small country mansion – stone, brick, and inviting facades. Inside, there's no cold, hall-like atmosphere, but pure coziness: cloth tablecloths, harmoniously placed plants, elegant mirrors, two open fireplaces, a rustic charcoal grill – and yet no ash raining down your shirt. Although the restaurant is quite large, it feels surprisingly intimate. Parking? More than enough – no shell game, no desperate parking crisis. Service & Staff From the first minute to the last: ladies and gentlemen at work. The head waiter/restaurant manager was confident without being pompous. The ladies setting the table moved almost silently but efficiently – no "Talk to me, I'm waiting here for a tip" – rather: discreet perfection. Here, ladies and gentlemen serve, ladies and gentlemen. Culinary delights at their finest We started with: Baked octopus – creatively presented and as soft as butter. Baked pumpkin – intensely infused with nutmeg, leek, and cheese – a poem on a plate. Our main course: Beef fillet from the charcoal grill/oven – this taste! No "it was okay in the gas oven anyway" – but: real fire, real aroma, a real "Why don't we hardly ever have that here?" Wood-fired potatoes – crispy on the outside, velvety on the inside, with a flavor that makes you want to debate whether to eat them on their own as a main course. The dessert: Millefoglie with mascarpone cream and a chocolate dessert – meltingly soft, not too sweet, elegant. For this menu – two starters, two main courses, a bottle of Prosecco, and two desserts – we paid an astonishing €130. Yes, you read that right: incredible value for money given this quality. A critical and quizzical comparison to our hometown of Villach in Carinthia, Austria: I get angry when I see that at home, an "Eggs Benedict" for breakfast costs up to €18. The table often remains empty, because quality versus price – many of our restaurateurs here no longer know the balance. Trattoria al Parco shows: There are other ways. There are better ways. Conclusion & Recommendation I can't stop raving about this place. This restaurant is a prime example of what gastronomy could be like today (and our local industry urgently needs to learn from this). My fellow countrymen: take a day trip to Buttrio. Stay overnight. Treat yourself to this experience. You won't regret it. I, for one, keep my fingers crossed that we too will have restaurants like this one one day—but until then: 5 stars undefined plus, unqualified praise! Obrigado, Trattoria al Parco—we'll be back.

The owners are very kind in their advice and hospitality. They serve simple Friulian cuisine, prepared with great care and simplicity. 21/09/2025: First time I had dinner I was very satisfied! I was with locals who took me there! Only the bread they bring you 4 different types of water included in the cover charge, a trio of good first courses, super meat, delicious desserts and plenty of them! I recommend it to everyone because it's worth it!

The welcoming and rustic atmosphere is perfect for an evening with friends or family. Recommended for all lovers of good food!" 5 stars!
28/09/2025: Excellent experience! We stumbled upon it "by chance" on a Sunday lunchtime after we'd decided to go to the beach from Udine. We called 20 minutes early and were very helpful; the owner (I think) responded with "cumbinin" 😊 When we arrived, they were super cheerful and quick to set us a table on the garden veranda, even on a busy day for them. Fresh, local food: two excellent appetizers and an equally good first and second course. Honorable mention for the cabbage on the side; I could have eaten 20 more dishes of it. The service, the location, and the lunch crowned this sunny Sunday at the end of September. We'll definitely be back!
