My wife and I visited for the first time on April 26/27. It exceeded our expectations—excellent food, atmosphere, and service. Jorge (from Peru) served us in a very friendly and highly recommended way. We will definitely return as soon as we get back. Keep it up! 👍👍🌶️

The area is well known for the Spanish steps so busy with tourists but this restaurant is very much an Italian affair, making it slightly more fun! The service and food was great but it’s all about sitting outside and viewing the square and it’s life. The menu is classic Italian with a few twists making it a bit more interesting! Make sure you book! Enjoy

The food doesn't live up to the expectations created by the location, service, and reputation. We didn't have a bad meal, but the food was a bit heavy, and the value for money wasn't at all good. Price-wise, it's a restaurant you go to every now and then, but the high price isn't entirely justified by the quality of the food.

As a Bolognese, I'd say the dishes are good but not exceptional. The real tortellini are less than half the size, and the filling... mmm.... I'd say so. Overall, though, it's a good and refined restaurant.

The only drawback is that it closes very early, and reservations are essential due to high demand.

La Locanda

09/07/2026: Ristorante La Locanda is a small gem, still "old" and full of authentic flavors. It serves traditional Emilia-Romagna dishes. The food is truly flavorful and tasty, with handmade pasta. The cappellacci del Duca are highly recommended, as are the foie gras and potato tart with pecorino di fossa and guanciale for starters. The desserts are also exceptional, always homemade. The owner is a very kind older man, who even addresses you formally. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommended.
06/06/2026: An unexpected place that surprised us in every way. We felt at home. A very simple atmosphere, now hard to find in big cities. A big thank you for the evening.
