After the cherry festival in Vignola, we stopped at this trattoria in the heart of Modena. We were immediately captivated by the hospitality of the locals, incredibly kind and dynamic, unlike anything you'll find in the area. I'd call it Emilian hospitality, without disparaging the Romagna tradition, God forbid. We were truly delighted with everything. From the "Borlengo," which we first encountered in the square in Vignola, offered as a welcome drink, to the tagliatelle with morels, the tagliata, and everything else, all washed down with a good bottle of Lambrusco—I don't remember the label. I highly recommend stopping at this delicious and welcoming trattoria. The price/quality ratio is fair.

A truly beautiful place, with an indoor dining area and an outdoor veranda that helps to accommodate a large number of people.
The manager and waiters were excellent. On this occasion, I mostly ate fried gnocchi, tigelle, and borlenghi, but I'll be back for more restaurant-style food; I already know I'll want to try their tortellini, which I love.
Everything was clean, including the bathroom. Well done, and see you soon.

We had dinner on a Saturday night, and despite the restaurant being packed, the service was impeccable. The borlenghi were truly excellent, as were the tigelle and the pasta dishes, especially the ricotta and asparagus tortellacci with smoked pancetta. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
