14/10/2025: Absolutely amazing local experience. Presentation of the dishes, the service and the atmosphere are top notch. The dishes were beautifully balanced - we had seasonal deer and chestnut dishes. Down to earth but feels like a Michelin star meal. Highly recommended! Probably one of the best desserts we have ever tried.

17/10/2025: We spent the last evening of our vacation at the Pretzhof. It couldn't have been better! Since the Pretzhof had been recommended to us, we arrived with high expectations. All the tables in the restaurant were full, but the manager offered us a seat at the bar. It didn't feel awkward at all—quite the opposite! We've rarely seen such friendly, dedicated, and competent service staff! The wine list offers a huge selection from local and even distant wineries, so everyone can find something they like. We each ordered three courses from the manager. He gave us great advice on choosing the right dish. All three courses were simply world-class! No frills, just honest cuisine at a completely reasonable price!

13/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant just steps from Vipiteno. Traditional cuisine using local South Tyrolean ingredients, cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the pasta dishes, the open dumpling, and the appetizers. The wine selection is excellent.

02/11/2025: The best dumplings I've ever tasted in the mountains!! Truly delicious!! Exceptional place. Polenta with porcini mushrooms is wonderful. The tagliatelle with venison ragù that my family had was delicious! We'll definitely be back! This place is definitely worth adding to our favorites list! Wow!

30/10/2025: Excellent local cuisine in a refined atmosphere. Although the restaurant was very full and we hadn't made a reservation, we received excellent service.

19/10/2025: My husband and I went to this restaurant on my brother's recommendation: it was truly a wonderful culinary experience!

20/09/2025: Visited because of the promising menu. However, I was completely disappointed. The food had hardly any flavor, not even salt. Tafelspitz without sauce? A dry affair. Outside, there was a lot of street noise, due to the busy road. Only the service was friendly and prompt. Not recommended for gourmets.

09/11/2025: I had a carbonara, it tasted of water, you could just about feel its flavour, the place itself is beautiful

07/11/2025: A good traditional restaurant in the historic center of Bolzano. Typical but clean decor. The menu is very traditional and from what we saw at other tables, everything looks very tasty. We ate typical German dishes that were delicious. The Sylvaner wine was nice from a bottle. They lacked quality mustard as the one offered was in sachets.... The service was very nice, fast and attentive. Be aware that there will be a waiting line.

18/10/2025: The food was very good—the barley soup was just like my grandmother would have made it. The meat dishes were delicious. The service was very professional and friendly, well worth the tip.

24/06/2025: SIamo andati in una torrida domenica di giugno, ma il caldo non ci ha impedito di apprezzare cibo e location; servizio cortese, veloce (pure troppo, appena finiti i primi ci hanno subito portato i secondi...). Abbiamo optato per un tris di primi da dividere in 4, veramente saporiti, e fantastica la rosticciata con lo stinco. Prezzo non esattamente da agriturismo di una volta, ma per la qualità del cibo ci sta.

17/09/2025: I returned to this place after several years. The traditional dishes are all very good, and the craft beer is exceptional. A lovely atmosphere in an old building in the center. It's always best to reserve, especially if you're in a group.
