01/01/2025: Christmas Eve lunch, everything was impeccable. We ate very well, the service and availability were perfect, compliments to the staff. I will definitely return because I saw several dishes on the menu that I think are worth trying. Correct prices for location and service. Well done!

19/12/2024: Serata fantastica. Era la prima volta che andavo in questo locale e ho mangiato divinamente. Qualità delle materie prime eccellente. Abilità sopraffina dello chef nella preparazione dei piatti Ho scelto i meedaglioni di maialino con salsa di mele campanine e purè di sedano rapa. Squisiti.

08/12/2024: Siamo stati stasera a cena presso questo ristorante per festeggiare un Battesimo di amici. Cibo buono, location elegante, molto celeri nel servizio...se non fosse che siamo dovuti andare via prima dalla cena perché, durante la serata, non si capisce bene il motivo, un inserviente (cuoco? aiuto cuoco? cameriere?) che era in cucina - e che probabilmente avrebbe fatto meglio a rimanerci - ha ben pensato di uscire dalla cucina, mettersi una maschera da leone (o di qualche animale non ben definito) e fare uno scherzo (molto mal riuscito) a bimbi piccoli, tra cui mio figlio, che si sono terrorizzati e che si sono messi a piangere e urlare nel ristorante. Noi nella fattispecie siamo dovuti andare via.....andando cosi a rovinarci la serata che fino a quel momento era stata piacevole. Mi auguro non succeda così ad ogni serata con bambini...noi non credo torneremo volentieri, peccato!

25/12/2024: The restaurant is located on the outskirts of Vignola adjacent to the Panaro river valley. The dishes are inspired by local tradition with refined reinterpretations such as the delicious chocolate tortelloni with mushroom sauce or passatelli with truffle. The meat-based second courses are also worthy of mention. The strong point of this place is the possibility of tasting the "borlenghi" cooked in a masterful way. Good variety of desserts. I found very efficient and friendly service even though the place was very busy. Clean and accessible bathrooms.

15/12/2024: We ate divinely, exceptional tagliatelle with mushrooms, as well as the tortelloni, also the really good borlenghi, mala tagliatelle of beef and it was AMAZING, it melted in your mouth...... highly recommended!

08/12/2024: Non è la prima volta che vado in questo locale e mi sono sempre trovato bene ma, secondo me si può fare ancora meglio e quindi mi permetto una critica costruttiva. Sarebbe meglio inserire qualche piatto vegetariano perché di fatto se si esclude il pesce, proprio non ce ne sono. Io sono vegetariano ma, con una piccola deroga e quindi ho mangiato i tortellini impannati (molto buoni) e l’uovo poche con tartufo. Premesso che la scelta spetta al ristoratore, inserendo qualche piatto veg, si amplierebbe la platea. In un ristorante di questo tipo, medio alto, la carta dei vini andrebbe spigata meglio indicando i vitigni e anche le loro particolarità. Chi li sceglie è competente ma, comunicarli meglio farebbe la differenza. Molte volte ho trovato vini interessanti (FIVI) ma, credo pochi capiscano di cosa si tratti e quindi andrebbe spiegato meglio quanto offerto in carta.

It's difficult to choose a few dishes to recommend: they are all original reinterpretations of traditional dishes, from Modena and beyond. In terms of personal delicacies, highly recommended as a starter, but not only, the formidable traditional Modena plum jam prepared by them themselves.

14/12/2024: Beautiful setting in the heart of a large city park (best seen again in spring), excellent service and succulent dishes. The specialty here is meat: many excellent quality cuts. The ribs are special, the cuts are exceptional, but from the menu it is clear that there is also much more. Also noteworthy are the pappardelle with wild boar.

23/12/2024: Culinary experience in the Land of Motors, signed by Massimo Bottura I recently went to the Cavallino Restaurant with friends for dinner. Right from the start, upon entering the entrance, you perceive a refined but at the same time welcoming atmosphere, full of details that celebrate, in a revisited key, the charm of Maranello, in its indissoluble bond with the world of Ferrari. The menu is varied and creative: the dishes are a combination of tradition and innovation, with ingredients and flavors balanced to perfection. The desserts look spectacular, especially the revisited trifle. The service was impeccable: the staff is friendly, attentive and prepared to present each dish served. The quality-price ratio is excellent for the quality of the experience offered. I highly recommend it. Congratulations to the entire Cavallino team and chef Bottura for having created such a beautiful place.

Exceptionally generous dishes compared to the restaurant average and of excellent quality. Recommended for occasions with friends and family.
