01/05/2026: On the recommendation of our guesthouse owner, we discovered this restaurant – and it was absolutely worth it. The appetizer menu alone was so tempting that we would have loved to order everything. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was quite busy in the evening; without a reservation, we were lucky to get a table – later on, that would hardly have been possible.
30/04/2026: Well done, great service! A quaint place.
The only flaw is that the desserts aren't up to par with the other dishes. The strudel is missing!!!

21/05/2026: The Franziskanerstuben restaurant in Bolzano is highly recommended. The staff is very kind, friendly, and attentive; you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was delicious, the prices perfectly reasonable, and the atmosphere pleasant and cozy.
A restaurant where you simply feel at ease and want to linger.
Surprisingly rare these days: friendly service, good food, and fair prices all at once. It's not exactly magic, but the restaurant industry treats it like a dying art form these days.

29/05/2026: + The restaurant has a very nice wood-paneled interior.
- Seating was not allowed in the main room.
- The Kaiserschmarrn was very bad. A regular pancake, fried in far too much fat. Inedible.
- The portion size would be fine for dessert, but not as a main course. Clearly too small to be filling. Double the amount would be necessary.
- A glass of tap water costs 50 cents.
- Two different servers saw that my plate was still full when I paid. I only ate three bites. Yet, neither asked how it tasted or why my plate was mostly untouched.
All in all, not a restaurant I would recommend. There are far too many other options nearby.
14/05/2026: The bar staff were very rude. The barmaid was very unfriendly. We waited 30 minutes for a table, only to be told some tables were reserved for workers with meal vouchers. I hope this has changed.

30/12/2025: A typical restaurant, excellent traditional cuisine, and friendly and knowledgeable staff who explain the highlights of the dish when you order.
A unique experience, definitely worth repeating.

26/05/2026: The kitchen lost some points: too much salt
24/05/2026: Through a colleague, we were directed to have a quick lunch during a break from a union training course at Buzzi Hospital, at this truly beautiful and unique restaurant.
To cut a long story short, we tried a mixed cured meat platter, followed by a colleague's entrée with scallops, another the lamb shank, and me and another the pork shank with baked potatoes and vegetables.
Everything was truly delicious and in satisfying quantities (and to think the owner was worried we wouldn't eat everything, but obviously didn't know us), especially the pork shank, which, in my opinion, is absolutely worth trying.
We paid a fair price, considering the size and overall quality of the meals served, so next time I get a chance, I plan to return to try other delicacies on their menu (it could be more varied and extensive, but a few good ones are also a good idea!).

We'd already been to this park last year!
We drive quite a distance just to get there at 5 PM, because we're not from the area!
A nice sign that says "last entry at 4 PM..."
And where does it say that? ... WHERE DID YOU SAY THAT?!
Not on the website, no, ma'am, not on the website!!!
After ringing the bell, they open the barrier... I ring the bell three more times to tell her I'd paid cash but that I'd like to stay in for just half an hour! No one listens.
I try to enter the park, and then, and only then, the lady appears at the window complaining that no, I can't come in!
So to complain that I can't come in, you reveal yourself, but to ask you to pay cash and come in, no?!
I'm sorry! I like the park, but this is no way to behave. What did it cost you to let us in for 30 minutes!? After a 3-hour drive?
You told me I should have found out, how?!
Where did you say last entry is at 4 PM?!
I'll tell you where, BY CALLING. And why on earth would I call?
Moreover, the RECORDED RECORD says that FROM TODAY last entry is at 4 PM!
You're a disgrace!
If you had let us in, paying, there wouldn't have been any problems. We're not here every day. We came here on purpose. You could have had a modicum of understanding!
And don't tell me that "if I had waited, you would have let us in" because you told me you had other things to do! At 5 PM... you had dinner?
Hmm... no one can take away your German streak.

02/05/2026: I bought some products over the course of several weeks, then returned to find the price of the cheese (already expensive) had increased by 50%. Result: I won't be returning and will buy the same items online at a lower price. A word of advice: before making any purchases there, ask carefully for prices and a receipt.
30/04/2026: We were three for dinner, with limited choices and ridiculous waiters, and customers wandering around the restaurant looking for a waiter. We spent our time waiting for waiters to come by, waiting for dishes that never arrived, and finally we found a hair in our plate. Disgusting, it took our appetite away. Not recommended!

24/06/2025: SIamo andati in una torrida domenica di giugno, ma il caldo non ci ha impedito di apprezzare cibo e location; servizio cortese, veloce (pure troppo, appena finiti i primi ci hanno subito portato i secondi...).
Abbiamo optato per un tris di primi da dividere in 4, veramente saporiti, e fantastica la rosticciata con lo stinco.
Prezzo non esattamente da agriturismo di una volta, ma per la qualità del cibo ci sta.
25/05/2025: Scelto su Tripadisor....Location piacevole, cibo ottimo, personale disponibile e cortese, prezzi nella norma....continuate così..!!!

12/12/2024: Una domenica mezzogiorno, per puro caso (eravamo in un negozio in zona), abbiamo avuto la fortuna di pranzare qui.
Abbiamo mangiato (e bevuto) davvero benissimo, il posto è accogliente e il personale molto, molto gentile.
