11/09/2025: A wonderful place worth the 45-minute drive it took me to get there. Excellent food, super-fast service. Extraordinary owner and waiters. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. Don't miss the sweet brick cake to finish off a wonderful dinner in an extraordinary way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience dining at Il Barolino in Carpi. The waitstaff was attentive and offered excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding, and we’ll definitely be returning to Il Barolino. Absolutely loved it!

27/07/2025: Il locale è accogliente, comodo, ed il personale di servizio molto gentile, con uno stile di relazione al cliente cordialmente affabile. I piatti del menu' hanno titoli importanti purtroppo la preparazione ed il risultato non sono all'altezza. Uovo pochè annegato in una crema di patate insapore e corredato da un pezzo di buona coppa piacentina un po' difficile da tagliare nel piatto fondo e da mangiare con il cucchiaio che viene portato per questa pietanza; il secondo che avevo scelto non era disponibile- seppure sul menu'- quindi ho optato per un filetto all'aceto balsamico accompagnato da della bietola saltata in padella (abbinamento che ho trovato abbastanza banale ed anche un po' triste ) che per qualità della carne - davvero niente di che - preparazione - piu da cucina di casa che da ristorante Michelin - ed impiattamento è stato davvero deludente, Per dessert ho scelto una spuma di ricotta con coulisse al frutto della passione; buona la coulisse, che aiuta a spezzare l'eccessiva dolcezza dell'impasto di ricotta, il quale non è per nulla spumoso; dessert decisamente non riuscito che toglierei dal menu. Buona la bolla di Trento doc anche se non adeguatamente fredda. I prezzi delle singole portate sono in linea con quanto si trova in ristoranti di livello equiparabile, nella fattispecie però il rapporto qualità-prezzo rende questo ristorante molto costoso e non da Guida Michelin

22/08/2025: The food was excellent and the location was pleasant. A special mention goes to the waiters, all very young, well-prepared, and impeccable.

10/08/2025: Good food. Cozy and charming little place. The staff is perhaps too young and inexperienced, but polite. The coffee served in plastic cups is a real letdown; it's scalding hot and tastes bad, ruining the finish. Overall, everything was good. The desserts also need some updating.

30/09/2025: I had the tagliata with arugula and parmesan, well-cooked just the way I like it. The tigelle and gnocco were excellent. The prosciutto was sweet. The only flaw was the soundproofing, which could be improved. Otherwise, everything was fine, even the bill, which was fair for what we had eaten.

28/08/2025: On busy evenings, the interior can be a bit too noisy (the enclosed veranda is better), but the service is very fast and efficient even when the dining room is full. The first courses are delicious (especially the asparagus tortelli), and the meat is truly excellent, high-quality cuts, prepared simply but expertly, and always perfectly cooked. Another highlight is the fried gnocco (one of the best I've tasted in recent memory), while the tigelle are tasty but a bit too "full." If I had to make a small complaint, I would have appreciated a paper menu or at least better graphic organization of the digital menu (which is a bit too rambling).

26/08/2025: The perfect place for textbook fried gnocco. The meat is excellent, and the fried mushrooms are a must! On Sundays, the service could use a bit of a boost to avoid excessively long waits. Otherwise, it's spot on. Well done!!

21/09/2025: A very elegant and welcoming place. We were greeted with warmth and professionalism. They were willing to accommodate our 9-month-old baby's needs. Lunch began with a very good entrée, followed by two excellent first courses, two spectacular desserts, and a pre-dessert, a glass of Lambrusco, and a bottle of water for €40 each. Excellent value for money, and a noteworthy location. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: An excellent property where we both stayed and dined, spending a pleasant weekend. We were very pleased with the welcome, the elegance and attention to detail of the restaurant, and the excellent quality of the pasta we ate. The rooms are very spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast buffet was beautifully presented, very varied, and made with top-quality products. Compliments to all the staff for their kindness and customer service.

09/08/2025: I went there with my partner and other friends. Very welcoming, the small tortellini were excellent. The gnocchi and cured meats were excellent. The staff was attentive and fast. I highly recommend this place ALWAYS!!!

11/10/2025: A beautiful place where everything evokes the great Luciano Pavarotti. Typical Emilian food, with an amazing dessert trolley! A well-stocked wine cellar... a truly excellent restaurant.

09/10/2025: Wherever you go in Emilia, you're always in for a treat. Let's just say the Michelin star is well-deserved. The dishes are traditional and delicious, just the way they should be, without too many twists and turns, and undeniably delicious. The atmosphere is very tidy and clean.

02/10/2025: I stopped at this restaurant while passing through Castelfranco, and I have to say it was a pleasant discovery! Not only for the fabulous tortellini in broth and the refreshing Lambrusco, but also and above all for the courtesy and professionalism of Beppe and his wife: it was like feeling right at home! Tradition and old-fashioned flavors! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!

13/09/2025: Everything perfect. Beautiful, unique place with various items. Excellent welcome and good choice on the menu. Excellent first courses and appetizers... unfortunately, you can't have the second course given the large portions. Excellent wine and good bill. Trio of first courses 13.50. Fast and pleasant service.

08/08/2025: Positive experience We had two first courses: tortelloni (only two each, but huge) and gnocchi. The tortellini were very good, and the gnocchi were average. The mixed grill was good, and the gnocco fritto with cured meats was average. The panna cotta and mascarpone with Barozzi cake were very good. The price was about €35 per person, which I'd say was fair. It's a shame it's so far from Bologna, but I'll be back for the onion soup, which they only make in winter. The staff was efficient and very friendly.
