01/06/2025: This place is truly special. If you are in the region, do yourself a favour and go. It’s set in a gorgeous medieval village with a great view. The food is outstanding. We had the tasting menu for €40 euros per person and highly recommend it. They will customise it for you - for example, if you want to try a particular dish they will swap another one out. All of it was delicious. Particularly recommend the tortellini in broth, and the fior de latte for dessert. Also, reserve a table because it is a popular place and they get booked up.

24/05/2025: Restaurant promoted with full marks! We started with an excellent friggione (the best we tried in Bologna), delicious cold cuts, TOP mortadella! As a first course a dish of Balanzoni in parmesan cream... really good. As a second course a rabbit roll... tasty and perfectly cooked. Friendly and professional service. EXCELLENT!

07/05/2025: Very informal place, paper tablecloth, wooden benches to sit on, but the food is good, with cooking with an open fireplace in the middle of the room, well-prepared original dishes, bottled wines only, decent assortment, average bill, even if the expectation was cheaper.

26/05/2025: The lasagna was absolutely mouthwatering rich, flavorful, and elevated by the unique touch of spinach. We also loved the tagliatelle it was so fresh But the highlight…Antonella’s dessert. The real life Nonna herself was our server. She made a torta cioccolato, so good it nearly brought me to tears. Hands down, the best dessert we’ve had in Italy.

20/04/2025: Oh thanks to Alice's friend Diego for directing us here! Fantastic tortelli, excellent potatoes, wonderful roast veal, balanced, tasty, handmade pastry. Price more than honest. Courteous and kind staff, friendly and warm atmosphere. We will come back and advertise (even if you don't need to as it's always well attended!). Thanks for the nice experience. The next day: lover of trifle, I ordered it elsewhere today too. I can confirm that Valerio's makes it REALLY SUPER SUPER like my grandmother made it (and the pudding too!), with intense dark chocolate (the other innkeepers really make it pale!) and alchermes "properly": a rare balance. I would also add that the attention to detail, even to the bathroom furnishings (very clean!) such as the menu design, or the TNT tablecloth but with local designs, makes you feel truly pampered! Well done3 well done3 well done!

15/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant twice, months apart. The first time I was very impressed, I really liked the food. The second time it was still good but I wasn't thrilled. The service has always been good, the staff is friendly and easy-going. I personally like the atmosphere and it is typical of a restaurant, convivial and noisy. If you like to eat in silence and talk in a low voice, this is not the place for you. The prices are fair, if you want to get an idea, the menu is available on the website. I have always found free parking in the area and booked conveniently via WhatsApp.

01/06/2025: Incredible buffet appetizers (I recommend the spinach with butter and parmesan), excellent balanzoni and the definitive cotoletta alla bolognese. Reasonable prices. Reservations recommended new weekend.

31/05/2025: Very often on Friday evenings with childhood friends we have been going to Randagio for years, a place where you can find everything, from pizza, to meat and fish. The fish then, I would say one of the strong points, from the Paella, to an excellent and abundant mixed fried fish, both of mixed seafood and traditional to finish with excellent mixed grills with shellfish or normal. I would say the managers are good at satisfying customers, they are open 7 days a week, the waiting staff are good and fast. Then what can I say excellent prices. Try it to believe it.

17/05/2025: Mi sono recato in questa trattoria perché durante una trasferta di lavoro a Bologna volevo provare un locale di cucina tipica. Il locale é carino e ha posti sia all’interno che all’esterno. Il menù é molto ampio e prevede sia piatti di carne che di pesce tra cui anche quelli tipici della cucina bolognese. Il piatto di tagliatelle che ho preso era molto buono, abbondante e con tanto ragù. I prezzi sono ottimi, per un primo siamo sugli 8/9 euro. Il personale è molto gentile e insieme al caffè mi é anche stato offerto un carinissimo sacchettino di biscottini.

15/05/2025: Ristorante di medie dimensioni situato a Bologna. Cibo di ottima qualità, dagli antipasti ai dolci, con ampia scelta. Personale gentile e disponibile; prezzi nella media. Da riprovare!
