A simply perfect experience. Extraordinary, authentic, and expertly prepared dumplings. Excellent, refined, and unforgettable desserts. Perfectly served beer, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A restaurant that represents the best of South Tyrolean tradition. A must-try.

We went there for lunch today after two years and were unfortunately disappointed. The food arrived very quickly but was only lukewarm. Furthermore, they weren't roasted potatoes; they were pale, not fried, and extremely mealy. The server was very friendly and I was given new ones, but unfortunately, they were the same, only hot. In conclusion, we'll happily have a beer there in the future, but we won't be eating there again.

If you're staying in Bolzano, you can't miss this traditional brewery with top-notch craft beer. I found it by chance two years ago, and it's a regular stop whenever I come to Bolzano.

The food was delicious and the home-brewed beer was a good match. The waiter was very reserved. Perhaps it would be better to speak to him in Italian or English. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

31/07/2026: Spectacular place and attentive, fast service! The only flaw is the food. We had a burger, and the meat was overcooked; a pinsa, which wasn't the best; a dish of the day; and a wok of rice, nothing special. The feeling is that they're focusing a lot on the wow factor, and they succeed, but the food is a bit neglected. Another point is that we had a particularly low, round table, which slopes slightly. The chairs on one side of the table were very high, making it uncomfortable to eat at... small details, but worth noting.
30/07/2026: Kelli, Riz, and Nelly made our experience fantastic. If you're in Bolzano for a night out with friends, you have to come to Batzi <3 Fabulous beers 🍺

05/05/2026: Loved the food and the old time charm here but the service was quite gruff. Our waiter brought us one entree, then our side a few minutes later. When we asked about the second entree (goulash) he huffed and rolled his eyes. It eventually came but we shouldn’t have had to ask.
04/05/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance while strolling through the streets of the city center, and it was a great discovery. The atmosphere is welcoming and the menu is varied, featuring traditional dishes. I ordered onion soup and goulash with polenta, both of which were delicately flavored and the meat was perfectly cooked. I'll definitely be back.
